I think the way everyone has been feeling is how Jesus felt. He wasn't self conscious about his image. Even if he felt forsaken, he knew how real and how big God is. He did it so that we can do it! We are overcomers because of Jesus.

Not going to lie. I did not realize this song was about God. I thought when they said "God" it was more of an exclamation of amazement. My thought was that this song was about a group of people who adored their friend, someone who took care of them and loved them too, but ended up dying and they didn't want to remember them in pain, they wanted to love them even if they were gone.
