The submarine shown is certainly able to both operate ON the water, and also submerged. A friend of mine had one that got wrecked at the Hoddesdon Model and Railway Club.
I'm so glad Howard landed in a good place after leaving BRM. Next time you see him, tell him I'm still waiting for progress on his 10 1/4 class 47 he had planned
10:05 Lawrie, I am dissapointed that you did not note all the classes of star ships taking part in the Battle of Sector 001. 2 Saber Class 1 Defiant Class 1 Sovereign Class 2 Akira Class See me after class for detention. Bring snacks.
So many models with great diversity, the details are time taken is staggering. I've not done an airfix model for so long, maybe I should buy one to make But yes very few model trains or non military models which is a shame Love the models from Gerry Anderson TV shows, iconic I want one or maybe all of them
A lot of great models! Pocher cars are the best, but they are expensive in both money and place. Nice to see Modelu figures in this sort of show, I should soon get my order with the LMM crew (I hope that this package will arrive safe, as I never got the LMM RUclips figures).
We have a tank like the semi open mode at the Whitewebbs Museum of Transport. It just happens that I work in the room in which the tank models are kept.
1:23 Lawrie... Look at the models from the F1 Authentics Store. The models on there are a few thousand pounds. Though they are made by a company called The Amalgam Collection who (as far as I understand) buy the CAD drawings for the cars and build the cars with all of those details in. They are also all hand crafted. They do models all the way up to 1:4 scale which cost a little bit of money.
I was wondering if Bachmann were still producing trains in NG7, as they call it!! If so, I would love them to model the Volk’s Electric Railway in Brighton. It’s the world’s FIRST ELECTRIC RAILWAY, built in 1895, elongated to Black Rock in 1897 and has been used ever since!! I’m a fan of this short and early railway.
It’s wonderful to see two guys laughing together about the same thing!!
Loz is my spirit animal
He likes things, he doesn't know WHY he likes them... And that doesn't matter in the slightest!
Lawrie, Lawrie, Lawrie... you missed the two locos on display on our stand, just next to TMC...
Always a pleasure to see you. 😐
Top busy nattering to you, completely forgot to film sorry
@@lmm get your priorities straight.
@BuggleskellyStation next time I will completely blank you, but film that stand
This video brought me so much joy
This particular Spitfire Mk 1a is in a distinctive "Lawrie Lozenge Pattern". 😉
My favourite war bird, as they’re sometimes called, is the Avro Lancaster Bomber. My mother’s father built the internal frame for it.

1:00 I see Tom Marshall in the background, there. He makes some very good models.
@@RHTeebs thanks 😊 Lawrie 'helped' me pack the stand away. Took half an hour longer than usual...

Looked like an amazing show. 👍
There didn't seem to be much in the way of model boats, though.
Lawrie missed 2 of the 3 halls... 😂
@BuggleskellyStation Ah, that explains it 😆.
Thanks Tom 👍
