I had no idea what to expect when you announced you'd be doing this, but it's turned out to be something really wonderful and has become the highlight of my mornings. Even though we're watching from afar, I'm sure I'm not the only one who feels as though we're getting to be a part of something pretty special. And getting to see fellow subscibers find their "Average Joe" treasure, is like watching a family member triumph. Thanks so much for dreaming up this journey and bringing us along. Can't believe you're already half way. Safe travels and Blessings from San Diego.
Oh, YES!! It seems so long until they get down here in my corner, Georgia! Since they have to hit Florida, they will probably come up the cost of Georgia and miss me in Gainesville (northeast Georgia). I’m excited, anyway!! 😊
It never gets old watching how excited grown adults get when searching and ultimately finding the coffee you've hidden. It's like getting a glimpse of them when they were kids on an Easter Egg hunt. It never ceases to put a smile on my face watching these videos.
My husband doesn't even *like* coffee, and he was super excited to find it. 😂 The rest of us are coffee drinkers, and my mom is visiting next week, so we're all going to enjoy the heck out of it.
Train mechanics: the engine begins by BACKING UP ... this compacts the cars. Then, when the engine starts going forward, it only pulls the first car. ... then those 2 cars pull the third car .... and those 3 cars pull the fourth car, etc., etc. It is very easy for one car to pull all those cars.
You have GOT to be an east coaster when you have no clue about the Columbia River, the most important river in the Pacific Northwest. We love our region, think it's the most beautiful part of America. Sadie is becoming a RUclips star!
Awe, Sadie makes my day with her sweetness! I’m a grandma of 10 and love it when they reach this age of discovery…She is so expressive and bright! Thank you for sharing your adventures!
I love the kind and generous heartwarming atmosphere that you create, your kind, easygoing, warm vibe. ❤ I am absolutely obsessed with you videos, They are like a burst of motivation and positively that keeps me going. From your awesome Vlogs to those satisfying organizing videos, I cannot get enough. Your content seriously inspires me to stay focused and chase after my dreams.
I love the scenery as you journey across America. But I love Sadie more. She is such a joy to watch. So smart, curious, outspoken and just an absolute treasure.
It’s amazing that you are still breastfeeding. I has issues with my oldest and my youngest got sick which prevented me from continuing. I’m so happy your doing what others don’t.❤😊
Welcome to Washington. Be careful, you'll want to stay. Wish you had more time, and could visit......safe travels on your adventure!! Thanks for sharing, from Olympia, WA.
Another wonderful video. Sadie's excitement over everything is contagious. Love her so much. The family finding the coffee at the end was priceless. Keep up the great work & thank you for all you do.
THANK YOU for giving us grandmas out here more Sadie time ❤ she is so adorable 🥰. I know these daily videos are hard on y'all but I am loving them!!! Well done.
💚 Seriously, Cheyenne and Casper⁉️ I lived in Cheyenne as a 6 month old...and visited Casper many times. My 3 siblings were born in Riverton, where we lived til 1970, when we moved to the Central Coast of California. Congrats, WYO💚
I'm enjoying your 48 states in 48 days so much. As a coffee lover/drinker day an night this is awesome and I get so excited waiting on the every video. Safe travels today ! ☕☕ Cheers !
It is wonderful that you have the opportunity to travel across the US. Even better is that you take us with you. Such beautiful scenery. Amazing. Thank you!
Thank you for inspiring families to go on adventures and enjoy their lives! I’ve been watching you for years ever since you went to my country El Salvador and you’ve been an inspiration - during the pandemic we did some remodeling and all I thought about was -if they can do it, I can do it too! Watching you create a home in Panama is so inspiring and now watching you travel across country, making people smile and sharing your beautiful family, All I can say is God bless you! take care of your family and Sadie, so sweet, she is a joy to watch!❤
I am enjoying the journey with your family and soooo happy people like me have a chance at an amazing bag of EXPENSIVE coffee!! Thanks for being down to earth, hard working, hard playing and such a loving family and sharing that with us!! 🤗
The sun will set in Stowe, VT, at 5:47 today, October 27 and it will set at 5:58 in Maryhill, WA. The time difference between the two towns is due to the latitude: Stowe is at 45.6871 degrees and Maryhill is at 44.4654. I.e., because Stowe is a just over one degree further than Maryhill, the sun sets 11 minutes earlier. (FYI: Seattle is at latitude 47.00 degrees.) The other factor in determining times the sun sets is whether the location is east or west of the longitude used for time zone measurements.
I loved this video. I wish we had these weighted sleep sacks when our kids were younger. We started with weighted blankets when our son was about 17. It made a huge difference in his overall stress levels. The smore's had me grinning from ear to ear. It's such a short part of camping but will be so memorable for Sadie. Keep loving on that kiddo!
