The Jaguars couldn’t get it done despite multiple opportunities to do so. The Chiefs looked a little wobbly on offense, but a win is a win.

the jax need to run the ball more. After the first quater they somehow stopped run the ball. They had 4 oppertunitys to get 10 yards and they threw the ball 4 times deep. Im not going to lie. Our O keeps playing like it is we ain't doing anything. Their D did their job and gave us sooooo many opportunities. We did nothing with it. Offense has been trash. Supposed to be our strength. So far its held our team back. Tragic thus far. 9 points.....1st and goal on the 1 you get 3. Not going to cut it. Jags had the winning formula. Won the TO battle and very little penalties. Far more times than not you win those games.
The chief defense is scary good especially with Chris jones my goodness

Which is odd because the Chiefs have been doing a lot of good with their O-line acquisitions since/before Mahomes came. What a shame. I hope Chris Jones can get the contract he deserves.

I dont see the Chiefs being in full swing until game 4 or maybe game 5. Everyone is still adjusting to the new styles, Mahomes is figuring out his receivers range and how to play to them. An ugly win is still a win, lets hope they keep it going. Chiefs Kingdom!

The Jaguars had opportunities offensively to score down near the goal line, and they couldn’t cash in when they needed it. Credit that KC defense for not allowing Jacksonville to find the endzone. It hasn’t been pretty offensively these first couple weeks, but eventually they’ll get things going on that side of the ball

I love how the Jags consistently run it on 1&2 downs then throw on 3rd. Its almost like thats predictable or something. Why would you throw the ball more than 5 yards when you can run it for 2 and throw a screen for 3? Its not like Ridley, Kirk, or Zay can catch the ball or anything. Horrible play calling in both the first 2 games.
And on top of that, NOT EVERY TOUCHDOWN PASS HAS TO BE IN THE BACK OF THE ENDZONE

The World Champions get their first win of the season. Mahomes and offense still has some things to improve and no doubt in my mind they will. Kelce comes back and he once again makes an impact. He was definitely needed last week. Defense looked good on the road against a much improved JAX team. Congrats on the win KC 👍.

Thank god our defense was on it's a game. Jags couldn't do anything in the redzone but field goals. Glad to have Chris Jones back.
We played a good game. We just couldnt get it done in the endzone. One blessing and curse about trevor is he has gotten great at being careful and not turning over the ball. But all of those missed endzone shots makes me wonder if he led his receivers too far of if they all need some toe drag training.
It was a bare knuckle football game. Both defenses were good, but KC's defense made all the difference.
I seen this problem at his pro day I think it was he’s tall as hell and he over shoots them receivers in the redZone I think the chiefs just played him well and they executed but I think the jags will eventually beat the chiefs
Good observations. I think Trevor is not leaving his receivers enough room to operate in the endzone. Receivers gotta help Trevor but Trevor gotta help the receivers too. If he figures this part of the game out..watch out for the Jags.

It's Eric Bieniemy, and it's not the play calling. It's dropping passes, turnovers and penalties, and yes, some bad throws from Mahomes.

We need to run it in the redzone and throw it in the middle of the field. Not the opposite. Good defensive play but we should have stepped it up in the redzone. Our Oline was awful and we couldn't catch it in bounds. Not horrible but we need to step it up before we end up back where we were.

Trevor missed like 3 TD passes where the ball was not accurat. They threw the ball 4 times deep at the end of the game. The chiefs didnt had to defend against the run because the jax decided to stop run the ball after the 1. Quater. This game was something. Put some RESPECT on the chiefs defense name. Not allowing the Jaguars to get in the endzone each time they was close.
For the Chiefs Offense they started of slow, but was able to find a little bit of rhythm and they marched down the field. Could make a argument they would have scored more if it wasn't for the 5+ penalties/flags thrown on them by the refs which backed them up on Offense, and more flags thrown in the defensive side.

Man.. Trevor needs to really work on those red zone passes. If the kid can nail those the Jags could be unstoppable. The way the Jags marched down the field in the 4th was art. That's super bowl caliber field movement, just needed that grab in the end zone to really make it count.
