If you use the tape cleaning hack make sure you only apply it slightly and pull off slowly or you may accidentally remove some of the grip tape I learned that one the hard way

For wax i found that melting candle wax and oil together into a containet makes pretty slippery wax. Oil and wax are the same density so they can mix together but the solidifying temperature of oil is a lot lower than that of wax so the result is a slippery more soft kind of wax.

Kevyoso nope, my point is people use candles all the time to wax ledges and bars. Candle wax is skate wax, it’s not really a hack it’s just using the wax lol

well, sry man I’m not into skating so I didn’t know. But in my opinion, real fingerboard wax can be much better than candle wax in fingerboarding, because of how delicate fingerboards are. So candlewax isn’t just the normal wax fingerboarders use, so what I’m saying is that you don’t have real wax, you can use it
