Ah come on! Go jump in the pool for us!! That big building is beautiful. The whole campground seems very pretty and peaceful. And looks like you have a great spot nestled in the trees. Glad he's fixing his brake light. Those are kind of important to have. Sure is a great trip you're on!!
A quiet few days here was just what we needed. No driving for 2 whole days 😉 The pool was very inviting but I didn’t make it in the water this time 😳 💙 Trev
It was a very relaxing few days. We need more of these sites. The site manager gave us the latest Les Castel brochure so that’s definitely something we’ll keep for future reference 😃👍🏻 Trev
Thank you both. We are releasing two videos a week for the next 2 weeks so that we catch up. The next one is out on Tuesday 😃 We appreciate your support and comments 😃🚐💙 Trev n Sue
Oh wow Trev and Sue. We reckon that’s your best site yet!! Stunning!! Must admit, with all the negativity of the club booking systems, you really hit the jackpot with this one We’ve never really considered booking through the system. France Passion, ACSI, Camping Car Parks etc etc. but you just can’t beat a site like that!! Wonderful!!
The Club certainly helped us well on this tour. I’ll do a review at the end and note this point 👍🏻 We certainly didn’t find anything at all wrong with this site. The beer was €6.50 so maybe that’s the only reason to stay on the coke 😂😂 Trev
Hi Trev and Sue, this looked a beautiful campsite and you deserve to have a lovely relax. Nice facilities. Beautiful views from the site. The pool looks amazing. Lovely photos at the end of the video. Take care x Julie and Tony x
Having just returned from France after 2 weeks. This is an ideal site, we left after 5 days only to return after 5 days and booked another 3 nights before returning home. Highly recommended. ❤
Just the odd thunderstorm which almost caught us out in Chalon en Champagne in our video next week. Summer in France is perfect, not too hot, not too cold 😉👍🏻💙 Trev
Another lovely peaceful campsite and the pool looked very inviting. However, I don’t think Sue should’ve been climbing on the chateau roof, especially after drinking that half pint of crème de menthe 🤣 Your Isabella awning is looking great, such a useful extra room for longer stays. Safe travels, cheers Debs x🍻🚐
Thanks Debs, I thought it was Joe on the roof at first 😂😂 Sue has been quite experimental with her beverages 😳😉 The Isabella Buddy weighs in at 27 Kg so it’s always a gamble whether to take it or not. We felt it was perfect for the 3 days we spent chilling on this campsite but apart from the mesh shade, this was the only occasion we used it on the tour. Glad we took it though 😃👍🏻🚐💙 Trev
Such a great video Trev and Sue looks a fabulous campsite and one you can do as much or little as you like I do hope Oscar is feeling much better now ticks are awful aren’t they? Such a relaxing place and hope you and Joe managed to play mini golf and the chess looked a good laugh also hope Joe got the barby out again! All the best to you all Daniel
Wow, yet another great site, so unique with the pitches laid out like that. I don't blame you for chilling out there. Looking forward to your ongoing adventure. Enjoy your time ;))
Thank you Stew. It was the perfect place to take time out. We just enjoyed the site and the peace n quiet. We had a long journey to our next site which is featured in tomorrow’s video 😃👍🏻🚐 Trev
Camping prices are generally lower but standards are too. We have felt that most offer good value but some overcharge for dogs and in their bars and restaurants 🤪 Just have be aware of what you are spending when you buy a round 😃🚐👍🏻 Trev
Hi Trev and Sue, could you tell me how the dogs cope with heat? We are looking to go with our dog next year and wondering what month will be best, thanks Sue
Hi Sue, We have found that coastal areas of Normandy France were generally fine in June. As we travelled south towards Brittany and Le Mans the weather became very hot outside above 25 C and humid. So it’s hotter in the van. We did our best to get shady pitches on campsites and used a Total Cool with freezable ice blocks and 12 volt fans. The same was true in south of France and Italy last September. The campsites generally open between May and October so early or late season would be better. It’s a constant job to watch the weather and be prepared to abort plans to go out or leave dogs in the van if you know the weather can change. We were extremely careful when visiting places so that we didn’t cause the dogs stress. Also check dog water bowl twice a day as they drink more. Thank you for your question. We will be doing a video on this subject soon. 🐕🐕😃👍🏻🚐 Trev
The camping looks very nice and the ideal place to relax
Sophie and Oscar seem to have opposite temper, both nice to watch
Oscar loves to play and explore and Sophie just wants to laze about and cuddle. They are so different 😃 🐕 🐕 💙 Trev
