- Some people raised concerns about why am I not getting Excellents everywhere and why do I let the meter bounce off the top, so I want clear up some things about this video, and how this minigame works.
When a level is started, there's about a half second delay, before you can press the NOW! button to attack, which often made me having to wait until the meter hit the top first and then came down, most often happening at higher speeds.
For hitting Excellents; those animations are often longer than most others at Great or Good, and it doesn't matter at all which attacks are used to bring the enemies to 0 HP. So, if an Excellent would have killed the enemies, but a Great one does it too, I might have chosen that instead, if the other animations would have taken longer.
However, it is possible to luck manipulate both the position of the target on the meter and what animations would Kirby do, so it might have been possible to save a few frames, but this is one thing I didn't bother doing, since the video would've taken exponentially more time to make.
Also, you can fight Galaxia in chapter 4, but you have to beat said chapter first, and this was a fresh playthrough. • Galaxia in Kirby Quest

Indeed, they are packed with so much references to the Kirby series, especially when I saw the kirby anime characters like Escargoon and NME Salesman, I'm all like: "Yep, this game is dedicated to the Kirby fanbase."

Yeah a lot of kirby games seem to have fantastic minigames. 64, Robobot and Deluxe's minigames are so much fun as well.

Dyna blade, The Tankbot, His Kabuki attire, Superspicy Curry, Laser Kirby, Gators, Chief Kawasaki and Chief Shiitake, Moto Shotzo, Galaxia, Meta Knight, Blade Knight and Sword Knight, Capsule J2, Dark Matter and Dark Matter Swordsman, HR-D3, *Escargoon*, Daroach, The attack that looks like the Megaton Punch, Every "Great" attack references a copy ability and Rick, Co and appear on the game over screen, etc.
Kirby Star allies gave you DLC Marx and Gooey. And the Evil Kirby face on a menu screen. Congrats
And that was a full game thats supposed to last 5 hours or so. This was a minigame that lasts 12 min. Take a seat and think objectively fanboy.

There's Brobo from Kirby's Block Ball as a stone thing. Gryll with him too. Dyna Blade shows up in the overworld of the first world. Level segments in Dream Friends are entirely unique and callbacks to past games for each friend. Dark Matter is basically a villain in the game. Sword Knight is a generic enemy and is there too, as well as Chef Kawasaki. Star Allies has Coner from the originals.
For a minigame that lasts 12 minutes, it really is impressive how much gets done in it, gotta agree with you there. I'm just saying the entirety of Star Allies has alot more references then this small subgame. Not to mention all the remixes in Star Allies.
This is all stuff I can just list off the top of my head. There's all kinds of neat references in the picture pieces, as well as stone transformations. Vividria has a sculpture that is literally Susie depicted as a greek godess. Dark Nebula is a stone transformation, too, in his signature treasure chest from his game.

I thought you were going to show kirby using the galactia sword. You obtain it after you defeat defeat dark matter, the final boss. Kirby uses it occasionally when you get an excellent
I think because it's an extra battle you have to go through, it might actually be slower if you tried battling it. However, it DOES one-shot the final bosses, so I'm not too sure.

Also, Galaxia only shows up if you never miss an attack AND has cleared chapter 4 at least once before. This is clearly a fresh playthrough, hence no Galaxia battle.
This minigame basically canonizes the anime.

I'm actually thinking of making some scenes in some of those stories I write where characters from my imagination team up to defeat enemies with a variety of freaking cool-looking attacks.
