Harvey's mom promised she wouldn't do it again & she broke that promise. I'm on Harvey's side. Harvey didn't destroy their family, his mother did the second she cheated on her husband twice. She's the one who should've thought about their family before she did what she did. Not only that, but Marcus is acting like child.
nah, she did it the second she did it the first time
@@isosta2373 She promised she wouldn't do it again & she lied.
Once a cheater, always a cheater. Just ask my mom’s second husband, he cheated on her and my stepmom. I don’t talk to him because of his cheating.
Promises don’t mean anything when it comes to women
The title of this video should be “how everyone blames Harvey”.
Harvey is the best
His family is the worst ever
"Mom just left". She felt so ashamed she couldn't stay to fight for her marriage instead she run off with her lover, incredible.
What do u mean fight..once a woman cheats she doesn’t care about her relationship or marriage it’s gone..men you always gotta prepare for the surprise…she didn’t fight cause she didn’t care
Never occurred to me, the nerve of Bobby to even show up is crazy
I hated that too! Almost felt like they were rubbing it in Harvey's face how powerless he was to expose them
And he shows up to Gordon's funeral. And he tries to get mad at Harvey for talking back to his mother and even says "because it shows what kind of man I am" yeah bro the kind of man who would knowingly sleep with a married woman then go the mans funeral
She has a lot of nerve telling Harvey it’s HIM destroying their family.
Women hate accountability...
@@bigpoppasmurf1813 You shouldn't use a scene from a fictional show to justify your hate towards women.
@@yourfriend895 it's not hate it's factual women don't take accountability like men do 😅😅😅
@@hannanshaikh2065 I would love to see the academic papers and studies that you used to get to such a fact.
Would you be so kind to link them to me?
@@yourfriend895 Don't bother arguing with this guy, won't see reason.
Harvey is not the bad guy here; he didn't cheat on his husband, his mother did. He's only having a hard time wether telling his father or not --> right decision at the end.
I will never like how they handle this and made Harvey look like the one in the wrong at the end of this. His mom was and is a terrible human being.
Totally agree apparently in the later seasons of the show they replaced alot of writers who started writing more political and racial things into the show
Amen
She wasn’t trying to make him out to be wrong. His choice to tell him the way he did made it so much worse and blew up everything more than it should’ve. Harvey should’ve stuck with the promise the first time and tell him even after hearing he’s coming home. Or find an opportune time to tell him just one on one or even pull him Marcus and his dad in a room and break it down to them. This was the absolute worst way he could’ve done it. Emotions were negative and high because his father just wanted to know why Harvey was acting so harsh and then he dropped a nuke on him, basically crushing his soul.
This is probably my favorite storyline out of the entire show. I didn’t like that the writers decided to have him make up with his mom in the end.
It amuses me that they had Harvey eventually forgive her. She deserved so much worse for what she put him through as a child.
To be fair she did finally do what Harvey's wanted her to do since the start. She took responsibility for the damage she caused, she acknowledged that she failed as a mother and wife and that Harvey's anger at her is completely justified.
@@benkirkman1866 Far too little, far too late.
@@benkirkman1866taking responsibility for the damage? Hahaha. So a burglar breaks into your house, attacks your family and then one fine day turns up saying "I take responsibility for what I did the other day", would you forgive him?
His anger is justified. But at some point it’s not worth it to hold on to that anger even if it’s justified. Especially if it’s your family.
@@goldenstatewarriors9418I'm gonna disagree
Sorry but Harvey is completely in the right here, his mom cheated on his dad, and his dad had a right to know what was going on in his own house, because it would have been worse if his dad was the one that caught them in the act or found Harvey knew and didn't say anything.
Also his brother at the end, come on man wake up your mom was cheating on your dad in there home, his problem isnt that Harvey is jealous of him, he jealous of Harvey because if he was the one that found them he keep it a secret, which shows Harvey is a better man than his brother.
Also his Mom saying he will destroy the family, sorry lady you did that yourself.
