I failed JEE Advanced in 2018 in class 12th could not make it into IIT. Took a drop and failed JEE again in 2019. Entered tier 3 college. Gave GATE in 2022 to try and get into IIT failed again. Gave GATE again in 2023 and failed again.Then in 2024 gave IIT JAM Exam cleared it with AIR 32 and got selected in Masters program in IEOR department of IIT Bombay. I will be joining there this July.

I've a gut feeling that Vaibhav gonna get AIR 1 in season 4 as a repeater so much like Dungara Ram Chaudhuri did it in 2002, although he was not a repeater but a dropper. The percentage is very low but as it is a real life canon event, Netflix can take a shot.
Vaibhav acting looks so real. Vaibhav was late for the exam and was in very panick, like he reached at 1 min before the gate closed. In such panick mode it is obvious that he wouldn't score much . Also he was busy in teaching vartika rather than focusing on himself, if iit is the goal then the person should never fall in love or focus on too much helping others. If this two things wouldn't be there vaibhav would get selected i am sure

Reason can be that the start of exam was horrible for Vaibhav since he went to the wrong centre initially and barely made it to the right centre on time....this drained him of energy reqd to solve tough questions of advanced....not because he was underprepared.

This scene makes me feel nostalgic of my Kota days. That result day of jee , feeling of being a complete failure... and in reality no one is with you on that day like Jeetu bhaiya but never gave up still trying my best to achieve best in life and learnt a lot from that failure. I cried so hard seeing this. I too went to kota studied gave mains then advance and was not qualified. The pain, fear for future and sadness that you feel when you are the only one who was not qualified in your friend circle is too real. I am not even sure if I should take a drop as iss baar nahi hua to agli baar bhi kya hi ukhad lungi aur fhir vo relatives ka ki LADKI ko papa ne kota bheja aur dekho hua to vaise hi nahi itna to harare beto ne ghar se kar liya vala face . But I am not ready to stop and let go of my dream. I am literally confused and fell tired and hopeless.
The first 4 episodes were very average but the 5th episode really did a lot of damage control. The way they built up the tension towards JEE advanced, the exam, the result, the reaction everything was on point
