      You can use the “Spaced-Repetition” method to learn English 😊 There are many studies that show the benefits of this method. Here's a suggestion on how you can apply this method:
      Step 1: Create a list of vocabulary words you want to learn.
      Step 2: Determine the time to review that vocabulary
      - First review: after 1 hour
      - Second review: after 1 day
      - Third review: after 3 days
      - Fourth review: after 7 days
      - Fifth review: after 1 month
      The important thing is to always maintain perseverance in learning English

      Hi! Thanks for your question. To remember vocabulary better, try using new words in sentences and speaking them out loud. Make flashcards and review them often. Practice with a friend or write short stories using the new words. This will help you retain them longer.

  • @TheIronChinchilla
    @TheIronChinchilla 3 месяца назад +1

    This video is interesting to watch as a native speaker. I think the format of the video is good but using the phrase "in a way" or "though" like in the video is a bit unnatural. No one speaking casual conversation uses, "in a way". English is very concise. It would be more natural for an English speaker to use "but". If Anna asked me how my weekend was and I was Jack, I would say, "Hi, Anna. It was good but it rained most of the time."
    Anna saying, "I understand" is also unusual. A native speaker wouldn't say I understand to someone in that conversation. They would say, "oh, I see" or they could say, "that sucks". Maybe those phrases are too informal for this course? Saying I understand is such a weird response to what Jack said. It's kind of dismissive. I see that she's saying, "I understand" to communicate to Jack that she can relate to his experience with the rain ruining his plans but that's not what she should've said.
    Though is used as a reinforcement to your statement despite the circumstances. Jack was trying to enjoy nature but it rained. Despite the rain he still enjoyed being out.
    The question, "Why Jack couldn't hike as much as he wanted?" at 6:55 is not correct. It should be, "Why couldn't Jack hike as much as he wanted?"