I wholly agree with that statement. When I saw the episode where Harvey finally reconciled with his mom, the one big flaw in that episode is how everyone blamed Harvey for how disconnected he is from the family. And then his mother had the gall to say that she forgave him for how he behaved at the wake. While she finally said what Harvey needed to hear at the end, I am angry they never had a scene with Lily finally coming to terms and accepting the consequences of her choices. They just had her do it off screen and then change her words. That's bad writing. And before that Bobby and Marcus go tell Harvey that their family is ok without him and that he's the one at fault for cutting himself off from the family. The truth is, Harvey only cut his mother off. Marcus is the one who cut his brother off and took his mom's side. Harvey stayed close to his dad over the years up until he died. Marcus ran off to his mother who ran off to Bobby and they made their own little family. Gordon may have accepted it but that's only because Lily finally apologized to Gordon for their marriage not working out. However, she conveniently forgot that Gordon was not the only man she hurt. She hurt her son, made him lie for her, and still broke his trust and respect. Everyone may have moved on but only because Lily apologized to everyone except Harvey. If she truly cared, she would've fought to get Harvey to give her a chance to apologize. But she just gave up and let her son cut her off. She never apologized for her betrayals until the end and it was still lazy writing.
the only thing i might consider him doing wrong is HOW he told his dad. Id have told him the first time, and a little more gently. but overall, hes like 99% in the right. his mum doesnt deserve him or anything at all
Life and families can be very difficult and heart breaking especially when no one admitts to the main problem of their decision. Keeping things bottled up only makes the problem worse.
“We’re gonna be family too” I love jessica
8:28, 8:33, 8:42, & 8:50 Stop acting like a whiny brat, Marcus. You're not a kid anymore. And you need to learn to take care of yourself instead of expecting others to take care of you for the rest of your life.
There are clear rules that specify, among other things, that psychologists do not give advice to patients.
Friends and family offer advice. Paula has just crossed a line: she has gone from Harvey's therapist to his friend.
Then to his girlfriend.....Paula's was a joke of a character.
Should have had a much smaller role (if any), but they wanted to make Harvey look weak in later seasons.
Political Correctness is 💩
@@Jordy4610 why tf did they feel the need to make Harvey ask her out in later seasons. Couldn't they have just kept her as his therapist????
Harvey has caused many things, but his family breaking up is not his fault
I can never understand this show’s position on Infidelity. Almost every time its brought up with Harvey’s family or Rachel with Mike they treat it like its on the person who’s cheated on to make things better and never truly punishes those who actively make the choice to destroy their own family. I love this show but the writers have a weird obsession with absolving cheaters and making the victims of it the bad guy.
Welcome to the 21st Century and the age of "no accountability". As if talking to the person you love the most is some for gone conclussion to how make things better even if that means splitting up a family.
I would have more respect for a gf/wife if she came to me and told me before anything happens she has negative feelings about me or has anything for someone else so we can try to fix it.
Harvey's dad - "What was your mother doing"
Harvey - "Bobby"
WOW just wow
I’m sorry but this line made me laugh
accurate yet savagely honest
Harvey's mother and brother didn't deserve him.
harvey's WHOLE FAMILY DIDNT DESERVE HIM NO ONE DID
Harvey wanting to stay at Jesica’s place is so cute hahah like crying to a big sister like a baby boo😂
I see Marcus got his infidelity from his mother.
Did Marcus ever cheat? I remember her lied to Harvey about cheating to cover him doing something even worse
@@sldarwin5615 No, the truth was that he was caught gambling by his daughter, told her to keep it a secret and lied about it. To me, infidelity is more about lying to your partner and being disloyal than just cheating
Yeah Marcus definitely takes after his mother. I can't believe he would berate Harvey for exposing their mum's affair and even making it about him by accusing Harvey of having done it to spite him for getting a car from Bobby. Both just narcissistic cowards who think happy lies are better than hard truths.
Marcus didn’t cheat. He pretended he did to cover up that he started gambling again.
Even the F-ing therapist blames Harvey
She has the nerves to Invite her lover to family gathering. Such a shameless women
The writers really did Harvey the biggest disservice in this series with this storyline. To make him the villain in all of this and have him apologize at the end is just terrible
Never mind them
Harvey is the best ever
Harvey was a bottom line guy who would use people based upon their own lies....The hurt was his father was losing his faculties and his mother showed him what women are about, yet his boss showed him how to deal with women in a business-like manner -- so you have emotion vs. business and the business always won with Harvey, he could see beyond the veil.
Could you give an example of how Jessica taught him how to deal with them in a business like manner?
@@MagusKali Well, it's a theme in the show; if you look at their interactions throughout the show, you could see a motherly-instinct in how Jessica would guide Harvey in dealing with female clients, especially when the female clients were trying to manipulate the company or compromise Harvey's position ... Jessica taught more about HOW to see another perspective, it's like any person seeing something one way but you show them the way the other party is thinking, and you use that against them.... I haven't seen the show in some time.... The prime example is when Jessica and Harvey had their competition and Jessica cheated to get the advantage and turned it around to see Harvey's advancement in the firm (War, season 2, episode 16) .... See, Harvey was ambitious, but he couldn't trust due to his relationship with his mother; Jessica represented both his vulnerability emotionally and his psychological vulnerability as a businessperson...Harvey could not believe someone would love him that much, even when he was wrong, Jessica had compassion on him with fire to line him up right, something his mother could not do while also Jessica let him know she was in charge as long as he followed her, he was going to succeed but he couldn't accept success because of 'how' it looked or came -- Harvey was an image guy and when his image fell he emotionally broke down, it wasn't his intelligence as much as his image and vulnerability which fell... Jessica was always his teacher and test which is why he could never let her go but she had to allow him to fly.
