My family found my doppelganger working at Costco, and took his picture. I sent the picture to my dad saying I got a new job, and he literally couldn't tell we were joking with him!
I had long hair at the time, and I sent a pic to my parents that I found on Facebook of someone that looked like me but with a shaved head, they thought it was me.
I once read that there is at least seven people in the world who look just like you. It's kind of amazing to be able to actually meet a doppelganger. I imagine it being a very surreal experience.
Probably more than 7. I once had a doppelganger of me at my same university. And at that same university I found a doppelganger of one of my friends. It was surreal not knowing if you were talking to someone you closely knew or a complete stranger.
whyjordie Some genetic test companies, particularly those whom serve commercially, create fictional percentage scores (not even a proper form of genetic quantification) for political reasons.
Because that final test isn't comprehensive and likely mitochondrial, most other things get a bit too complicated after a few generations because so much of DNA isn't unique enough. From a mathematical point of view the most distantly related people alive today would be only 60 generations apart. I mean over 2000 years is approx 80 generations. Total human population ever is estimated at 107bil over 50,000 years. 1 person for just 30 generations would have (aka approx 750 years) would have just over 1trillion spots for ancestors (parents, parents parents, etc) which is a huge number more than people who've existed. It's just feasibly and mathematically impossible for people to not have family tree's that branch in on themselves numerous times and for everyone to not be related.
I'm British but lived in Korea for a couple of years. After a few months there, strangers began starting conversations with me as though they knew me, a few people hugged me in bars and then finally a Canadian girl I knew came over to me and said that she'd kept seeing me on the bus and thought I was ignoring her. Then she'd realised it wasn't me at all. It turned out the doppleganger was British too. I saw her out in a bar one night and we stared at each other for the longest time from across the counter while our friends all pointed and laughed. It was like looking in a mirror. We never spoke though. It turns out that she hated having a doppleganger!
i know identical twins that try that.. everybody has a differnet personality and talks different at first glance maybe but when you talkin to em its easy to tell
Actually Doppelgängers exist bc there’s not enough genetic material in the human genome for there to be over 7 billion (or even 1 billion) uniquely different looking ppl... at any one point in your life there is at minimum 1 person who looks exactly like you (minus things like tattoos, scars, body modifications, etc)- as a teen I found 5 doppelgängers (including a set of twins)! One of my doppelgängers even went to my high school! I never met her (went to a huge school and she was a couple of grades below me) but our photos in the year books look like we are twins 👯♂️ One of my friends told me about her, so I went to the yearbook and looked - and the picture of her could be a picture of me!
They look nothing alike. They just did their hair, makeup and clothes similarly to accentuate the similarities for clicks. 'Twins' don't need to do any of that to look alike. Their entire facial structures aren't similar at all. Their eyes, noses, cheeks and foreheads are completely different.
I used to always get confronted by people saying they saw me at parties, the sidewalk or a concert. It was always infrount of my bf. Ha. Apparently my doppelganger lives close by and has more of a life than I do!
Amanda Sheep same here! I get messages from people saying they've seen or met me at places I know I wasn't at, so my doppelgänger must live near me... THERE CAN BE ONLY 1!
i was approached by a US soldier, stationed in germany, about 4 years ago & she kept calling me amber, even though i'm nina! then she explained i looked just like her friend which is totally true! :o that was weird. :'D also: i look like some famous metal singer! :D
Apparently, so does mine! Someone thought they recognized me at traffic lights, but when I started talking, he realized I wasn't the right guy. My mother also thought she saw me walking down the street near where I live, at a time when I was definitely home, sleeping. I hope the guy doesn't have enemies. o.O
Trakker I know that words cross over and i know that fact, but i didnt know the word doppelgänger is one of them.. so.. just let me find it funny..? thanks :D
Apparently, I look like two other people. In my hometown, I struck up a conversation with someone that later admitted, "You look like this person I know. I only knew you weren't her because you didn't recognize me." (I've also had random people come up to me in the store going "Oh hey! How are you doing?" like they know me.) Several years later I worked with a girl that people jokingly called my twin. I worked morning shift, she worked night shift. Customers could come in, start a conversation with me in the morning, and try to finish it in the evening with her and didn't understand why "I'd" forgotten. Even my mother once mistook her for me.
