I bought the last physical copy of Victory Lap at Best Buy the day it came out, February 16th, 2018 I believe. Recently, I'm watching a lot of Hood vlogs on youtube, there I see the reality of these communities. Most of them don't have a direction in life, they don't have someone to guide them. They don't work, all day they talk about gang and how to become famous and buy expensive things. I felt sad while watching. Then, a RUclips recommendation popped up, a nipsey hussle video he did with complex. There they tackled the life in the hood and on how he expanded his business to help the community. The difficulty of building a business in the middle of the hood is no joke. I was inspired immediately by his works. This dude is not only building business, but he is also building a "hope" an example to his people. As a Filipino, I aspire to be like him. A person who helps his community.
