I actually found this walk-through to be easier to follow than the training I received from ANSYS! Thank you and way to go.

Hello, the resolution of the base CAD tends to drop as default when imported into fluent meshing, as you can see in 5:02 (all those triangles are the resolution of the CAD mesh model, as if it had been tesellated). It is recommendable for you to set a tolerance parameter, for example 1e-6m or less, in the dialog box of the "import" command. This way, the CFD mesh that is built upon the CAD mesh model will encounter less geometrical issues, leading to a better formation.

Does not connecting rear wings to the chassis affect lift convergence plot for chassis?

Thanks for this very informative video
It will be really helpful if you provide the cad file of the model that you've used in this video only, named as reference fsae car,

I have the error 'Min aspect ratio less than 1'. Do you know what causes this issue?

    Thanks for the great help!
When i try to import ANY CAD AT ALL in Fluent 2019 R2 (tried all formats, restarted pc and reinstalled Ansys), i get the error "Error in CAD import" and this in the console: Error:
    Error in CAD Import
    Error Object: #f
    could someone help me out?

Did u extrude your 2d CAD and then import? If I'm not wrong, fluent only recognizes 3d bodies when u import

When I attempt this method of meshing I can get up to the compute volumetric regions part, when I try to compute the region however I get an error. There are no leaks or intersections I get the following errors
    'Warning : No regions computed.'
region-name number of baffles zone ids of baffles
    -------------------- -------------------- --------------------
    external baffles 7 (8 7 6 5 4 3 2)
Any help would be much appreciated!

@@williamm9088 well, i think i figured out how to continue with this. I tried to write and read the size field file. After this and computing volumetric regions, it worked as shown in video.

gabriel hasmann by read and write you mean when he exports the size field and then re imports it? Even after I do that it still doesnt work for my model

@@williamm9088 yeah! That what I meant. Oh, strange. Tomorrow I am going to work on this tutorial again and continues to do the meshing setting. I stopped on this point because I was falling asleep hahahaha asap I will try again and I write here what I will do
