I think they are. I also think Sig p229/226 legions, and HK USP’s are relevant and good to have and carry. I’d take a Glock 17, Sig p226, HK USP over most modern offerings (except staccato).
I Appreciate all the effort you put into your videos and yes we are all expecting that day when we reach for those “prepper guns” which keeps guns like Glock relevant but i will also still have a sig 226 sao or even staccato with me until they fall apart
Glocks are definitely still relevant and will remain so, super tried and true and parts readily available and replaceable, Uber reliable platform, I been carrying Glocks for 12 years and will keep carrying Glocks, however I do also keep a staccato in my rotation of carry absolutely love that gun, can make one hole accuracy with both platforms… pick your poison.
Damn RUclips- this is the first time - I didn’t get a notification 🔔 even though I’m subscribed WTF!! 😳 Thank goodness for FB page!! Great entertainment 💯 and safety is paramount- 👍🏼 video!!
Are Glocks Still Relevant?!! Outdated but still relevant. Any gun that still does what it was designed to do is still relevant. But there are better options on the market. We are seeing a resurgence in revolvers that are outdated but still relevant also especially for pocket carry. There are benefits to revolvers that autos don't have especially reliability and given a real world five second gunfight capacity is not important since no one is going to get through a mag or cylinder let alone have time to reload but reloads are carried anyway just in case of that less than one percent chance of multiple threats and a longer gunfight. By the same token it can be considered that autoloader single stacks are outdated by double stacks but by the slimmer profile conceal better. So some guns have a place or purpose that only they can accomplish.
Better than old 1911 and thousands pray to the 1911 god all well and good but you draw a Glock under pressure. There are no buttons to push but the trigger 18 times if you like … that’s 3 revolver six shooters in one all the newer guns copy glocks I’ve never had one jam like the old 1911 If you send your 1911 to Wilson he will make it work for a lot of loot Glock please
They are still relevant but their fan boys need to realize they're not the only kid on the block anymore... Other guns work and work just as well. I'd take CZ or Walther any day over a Glock
Glocks may be old school but the gen 5 Glocks when it comes to a carry gun outperforms all others. No it's not a target pistol but at self defense distance it us very fasr
I too am a Glock fan boy...but a realistic fan boy...yes, gen 5 Glocks make great carry guns, but there is no way any knowledgeable gun person can agree that they outperform all others. I respect your enthusiasm and emotion, but I think you may have gotten a bit over excited with this hyperbolic comment. All that said, you are right, in that Glocks are great guns.
So says the troll who obviously didn't watch the video...I actually said in the video that they were relevant and would be forever, LOL. Next time, watch the video before typing out your silliness from your mom's basement....LOL
@@stevencline6827 Ha ha, of course you don't respect me...you saw the title of a video, chose not to watch it, but felt entitled enough to comment....I would say your opinion is a bit less than deserving of respect😎. What do you mean by "target gun?" If you mean that they are finicky competition guns, that are finely tuned for speed at the expense of durability and reliability, I'm afraid my friend that you are gravely mistaken. If you mean that they have way better triggers, and as a result are way more accurate shooters, then you are not wrong. These are all production guns that simply outpace (granted, most of them also out cost) Glocks....there's a reason that the Navy Seals chose the P226 for so many years.
Not relevant at all. Complete garbage made possible only because of expert marketing. Gluuck himself said it in court that it only cost him $64 and change to make one. If LE Agencies were not gagged by non disclosure clauses in their sales contracts, it would have been discovered decades ago, that they are plagued with just as many problems as the 320. If they were worthy of a place in history, Gluuck wouldn't tell LE Agencies that their pistols need to be replaced after only a five year duty period. Gluuck could never be relevant. No firearm developed by a yard chair manufacturer could be.
I am serious. Just like you know things about the dental world, we don't and eye doctors know about the glasses scam, twenty years of fighting to keep Gluuck out of my department, taught me a few things.@@DrTac

Great points. I am definitely finding myself carrying revolvers more frequently.
You should have a higher bench/table so you don’t completely disappear every time you pickup a new gun.
I actually had my assistant, who's a dwarf handing me the guns...😉 JK, I was saying that to myself throughout the whole video.
@@DrTacgawd yer a douche
Agreed re the slimline Glocks. I personally prefer thicker grips anyway.
It is absolutely still relevant, just like all other models of firearm. It's all about options and what people want to spend their money on.
Glocks are still relevant to me as I carry one everyday, either a Glock 26 or a Glock 19X. Great shooters both.
If yall gonna do ads pls a) keep them short and b) make them relevant to the video we clicked to see
That's why I put an indexed time-line in the discussion section, so you could zoom right past that stuff...gotta pay the bills😎
Smith Wesson had to copy Glock for their new pistol products
No argument here..but Glock 43/48 versions kinda copied Sig’s P365 family.

only if you are looking for a safe reliable and reasonably priced hand gun then yes. they are.
I only carry a 19 or 43x or 48 only gun i can modify into the perfect gun.
I get where you’re coming from with the 19…the other ones, not so much.

1911 style guns are old fashioned nobody copies the 1911 system they make a lot of clones Glock style please

I can appreciate your enthusiasm for firearms, but the information exchange is misguided and just awful. Please stop fleecing the fudds.
Please explain further...was there a specific assertion that I made that you feel was incorrect?
you take a fat magazine
Glock triggers suck ….so what it’s a self defense weapon not a target gun. Duh
Yeah, but if you can have a trigger that shoots faster and improves accuracy, why wouldn’t you? Most accuracy issues result from the trigger pull.