They look nothing alike. They look like your basic, a little posh, girl. (So they basically look all the same..) One has a more round face than the other.
@@lilDaveist I have seen twins where the face looks just a hair different than the other but it doesnt mean they are not twins. These two girls look very alike.
That last test doesn't mean much. You think people from Syria never travelled through Western Iran? And the 20,000 years ago thing... most people will have some genetic connection if we're going back that far. This says nothing.
Do you know what a Haplogroup even is? Haplogroups are groups of haplotypes, and haplotypes are specific alleles inherited from an ancestor to descendants. The fact that they’re from different haplogroups belonging to different regions, means that they have different sets of alleles or different gene expressions, it means they’re distantly related.
@@laserfan17 Haplogroup, and in particular mitochondrial Haplogroup like this, _only track_ your maternal lineage. This is the neat fact of haplogroup, as we know from which parent we get them it allows a degree of certainty that no other genetic marker has. No joke, I actually met my dobbelgänger when I was on a class trip 8 years ago. His class mates and my classmates freaked out, he used glasses though.. Wish we took picture or something.
@@litchtheshinigami8936 yeah like they really look alike but you can see that they are different their lips, teeth, nose, eye area(like under the eyes) are different but really close
if it were your family member you would be able to tell the real one even more easily i can actually tell the difference between my 2 twin brothers after just a glimps
It sounds like they took a mitochondrial dna test which only tests their direct maternal lines. They should have taken an autosomal dna test which could show if they are related in other lines.
yup, mtDNA and yDNA only tell part of the story. atDNA (autosomal) gives a bigger picture. the info on the haplogroups were also super generic and misleading, as varieties of H and T most definitely overlap to where gene-flow would have definitely happened.
My friend one day send me a girl from his tinder match, literaly other side of the earth. I showed the girl's picture to both my dad and mom. They were like, "Where did you take this photo", "When did you buy those clothes and where are they?". We couldnt believe our eyes that how much she looked like me.
I use to work as a cashier about 4/5 years ago for a little over a year . There's this one day I'll never forget though , I did not have the luxury of meeting a doppelganger but I did meet a woman who was at one point a mother to someone who she claimed I looked identical to . It was the most surreal interaction I ever had . The store is almost always busy but that day at that moment it's almost as if the universe had it planned that there would be no noise or no distractions for me . Its mandatory for cashiers to look around & see if you could help any customers but I was on my phone since I noticed hardly anyone was walking by & I got that 6th sense that someone was looking at me . I got scared cause the last thing I want is for a manager to see me on my phone , immediately put it away & looked around & saw a lady standing at the end of the conveyor belt that moves the items up . She was giving me a cold stare which isn't unusual for customers in that store to do (people with drug problems tend to shop there & give you weird looks) so I do the typical routine & ask if she would like any bags . She answers no , her voice cracked . Im scanning the items but not as fast as usual , I was thinking maybe she isn't in the mood since she saw me on my phone and that she's likely going to report it to my manager or something . So to compensate for my lack of attention when she first got in my line I ask if she's doing alright to alleviate any tension in the air . She says, "yeah ... you just look just like my son" & I try to make conversation & say, "oh , how old is he" & she tells me "he would have been 30(something I cant remember the exact rumber)today" . She continues to tell me how he had died 17 years ago & I tell her I'm sorry for bringing it up . She told me it was okay cus it feels like she's talking to him by talking to me . Her eyes were watery but I could tell she was holding the tears back . My heart broke , I didn't know what to say or do . I had finished her order , she had paid & I gave her the receipt in hand but she waited for 2 seconds & then walked away . Looking back at it I believe she wanted me to say something else before she walked away . Not long after the interaction, the store went back to being loud & busy . She gave me her name but I don't remember it , I just wish I could meet her again & give her a hug 😔
I've always wanted to create an app that finds your doppelganger all around the world, whoever uses it. By using face comparison, measuring, and a voting system etc etc I don't have all the science down but I think it's a great idea! I would name the app "Doppleganger" clever right lol
This is already a thing ! It's a website called Twinstrangers. But I think it isn't free so that reduces the chances of your doppleganger being on it... :/
Years ago, I went off for a 3 day weekend class to learn about wiring a house for electricity. When I got home my wife slammed down the newspaper from that Saturday and there I was, on the front page, dancing and having a grand time at a Reggae festival. It wasn't me in the photo but I could never convince my wife of that.
