I happen to have a Learning Disability do have problems reading, writing, not understanding some things, Don't socialize to well, Do have anxiety.
Two days ago, I got diagnosed dyscalculic. My life makes sense now.
I understand that feeling. Since I was diagnosed with dyslexia recently, I compared my difficulties with the signs n symptoms of dyslexia and I feel like I got the answer I was looking.
I think I may have learning difficulties/disabilities. So I need opinions?
• I struggle a lot with math
• I find it hard understanding tasks in school
• I don't tell my teacher when I struggle understanding
• I find the simplest of tasks in school difficult
• don't socialise too well
I am being completely honest and need your options
Do I have learning disabilities/disabilities or don't I?

People with learning disability (“LD”) have struggles with daily living like not being able to manage their toiletting needs (cannot wipe the bottom clean) or self-care or cooking or shopping or a manage a budget or travel. If you have no struggle with basic daily living tasks like those mentioned, then you do not have LD, though you may well have learning ‘difficulties’ in UK but then in USA learning difficulties are called learning disabilities. In short, all depends on where you live.
U might be suffering with dycalculia get urself checked for it , its like dyslexia but with numbers maths is a real challenge for dyscalculics. You will get extra time for ur exams / assignments if u do have dyscalculia.
Get tested.
I have learning disability. My real challenge in my junior year of high school is geometry. I'm going to give it my all in trying to pass it.

I can't stress enough the importance of early intervention. In my case I have dyscalculia and a type of dyslexia. It took trudging through high school with Math and being in my fifties in college to discover that I have learning disabilities. I was still able to graduate college with a Math waiver and a 3.24 GPA.
Same here-I barely got by in high school math, and it took me struggling in a college math class to get help and be properly diagnosed. It changed everything once I understood why I was having so much trouble and could learn tricks to compensate and get accommodations based on my needs!
I have a learning disability , it's no joke I have problems with comprehension , I can't remember things for a long time . People thanks I'm stupid but I'm not I just comperhend stuff a little slower then everyone else but I do get it .

I have LD. Math was the easiest subject, but reading was hard for me.
same, I have dyslexia and really struggled with reading and spelling, etc but math has been the easiest subject. While my other GCSE grades such as English were low, my math grade was very high.

So what are learning disabilities, well the term learning disabilities is kind of like a blanket, because it covers a number of different disorders, learning disabilities affect how a person takes a verbal or nonverbal information, how they sort, organize and retrieve that information, their ability to remember it and even their lever of understanding, peolple who have learning disability can struggle with spoken language, listening, speaking and understanding, reading and writing can be a challenge and math can be a real hard stone to move and just like how people's taste in fashion can range from socks and sandals to high fashion on the catwalk, learning disabilities can also range in their severity and how they affect people, many people with learning disabilities are very intelligent even gifted with the right help they're able to learn just as well as enyone, the alarm bells ring and the red flag is raised that someone might have a learning disability if they need a unusual amount of effort and help to be successful or if they are unexpectedly underachieving at school or work the impact of having a learning disability and the challenges that often come along for the ride including attention, organization, social skills, anxiety and other can change as a person goes thought life from school to home to soccer practice, every person with learning disabilities is unique and remains unique is they travel though life

I have a mild disability hahaha people I just figured out that people in elementary should be finding about there self. I am in high school and the transition class I am in I look around and notice we all act like ten year olds I was the only one that figure it out why I am like this. And that could understand
the visual examples given are learning difficulties not disabilities. They are governed under the disability act but are still different.

I have trouble understanding things such as math. I swear when my math teacher is done doing a lesson I have trouble understanding it and most of my classmates already understands it
