awesome video. I dont have a giant lathe so I wanted to see how you did the handle since I found one of these things buried in my yard and I've been wanting one for years. Looks like a sturdier work bench or something Hella heavy to clamp it to would help with the draw knifing. Maybe I'll use my porch railing or something.
Great video, thanks for sharing the details as you went along on the build. I wish I had some oak to make the handle like you did but I'll use a metal pipe. Cheers
I think the teeth on the square part are biting the wrong way. Just an observation. Good job though. The slipping that I see in the video is those teeth.
Head mounted cameras are hard to follow. If you would like to increase your followings go to a tripod mounted camera. You have provide good information but it is difficult to follow. I will still subscribe and like your page.
I have now built my own now thanks to the video and it works well cheers
You saved yourself a heap of time going with square. I think I will do the same.
Nice job!!!!!
Thank you

Hi , I am wounding how your can't has held up , and any improvements you can share?
Thanks for sharing this Tom
Holding up good. Needs to be a little tight curve for small logs but still working. Thanks
could you post a pattern online somewhere for the cut out shape for the hook?
Not gonna lie, i just cut one out of cardboard and held it up to a log to eyeball it.