I was around 28 years old and was walking along a fairly busy main road in my home town of Liverpool UK, one summer afternoon. Coming towards me were a couple of youngsters, a boy and girl around 8 years of age, further back were two adults, a man and woman who I guessed to be their parents. As I passed the boy and girl I became very aware of their "puzzlement" at seeing me, they were both staring at me as though they knew me. I kept walking and then the two adults got closer. I was shocked by how much the man resembled me. Actually I should say more than resembled me - we were doubles of each other. Both he and his wife were staring at me in some kind of disbelief. None of us spoke and we all kept walking onwards. I was beginning to realise I had just met my doppelganger and after a few more minutes I dared to look back. The family group were also looking back at me. I hurriedly turned away and kept walking out of embarrassment I guess.. I often think about that time and the uncanny resemblance of the unknown stranger to me.
Years ago I was shopping and saw a really good friend of mine....ran up and gave her a big hug....and imagine my embarrassment when she told me she wasn't my friend. I stood back, stared, and just laughed. It was unreal how much they looked alike.

If I ever found anybody similar to me, I would probably punch him on the face, I will not allow another one that looks like me just to get away with so much awesomeness.
35 years ago, I was shopping in a grocery store over 2000 miles from where I was born and raised. I had moved for employment. Well, a guy came up to me, called me by name and asked how my parents were. I did not recognize this guy at all. He then asked how my dad's garden was doing - my dad was an avid gardener - to which I responded growing enough to feed a small country! He asked where my folks were going on vacation - they had planned a trip. I finally asked him who he was (I was a bit embarrassed to because he "knew" so much about my parents) and when he told me, I told him that I did not recognize the name nor him. He was blown away as apparently he/his family were well acquainted with the person he thought he was speaking to. When I explained where I grew up, who my parents were, he was floored as he said that I looked exactly like the person he thought I was and to top it off, we both had the same first name. I never met that person but wish now that I had.
Reported onboard my second ship in 1992 and was almost thrown in the brig for being AWOL. Even after I showed my ID, I was told that was a fake and now I’m really in trouble. EVERYONE on board that I came across for the first week kept saying ‘Hi Bish’. Had to convince everyone I was not him. Then after a month the real Bish actually tried to report back after his unauthorized absence. I was told he was on the gangway and should go see him. I RAN to see him face to face; I got there just to see someone being put in a van by shore patrol. Never did see his face.
I have had people tell me several times that they saw someone who looks so much like me that they were sure it was me, but it was not. This year after doing DNA I found 6 siblings I never knew I had including a brother who looks almost my twin, except for him being thinner than me. To say I was blown away would be an understatement.

Apparently me and my brother have doppelgängers. One time we were out at an amusement park and two strangers stopped us and asked if we were so-and-so. Apparently we looked exactly like two of their friends. They showed us pics and the similarities were striking.
Hi Alexandra, thanks for the comment! Amber and Maddy described their bond like 'twins separated at birth'! ***** Yup! I actually am aware of that! I study medicine, and part of it was a genetics course so I also know a thing or two. I think it's great that when I see a pretty flower I can say "hey, I'm actually related to that flower" and similar stuff. Unfortunately there are some people who will never accept the fact that they got a lot of stuff in common with such "low beings", as they would call animals and plants. But yeah, it's amazing :D
I was at a hospital and a kid sent his father across to get my autograph. He was convinced I was Carl Fogarty. In a phone shop a month later, the shop guy congratulated me on my latest win!
My Dad gets this with Charlie Daniels all the time. Every time he goes on vacation, strangers ask to take pictures with him, and won’t believe he’s not actually the singer.