That would be the mighty Columbia River, it starts in the Canadian Rockies, runs through Washington and splits Oregon & Washington and out to the ocean.
I grew up In Washington.. I have many great memories camping with my family just like what you guys are doing out in the woods. That's memories little Princess will remember for ever.
84 is one of the most beautiful drives that I’ve ever driven. The is a Army Corp of engineers site, at The Dalles, Or. You can camp there. Absolutely, beautiful! It’s on the Columbia River!! Also, if you haven’t been to Astoria, Or, you need to. It is one of the coolest small towns I’ve ever been to.
Love this adventure so far! Me and my mom drove down from Vancouver BC to Portland Oregon to try and find This coffee. So glad you guys are having fun and congratulations to the lucky winners.
Hey guys. I rarely comment but I love you guys and your adventures. This episode was one of my favorites for many reasons! Just know that I follow y'all and love seeing the shared love and respect you have for your home in Panama but also you're natural home of the USA! Many hugs your way!
🦋 The video of that river is stunning, and the music you’re playing along while you’re showing. It is so beautiful. I thank you again for allowing me to be on this journey. It is a joy! Much love and many blessings to you all.
you were on the Colombian river most beautiful river I have ever seen....its go bad you didnt get to go to the Multnomah Falls right on the other side of the river in Oregon....I know this video is a few days out but its to bad you can't take Sadie to Powells books in Portland Oregon
I am sure lots of people will comment on this, but usually long trains like that have multiple engines. One in the front, middle and back, but only two conductors/engineers running this whole operation.
That is the Columbia River. The same one Lewis and Clark traveled to Astoria, OR and the Pacific Ocean. That is such a beautiful drive along there. I’m glad you had nice weather, as it can get really nasty at times! Jordan I understand how you felt when you were getting fuel. I have to chuckle when I hear people in the East complaining about “high” gas prices. Sadie was so cute cheering on Jordan while he was building a fire. Then throwing her little arms back to help her blow on it. 😂
It's cool to see you guys drive on a road that I have been on for years. I love that tunnel and that river drive is the best. I miss that since living in idaho. Whenever I go back to Oregon where I am from I realize how much I miss that drive
I live 40 me north east of Seattle. Bothell Mill Creek area. 2 years ago I lived in the foothills of Mount Rainier and Mount Saint Helens in you're close to the mountains and close to the Sea enjoy happy trails 😊❤
I'm loving this adventure with you 3 amazing souls of the land - you very well could be saving the world through your enthusiasm, joy of life and appreciation of nature. It is contagious! We CAN save this world, if we could all be like you. One person at a time
I love love love to see the happy faces of the people that find the coffee bags. Priceless! Oh and pretty soon in the most wanted list for the kindest and most amazing beings in the world, that little me knows. You Freaking rock!! I adore all you do!! ❤❤SADIE❤❤

I’m chuckling at your confusion over the river/lake! Over here on the west coast, we called that the Columbia river. 😂 It’s quite massive. Have fun in the PNW. ❤
Not a lake. The mighty Columbia River all the way to the ocean. You are driving the Columbia River Gorge. read up! My home is the Pacific NW! Most gorgeous! I miss it!!!
You guys are helping the economy. Ppl are driving using gasoline and maybe getting snacks. Ppl are breathing fresh air and also finding fellowship. Congrats to the new winners. I grabbed my chest when I saw you found the coffee. God Bless everyone.
Welcome to Wa. It is the Columbia river and goes all over Washington out of Canada. This is my home state just not close enough that I can make a grab at the coffee. So to make up for that I ordered some from the Vermont store maybe not the worlds most expensive but very excellent coffee.
The trains are that long because there are shortages in engineers a lot of them retired at the pandemic. there is actually an engine in the middle to help take what is a mile of cargo
I use to work at The Carson Mineral Hot Springs when I was in high school. About 5 miles from that campground. Now I live at the other border of Washington. We will see you on your way to Alaska next time.

Hi Jordan and Kaylee, We're from boise idaho and we just want to tell you that we didn't get to look for the Coffee telling the morning. You hid the coffee at the one on overland. The lady in there said, right after you left somebody grabbed the coffee. She also said it was before the video was even released..So I don't know somebody was following you guys or if somebody in the coffee shop heard You and Grabbed it. We are a loving all the videos❤ Thank you!
:( I think it's just too tempting for other people there on sight to be discreet or even not grab the coffee bag when they see it being hidden. I think this works best when the hiding is outdoors and/or with no one else knowing about it. Think like an Easter Egg Bunny! :)
Congrats to Dylan Barnett for being the first to solve the riddle! Enjoy your Average Joe!
No! You guys are right in my back yard and I wanna find it!!!
I already did. Sorry.
What was the answer? I would love to see the pics
Keep Smiling my friends ❤🎉❤
