- We spoke with Dallas Goldtooth, of Sioux Dakota Nation and an organizer for the Indigenous Environmental Network, about the protest against the Dakota Access pipeline. He called the protest a “movement out of love.”

Let's get power back to the native people of our country. These greedy corporate politicians aren't doing anything for the world or even their own people, we need a leader who is going to look out for not only the people, but the resources we take from our planet, and the respect we give to the world that allows us to thrive. Humans are failing each other and our planet, I'd like to see an end put to that.

The Indians must use the Constitution of the United of America to protect their properties and rights from the de facto government. maybe if they stop interrupting the pipeline, the pipeline might have a better chance of everything going smoothly without any accidents.

This "movement" is actually not a movement of "love" I live in the area and the protestors have been very violent. Locals in the area have taken to being armed just so when they get surrounded by a bunch of angry protestors while trying to go back and forth from home to work they have something to defend themselves with. The protesters have cut fences...blocked roads with burned out cars..chased after and beat people just trying to pass by to go about their business. Shot at police officers...tried to run people over with horses...the list goes on. The protesters no longer have ANY local support. Tribal Leaders from many of the Local towns around the area have been requesting that the outsiders go home because they are just causing too much trouble.
What can be more violent than the poisoning of major North American rivers and aquifers in the north central plains?
Keep the US dependent on foreign oil.