One day when I was in high school, people were running up to me saying there was a new student that looked like my twin. I mean, people were really freaking out about it. Strangely, although we were a relatively small school, I didn’t cross paths with this guy for a couple of days. I just had endless people coming up to me and going on and on about this boy that looked exactly like me. Finally, as I was changing classes one day, a couple of my friends came running up to me, dragging my “twin” by the arm. Since they were out of breath, they had apparently been running to find me. They just stood there, looking at me and then to my lookalike(and vice versa) only saying..”Here he is!” Apparently this “face to face” had been planned as a crowd of my classmates had gathered around us in the hallway to watch our reactions. Needless to say it was extremely awkward. It was like a scene from a bad teen movie. We stood there and looked at each other for a second before almost simultaneously declaring..”Pfffft! He doesn’t look like me!” Apparently neither of us could see it...but that didn’t deter everyone else. Interestingly, over the course of time, we actually became good friends. Unbelievably, when I took a new part time job, he replaced me at my previous job. It was a small town but it’s still pretty amazing how much confusion that situation created. Lol! We learned to roll with it and often played along to further their head scratching. Cherry on the cake... One night, I got pulled over for having a blown tail light. The officer said “Why aren’t you driving your red VW” (my lookalike’s car) 😂
George Smith I was there...one of the people who supposedly “gathered”. Well, we did gather...to tell you that you two look like half sisters who look nothing like each other, except when the sun hits you at the right angle 3 minutes past noon on the 3rd Tuesday of April. Actually the 1st day of April. Keep jamming George!
I met my doppelganger at camp. We looked EXACTLY alike, we were the EXACT SAME AGE, we we're both born on March ninth, 2004, I was born at 11:32, she was born at 11: 37. What are the odds?
I thought that at first but looked again realised that their eye shapes are different, it's just that the eye makeup is the same giving them the same look so wonder how they would look without the makeup.
WRONG analysis, Haplogruop is FEMALE Exclusive line. It your female (mother, maternal grandmother, etc) line only. Many of your other ancestors could be same.
My thoughts exactly. A large proportion of Europe comes from only 7 women. Im sure it’s the same everywhere. At some point the gene pool got really small
It would be interesting for these two girls to have their faces laser scanned and measured to see how dimensionally similar they are or whether it is the eyes/brains of we viewers fooling us in to seeing similarities. Crazy.
There was a guy who looked just like my Dad. He even dressed the same. You could only tell that it wasn’t him if you were close because they had a different eye color. I would occasionally see him after my Dad passed away and it would scare the crap out of me. The worst was when I was at a local store and went around the corner and came face to face with him.
I suspect I have a doppelgänger that lives close to me because a lot of people come up and call me Myrna or ask if I was at the gym kicking the water vending machines...
Ladies, haplogroup only determines common maternal lines. You could have the same father, grandfather, great-grandfather etc. but if you had different mothers you could have different haplogroups. Having different haplogroups DOES NOT mean you can't be related
That's the point. If the person they are related through was male then it wouldn't shop up in a haplogroup relation test. If you only do a haplogroup test it would tell you that your paternal grandmother isn't related to you since the relation went through your father.
One of my brothers met his doppelganger a couple months ago, the resemblance was so striking that both guys just stopped and looked at each other for a moment, and at the same second asked each other's last name. The weird part is, it's the same last name. True story, hand to god.
With a 1/93 chance of being half-sisters, you certainly share a great-grandparent or great-great-grandparent at some point, otherwise it'd read more something like 1/25000. Testing for haplogroup only will tell you if you share a matrilineal ancestor, it won't tell you if you're related or not. My son has a different mitochondrial haplogroup from me, which is entirely normal and expected (you get this one from your mother).
Note the probability aspect. Everyone shares DNA to an extent, due to the fact that these two share so many genetic traits they have a possibility of being related. However if you go further back it shows that their families, at least not the ones that eventually lead to their birth, have not intertwined, not at all recently anyway. I have a doppelgänger in Germany (I live in the US) and I can guarantee that I am not related to her due to the fact that I have not had relatives in Germany for hundreds and hundreds of years. In a way it’s like when you breed animals. You would think that a breed would descend from 1 or 2 specific animals, but to get those animals you have to do something called selective breeding, you choose the dogs, cats, etc. with the traits you want and breed them until you eventually reach the exact kind of animal you want. This can be repeated again and again if needed to avoid over breeding. The point of this is, completely none related people can have very similar DNA because that’s how genes work. These girls both have the recessive genes for blue eyes, they have brown hair which is a dominant gene, they both have very similar skin tones, maybe even identical but the one looks as if she is wearing foundation. They have a similar facial structure, lip shape, nose shape etc. Genetics are weird and these ladies aren’t related.