I seen suits 4 times.
I like the scene’s with Harvey and Paula, during therapy, didn’t like their relationship.
It was weird for them to have Gabriel play his young Harvey. They should have cast someone else for that role. He looks the same age and it makes the scenes off.
the hairline 😭😭😭
How old was he supposed to be here lol, I cant figure out its confusing
@@Josh-si6ds About Mike's age, he was a 1st-2nd year associate at Pearson Hardman
The person may not be able to pull off the acting
@@edwinlam4679 Wasn't even at Pearson yet as the clip shows. He was clerking for the summer so I'm guessing still in law school.
Harveys family is so pathetic.
ikr, they're so dysfunctional
Specially his loser of a brother 😂😂😂
Please bring this back
To blame Harvey for "destroying the family" when you are the one cheating with your husband's friend is really something else
I love how they never attempt to make Harvey look younger in the flashbacks 😂
Title of the video should be "How to justify promiscuity & gaslight the victim"
Worst therapist ever!
I cant stand the therapist
Harvey's mom sure got passed around a lot
This was wrong. Harvey was in the right. This is just tv drama bs.
Can someone just imagine a whole grown up full flesh man like Marcus crying that his parents is not gonna be there for him and no one is... Someone that should be taking care of his own family and running things ON HIS OWN..
And the Mother should be the biggest hypocrite alive on planet earth to have the guts to say that Harvey is the one destroying the family after what she did for years...
The husband sacrifice and her betrayal of everyone on the altar of selfish pleasure and she has the guts to wanna put it on Harvey...
I always hated Suits narrative that Harvey was the bad guy for telling his dad the truth and not forgiving his mum
The therapist is a joke of a character-
I think what Paula is saying here is that Harvey himself broke his word of telling his father the truth. He should've said it then itself when he caught his mother. But instead, he hurt his father like that in the boxing ring and told him like that. Instead he should've somehow talked to his father one to one and told him and even Marcus. So the only problem in what Harvey did is that he should've told his father sooner and in a much better way but then again, his reason for being afraid to tell him earlier is completely correct.
Has anyone seen the movie ‘Mrs. Doubtfire’? Where a trying man lost his family because he was too playful despite life’s struggles.
Here Harvey’s mom chose to cheat on her husband and then blame Harvey for exposing her for the liar she is.
The comments under this video are incredibly obtuse.
Harvey isn't "the bad guy" for telling his Dad, and that's not what the show is trying to say. He's the bad guy for telling his Dad by punching him in the stomach twenty times, blaming him for not noticing what was going on, and screaming "BOBBY" in response to his Dad asking what Harvey's Mom was doing.
There is a right way and a wrong way to deliver difficult news to somebody. Harvey resented his Dad for not figuring it out on his own, because if his Dad had figured it out, Harvey wouldn't have to go through the painful experience of revealing it to him. And afterwards, Harvey goes no contact with his Dad during a devastating time in his life.
Harvey's Mom is responsible for cheating, but Harvey's actions are his own. You can't blame his mother for his own actions.
were you paying any attention 1. his father started attacking him 2. harvey told his father to leave him 3. fought back 4. gordon is no better he left harvey and was abusive clearing neglected him too
Dad: He's helping to get the old Mustang up and running.
Was he referring the Mustang to his cheating wife?
What session and episode was fhis please send me fhanks for ur help 🙏
I’m curious if he would do the same if he caught his father cheating
he would for sure
These happy ends do not like any sane person, a person who destroys the life of her children and destroys her husband and at the end everyone who was in this series forgives her and she is the poor.
😂😂😂😂 Harvey father was an idiot
The only one that disrespecting the family was her
While cheating on him with his so call best friend
It's not Harvey's fault
Harvey in a form hugging top. 😍

Jesus Christ, what a horrible therapist.
Shows like these are made to normalise infidelity.
Infidelity, toxic families etc. Most of what we consume in media just conditions us to like and accept terrible things and behaviors in others.
Sadly, infidelity is more normal than we'd like it to be.
