Whenever I start a new shipwrecked world, I always manage to find EVERYTHING ELSE in the world before the volcano, then dry season hits and I die in hellfire without ever seeing it...
here's a tip, don't use "The Lazy Explorer" and teleport into the pool of lava...Ya instantly become toast.

You forgot to mention this, but it may help. Use a purple grouper and wait for the meteors to stop. A purple grouper gives complete invinciblity on boats, so its bascically a bypass. And yes, this works with quacken to get free loot
Volcano: is a fiery moutaian with burnt trees, obsidian, and powerful dragons.
Willow mains: You sold me when you said

when close to eruption, during eruption, a little after eruption on volcano - it's *ultra overheating!* No item will help you cool you down there unless you hugging endothermic fire point blank
It's why I told folk to stay on top of appeasing The Lady of The Mountain if they planned on avoiding eruptions altogether!
@@TheBeard777 or just stay on the volcano when it erupts so you don't get hit by instant kill lava eggs or hop worlds till dry season ends that a even better option

I used to play Don't Starve so I looked up your videos for tutorials on the game, but since then I have stopped. However, I still watch your videos because they are that entertaining. Keep up the good work!
I know it is probably unusual to actually happen but you can also travel worlds, and craft a Weather Pain to break the obsidian boulder lol
You can also find the meteor staff surrounded by obsidian on random island ,but when you pick it up dragoon eggs will start falling.

You forgot to say that you can use Rainbow Jellyfish to locate the volcano since on New Moon they travel from the volcano towards the center of the map and when its day they return back so you can follow them.
Is this even true?

For those watching in 2020, first off ,sorry you had to live through this year. Secondly, if you want to use the altar of snackrifice, you will have to remain in the volcano throughout dry season, because if you leave the volcano, the delay will not work. Also, like the caves, if a crocodog attack was skipped, it will begin as soon as you leave the volcano. For this reason, special care should be taken when leaving the volcano towards the end of hurricane season as you might get a crocodog attack in conjunction with sealnado. Fair warning. If you can, you should make your main base in the volcano. It is the safest area. The dragoons are easy to dodge and will not follow you if they agro on you. Just clear out an area near the altar and bring some jungle turf and reusable resources and its smooth sailing.
I guess there's something to mention about being at the top of the volcano during a eruption:
wherever you are (in the volcano biome) the temperature will be 90°.

My volcano was in the middle of my map. I circled the entire map and couldn’t find it. I spent many many days searching for it and I finally found it almost dead center of my map. I play on PS4 so Idk if that has anything to with it or not. But I just wanted to let people know that it IS possible to have the volcano not spawn on the edge of the map.
It's more likely to be ok the edges but never impossible to be somewhere else

The volcano appears to have no opinion regarding fruits and vegetables (apart from shrooms - and I'm assuming that's because they can be used as fuel).
In my world where I am auctually succeeding, the Volcano is near spawn!!! Great volcano spawn.
Edit: Yea I died due to being smacked in the face by a boulder from the very same volcano. Oof.

Beard can you tell me what gear set to go when we need to give item to the tome? I use termal stone, umbrela, snake skin hat and instantly get 90°C after just 3 sec in there. Dry season is suck.
You must be entering the volcano when it is near eruption, during that time it is INCREDIBLY hot and pretty much nothing will help against it. It's why you really do have to stay on top of appeasing the Altar if you plan on visiting the volcano often.
Yeah, it almost tier 3 before eruption, so when the ideal time to feed lady montain then? Every 2 day?

Can you make a guild on boons? They are very cool and unique it would be cool if you do.
So when the event happens is it possible to find a safe zone and stay clear of the area that is happening??
The eruption essentially happens wherever you are. So while you can save your structures by making sure you're away from base when it erupts, you can't really avoid the area where the eruption occurs, since the Volcano seems to be actively targeting you. It's like Ant Lion's enrage, in that way.
What happens when your in the vulcano during dry season?
As long as you keep appeasement up and wrath down you can survive in it just fine!