Yup, the way haplogroups work is that you can trace your ancestry all the way down the maternal or paternal line, except that women can't trace their ancestry down the paternal line. Or they could ask their brother, dad or dad's dad for their DNA. The way it works is that your mitochondrial DNA only gets passed from the woman to her offspring and the Y-chromosome only from a dad to his sons. Only your greatx100 mother doesn't have the same mitochondrial DNA because of random mutations along the way that define a haplogroup. If they shared their mother's mother they would have the same haplogroup, but if they shared their father's father it could be something entirely different
Mine was on a college campus. A few students kept saying 'you look just like ......' And said they even talked to this person, thinking it was me. One day I finally saw who they meant; can't say I was impressed, it was like a watered down version of myself......I saw what they meant though. So one day I see this person in the restroom, and I politely mentioned it, that some were getting us mixed up. I was curious their input, whether they agreed or not, but the response was flat, as if I hadn't said anything at all. That ended that. Friends never mentioned it again. Whole thing went away, just as well.
We are. They're misrepresenting the results. Everyone is related if you go back that far. Everyone. Unless you are part of some remote tribe with no outside world contact for the last 20000 years.
@@robbhays8077 I think everyone is related even now. It just does not show that clearly. But for everyone to show to be related I think one has to go further back than 20 000 years. There is a youtube video that explains this.
@@heidikarinen563 everyone is related now, everyone is likely related in 60 generations at most. There's not been enough people alive in 2000 years (approx 80 generations, meaning everyone alive right now, if we count the spots for their parents, their parents parents, etc for 80 generations amounts of over 1 octillion)....estimates aren't even at 1trillion humans having existed in all of history. Everyones very very very related, it's just most people don't know anyone further back than 2 or 3 generations.
Nature only has so many facial combinations it can really apply to a face generally speaking. With Billions of people you have Billions of combinations. Which, becomes almost an absolute certainty of a doppelgangers probability increasing. But, this is a awesome rare event.
Exactly, I have gotten mistaken by Jew , Greek , Middle Eastern and I don’t have any of it I even done a DNA test and it all came back exactly like my parents have told me we are which is a mix of Native American , Basque, Spanish , Portugal and I even got %4 West African which probably came from the slaves the Spanish bought with them into the Americas.
I feel like you might have misinterpreted the third envelope. The chances of any two Western Europeans not being related up to 23,000 years ago is practically zero.
They defo inferred the wrong meaning from the third.. I think all that test does is say, of the millions of tests we've done, you are most similar to the results of people we've tested living in country / region X. It is an incorrect logical jump to say you came from Country X.
Yep, for example, most everyone of European descent living in the United States are at least 12th cousins. My wife and I are quadruple 8th cousins, and those are just the ones I can find. And, she was born in California and I in Michigan.
My guess is it was the mitochondrial DNA. I did one of those once. All that would show is your mother's mother's mother's mother's mother's mother's mother's mother's mother's etc. mother didn't live in the same area.
@Supreet Bhullar just like that time i met a guy whit the same name as myself, but he hated his name and made fun of it, witch was super awkward, and made me walk way at first chance i got. Because i happen to be found of my name, so that felt really insulting.
Sadly, ugly people exist in the visual sense. Though, a good looking person judging an ugly person, in my eyes, are uglier in the metaphorical sense. What makes ugly? Just stating elements mate - Just sucks to be ugly, or dumb or poor or alone, what ever - man up and plough forward XD
Years ago, I was told I had a doppelganger that lived about 100 miles from where I live now. Even so, ironically enough, my doppelganger lived in the city I was born in. That was before DNA was developed and I never met the woman. But more than one person mentioned my unknown 'twin' to me, so I always wondered who she might be. It is a small world and with so many people living in it, there is no way that we don't all have doppelgangers somewhere.
hahaha over here in Iceland if you are dating someone, we always check if we are related cause the odds are so high we even have an app to check out if we are related
Gurl that is weird af. But if you really think about it, hundreds of years ago there were only like 500 of us so we are or were all related at some point. You cant run away from the curse gurlll ahahaha dating in highschool i would always find out the guy i was interested in was my cousin so i get the struggle
Haplogroup doesn't prove you're not related. It just means that your mother's mother's mother's, etc. lines are from different places. By the time you get back to the time period that determined your haplogroup, you each have thousands, maybe millions of ancestors. You could have been related on any of those other lines. You should have done autosomal tests.
