I love the look you created with this pallet. I’m like you and tend to avoid too much red on my eyes. This pallet makes me think of Tom Ford Honeymoon…. Which I have and rarely wear. I’m thinking I’d rather have Tutu than this pallet.
I have ordered both quints as I can't pass up Dior. The look you created is beautiful. I think the key is a light hand when the colors are so pigmented. I am 64 and learned that keeping the lightest color on my mobile lid and using the rest in the crease and the side of the lid makes my eyes look larger.
This is a nice look on you! I am with you on the "looking sick or high" with these colors but to my surprise they don't look that way on you! I am going to get the mascara though because it looks like a fun color! Have a great weekend and sending love and hugs!
Abby I think you could throw a bag of soot at your eyes and it would still look good.I will give this quint a miss as I know they will look weird on me

It's so hard to tell how a shade will look on the eye unless we try. We have all been surprised at times. I purposely purchased Reflexion, Mirror, Mirror too, due to the Cranberry and Dusty Rose shades. I also have Red Tartan and Rosa Mutabilus from the Velvet Quints which are a dream. I have a rather pale complexion and do not wear foundation (only for special occasions), only some bronzer over the entire face when going out and I'm never afraid of these shades despite being the grand young age of 54yrs. Maybe it's the artist in me which causes me to experiment, yet never am I afraid to at least try a shade or do whatever I can to make it wearable. It's different when we can see that we really don't like the shades in a palette but we shouldn't be afraid of lovely shades due to not being familiar with them. I do hope you pick these up if you're able too, at the price they're selling for in the US, they're a bargain! They sell for US$85.06 each in Australia!🇦🇺💖

You are so imaginative to be able to do all 5 colours without looking like a stoned rabbit! Personally I can’t figure out who wouldn’t look like a rabbit with large amounts of red & pink all over their eyes. I wish red would “stop”. Thanks for your videos, I watch all of them except the fragrance specific ones as I’m not knowledgeable enough in what the nodes etc are so I just skip fragrance Friday’s.
Abby, I have to be honest and say that I was really disappointed with how you used this palette. The point is to test out the shades yet you started off virtually the same way as what you did with Mirror, Mirror. All I saw with this look was a blended bunch of brown, copper and that lovely gold. I was so hoping to see you either use the Dusty Rose in the crease or over most of the lower lid. It's such a stunning shade, yet you applied it in a way that didn't show off its beauty. The centre shade, which is absolutely gorgeous, could have been used to line the top or bottom lid if you were too afraid to use it like regular shadows. You can always cover it with the brown or remove it all together if it didn't work out but at least other viewers can see what it looks like. I've had my palettes for a week and a half yet haven't seen anyone game enough to use the two stand out shades. Look how well Red Tartan and Rosa Mutabilus sold in the Velvet Quints and I only heard one person, due to their complexion, that was weary of two shades in Red Tartan but still went ahead and used them anyway and they looked great. We won't know until we actually try. Colour outside the lines, think outside the box, enter unknown territory- it's what life is about! SO sorry I disappointed you. I am not a big fan of the reds/pinks on my eyes - so should not have even bought this quint. All of your suggestions are great and totally agree with you that life is meant to be be enjoyed and think outside the box. I bought Dior's Extraordinary Garden Eye Quint today which has the beautiful embossing all over but has those nice beige to golden shades with the deep brown in the middle. I did see a better view than the one photo Dior supplied which is why I went for it the moment it landed. I spoke to Dior today, only to find out there will be three (!) release dates throughout October, including the Holiday Collection, Backstage and Miss Dior!!! I just purchased the YSL Couture Clutch Palette today as well as two more of the Brique Mascara from Dior as I love coloured mascara. If you ever come across unusual shades in mascara, could you let us know? Abby, you can never be a disappointment, it's only the Aussie way of using the word that only meant that I had wished you had tried the daring shades.
