Yazidism is a purely oral religion which is influenced by many other religions like Zoroastrianism, Sufi Islam , Christianity and Hinduism so some call it Syncretic religion.
Yazidism is a monotheistic religion practiced by Yazidis considered by its adherents to be oldest monotheistic faith.

Knowledge is passed orally when it is in danger. Many Vedic knowledge was passed mouth to mouth in many Brahmin families during dark age of India.

Yazidism is a very special religion. There's nothing associated with other religions. Every religion has its own concept and theory.

After visiting Lalesh in Duhok of Kurdistan and seeing their Religious traditions, I didn't see any difference between ourur Sanatan dharma and theirs. Much of their Religious customs are same as ours. In my view they are the part of our religion but only difference what I felt was we are advanced with different religious books where as they don't. Some of the facts shown in the slides I don't agree with the history as I feel they are tampered to suppress the facts of this very religion. In fact Yazidi religion existed for before Islam.

Yezidis following ancient south indian Siddha religion "Aseevagam" , a Nastika Philosophy of Samana/Sramana Dharma. They worship Bodhisattva siddha Lord Murugan/Karthikeya . Later they added some religious culture of other religions like islam, christian, judaism , sufism , zoroastrianism etc........
Sramana philosophy is Jainism

Yazidis are close to Hinduism as part of broader Aryan culture. Temples, its gate, design, icons...peacock and snake, worshipping of fire, etc are Hindus parts, and same are Yazidiz's. India once upto Persia, some parts of Central Asia, Afghanistan, etc. Everywhere Sanatan Hindu cultured prevailing. It's the Muslims who gave a deep cut to Hinduism in these areas.