Geographic correction: Mesopotamia is Iraq, which is in Southwest Asia, which is the Middle East. In other words, both of their ancestry goes back to the Middle East (thousands of years ago).
Not too surprising, considering the rather recent rapid expansion of humans during the early Neolithic. A big percentage of the DNA of people of European/North African/West Asian descent can be traced back to these first farmers.
I saw this thing once that there are at least 8 people that look like you... And I'm another level of ugly, so pets have a moment of silence for the other 8 people, and wish them a better life than mine
Funny story😭😂 I went to France 4 weeks ago and met this girl who was reading at the library. Little did I know we looked alike(I didn’t know what I’d look like with glasses until she took off her glasses) I freaked out and screamed😂 my mom saw us together and she fainted........ ahhhhh
Well the Ironic thing is that Mesopotamia is in the Middle East and the other girl is also from the Middle East and they are like " yes completly different places "
Leina H bet they could save the dna-test money by asking their mothers to list every female relative far back as they can remember. Prob only have to go 3 or 4 to find a common name. Heck it is only supposed to be 6-degrees of separation for everyone in the world, but to look exactly EXACTLY like that without a genetic component must be rare or the whole world would be full of random "twins". Think about it if there are more than 7 BILLION of us???

They’re both irish and have the same face, how the hell are they not related??
whyjordie Some genetic test companies, particularly those whom serve commercially, create fictional percentage scores (not even a proper form of genetic quantification) for political reasons.

@@laserfan17 oh yeahh that makes sense .
I don't think u know genetic much & how it works with our history & ancestry.....
@@laserfan17 Haplogroup, and in particular mitochondrial Haplogroup like this, _only track_ your maternal lineage. The point of mitochondrial haplogroup is that mitochondria are always taken by your mum (they are in the egg, not in the semen) and therefore your mum, your grandma (from your mother side), your greatgrandma (from your maternal grandmother side), all of them will have the same mitochondrial haplogroup. This is the neat fact of haplogroup, as we know from which parent we get them it allows a degree of certainty that no other genetic marker has. Given the fact they have different haplogroups, their mum is _surely_ not in common, nor their maternal grandma, and so on.

They just stood there, looking at me and then to my lookalike(and vice versa) only saying..”Here he is!”
Apparently this “face to face” had been planned as a crowd of my classmates had gathered around us in the hallway to watch our reactions.
Tav Tron Well, we graduated in 1980 and to my knowledge, I haven’t seen him since then. But when I do, I’ll jump right on it! 😊

Honestly I feel like I’ve already read this manga
If you met the female version of you would you fuck her?
I met my doppelganger at camp. We looked EXACTLY alike, we were the EXACT SAME AGE, we we're both born on March ninth, 2004, I was born at 11:32, she was born at 11: 37. What are the odds?
It's almost like looking in a mirror, and only you and your doppelganger can tell the what's different about you.
B4 I saw the date i thought u were referencing The Parent Trap😂
THATS SOME PARENT TRAP SH** RIGHT THERE BRO
that’s your twin oml
..... My mom has a lot of explaining to do. I'm glad I got her phone number.
I’d like to see your results from an autosomal DNA test (like Ancestry or 23andMe). The tests you used left lots of holes!
It’s crazy how similar they look.. literally look like twins..
I thought that at first but looked again realised that their eye shapes are different, it's just that the eye makeup is the same giving them the same look so wonder how they would look without the makeup.
Except for their noses and eyebrows
WRONG analysis, Haplogruop is FEMALE Exclusive line. It your female (mother, maternal grandmother, etc) line only. Many of your other ancestors could be same.
This is the most random video that RUclips recommended to me
Seriously??? This one is the most random?
Yea same for me and now that I watched it my recommendations are going to be even more random
same though-
Yeah but fore some reason I still clicked
Those areas are actually right next to each other, so they could be related.
My thoughts exactly. A large proportion of Europe comes from only 7 women. Im sure it’s the same everywhere. At some point the gene pool got really small
I thought so too.
It would be interesting for these two girls to have their faces laser scanned and measured to see how dimensionally similar they are or whether it is the eyes/brains of we viewers fooling us in to seeing similarities. Crazy.
Do u know why they say there are 7 people in the world who looks like you.....
Because ur one in a billion....
