My man went a little Vancouver Homer there at the end. The Stars are running 4 complete lines and I would take them over Canucks even if they somehow got Demko back. He won't be up to game speed let alone playoff speed and intensity.
Im not counting the Avs out, but I just dont see then winning 3 games in a row, let alone against Dallas(who potentially is playing the best hockey right now).
Colorado looks like they dont believe they can win.. they look frustrated and defeated already. I really hope they come out with some fire tonight and we see a good game but i dont know if it matters. If dallas was smarter in game 1 i mean this coulda been a sweep. I think its over tonight.
I've watched Carolina win two in a row to make it 3-2 with a home game coming up. The Bruins beat the Panthers last night to make it 3-2 in their series. You can't take anything for granted. I hope Dallas puts them away tonight.
The avs should have been swept. It wouldn't have mattered if all their players were available they were done as soon as the stars won game 7 against Vegas
I'm not counting out the Avs just yet. They still have more than enough talent to take this series to game 7. I fully expect them to come out tonight and just blow the Stars up in their own barn.
@@wyattmays7341 I think the Stars have them figured out, but DeBoer will just randomly get super conservative with his coaching and it can cost them the game if he does it tonight.
@@TheGravySeal69 you’re not wrong, the stars can be conservative and sit back on their leads and have in the past, but look at the VGK series. VGK put on a very tough defense that initially shocked Dallas for two games, then Dallas learned and other than game 6 where the game was super tight, they learned their lesson and never looked back, out playing Vegas in all 4 wins, now to Colorado, Colorado for the first two games showed that they are capable of scoring when they want to on most teams, well for those first two games Colorado gave it their all, but Dallas learned the lesson there too and games 3 and 4 colorados offense has been non existent because the stars can play in all three zones and Colorado only likes to play in 2
@@wyattmays7341 DeBoer has been awesome at making the right adjustments and line pairings that compliment each other, especially when injuries happened (tonight we'll see what he does with no Hintz) and he has figured out how to neutralize the stars on the Avs. The loss of Toews and Val really hurt them, too. Bednar didn't seem to know what to do in game 4. Toews is back tonight and with Hintz out, this might not be the end of the series. Granted Dallas has depth that can step up, but I just have this nagging feeling that the Avs have a game plan that's going to put the Stars on their heels. Or maybe the Stars come out overconfident. Or maybe I'm just in a doomer mindset because we don't normally see this type of pro sports success in Dallas after the turn of the millennium. I want to be confident going in to tonight's game knowing the Stars will put the Avs out to pasture, but I've been burned too many times. Looking at you Cowboys...

Right? 😂
Good breakdown. Go stars!
About time A.Matthews found his Montreal hat.
Great takes on the Stars.
Dallas has 4 solid lines

Nichushkin is miles better than Rantanen whose been invisible all season. Guy gets a lot of hollow pts and is never noticeable
Thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you for bringing to news content and sports content live
Big D is on a completely different level. Should already be over for the Avs.

Even the superstars get mismatched, you could see it clear as day. They just aren't that great now are they
Canucks????
OVERTIME...DALLAS WINS ON PENS

They would have to force the play in Dallas’ zone for three periods straight to even have a chance