Yep
There is no billion people on earth, let alone seven billion. That's a straight up government lie!
@@martyrmessiah3903 what???

Martyr Messiah you obviously haven’t traveled much.
There was a guy who looked just like my Dad. He even dressed the same. You could only tell that it wasn’t him if you were close because they had a different eye color. I would occasionally see him after my Dad passed away and it would scare the crap out of me. The worst was when I was at a local store and went around the corner and came face to face with him.
you kept seeing the same guy? that’s weird
I suspect I have a doppelgänger that lives close to me because a lot of people come up and call me Myrna or ask if I was at the gym kicking the water vending machines...
TheNessa lmfao😂😂😂😂😂
I’ve been told I look like a person someone knows 26 times this year
What kind of life does hour double have 😂😂
I know it’s been years but I would love to see Niamh reunite with all three of her doppelgängers for one more photo shoot
Ladies, haplogroup only determines common maternal lines. You could have the same father, grandfather, great-grandfather etc. but if you had different mothers you could have different haplogroups. Having different haplogroups DOES NOT mean you can't be related
But the mitochondrial DNA is transmitted by female line only.
True story, hand to god.
han solo dad cheated
Oh some girl I know is identical to me and has the same birthday last name, parents, genetics......this is my my twin sister 😂
Their parents have a lot to explain
They both need to do a dna test. They could be cousins!
The probability of make-up relationship is 99.99%
The accent gives me chills, I don't know what it is - I just hear that accent and I fall head over heels.
how about not wearing the same clothes and makeup and then asking this question lol
Yeah they're not really that similar.
YES
@@BobsBand YES
The same goes for identical twins. Stop being a smartass. They do look alike.
@@starlodear2987 well yeah but not to really be calling themselves twins. (video is not called "two somewhat similar women")extremely
KerbalFacile Ah ha! So, they probably are related afterall!
well everyone is related so yeah but they aren't probably related related it's probably back 5 or 6 generation s
Confuzed Graphite so you breed dogs and cats together?? Haha jk, I had to

So Random hahaha I was going to say the same 😂
Mine was on a college campus.

Can't wait for this fucking obnoxious meme format to die.
20,000 years ago, you’d think everyone would be even more related.
And they have roots from middle eastern it seems?
Robb Hays even then we share the dna structure chromosomes but less shared genes
@@johndeeregreen4592 How about Alabama?
Plus for females we cannot know the paternal haplogroup. Therefore, there still can be a chance of some relationship through the paternal side
My guess is it was the mitochondrial DNA. I did one of those once. All that would show is your mother's mother's mother's mother's mother's mother's mother's mother's mother's etc. mother didn't live in the same area.

I love how your profile is gaara and were talking about doppelganger no jutsu
Years ago, I was told I had a doppelganger that lived about 100 miles from where I live now. Even so, ironically enough, my doppelganger lived in the city I was born in. That was before DNA was developed and I never met the woman. But more than one person mentioned my unknown 'twin' to me, so I always wondered who she might be. It is a small world and with so many people living in it, there is no way that we don't all have doppelgangers somewhere.
hahaha over here in Iceland if you are dating someone, we always check if we are related cause the odds are so high
we even have an app to check out if we are related
Gurl that is weird af. But if you really think about it, hundreds of years ago there were only like 500 of us so we are or were all related at some point. You cant run away from the curse gurlll ahahaha dating in highschool i would always find out the guy i was interested in was my cousin so i get the struggle

Haplogroup doesn't prove you're not related. It just means that your mother's mother's mother's, etc. lines are from different places. By the time you get back to the time period that determined your haplogroup, you each have thousands, maybe millions of ancestors. You could have been related on any of those other lines. You should have done autosomal tests.
there are plenty of things in nature that look visually similar but have completely different genetics.
or they went back too far

Geographic correction:
Mesopotamia is Iraq, which is in Southwest Asia, which is the Middle East.
In other words, both of their ancestry goes back to the Middle East (thousands of years ago).
Razor Edge but everyone here is calling them European
Its also turkey, southeastern turkey
Not too surprising, considering the rather recent rapid expansion of humans during the early Neolithic. A big percentage of the DNA of people of European/North African/West Asian descent can be traced back to these first farmers.
True and the Fertile Crescent is in The Middle East too.
