    I miss him so much. The broncos decision making at running back was so bad back then. He was averaging like 5 yards a carry but Melvin Gordon continuously got more carries

      While normally I would agree because I loved Lindsay with the Broncos, he was purely a rusher and the Broncos were looking for a RB who could block as well. That’s why Melvin Gordon was brought in, Melvin Gordon was trash at rushing for the broncos but he was a consistent blocker and receiver.

      @@cartercrowther3125averaged 4.5 yards a carry and NEVER fumbled, he also averaged over a 70% completion rate when targeted so this narrative is a little skewed. That’s nearly the same as Gordon’s 75% completion rate. Yet one could run the ball and we decided to start the man who must’ve lathered up in vegetable oil before each game.

      @@MonkayMan420 watch the game for once in your life. Lindsay dropped so many 3 down passes and never broke a tackle in his whole career. Kinda hard to fumble when you fall over on first contact. Gordon ran hard unlike Lindsey. And I distinctly remember Lindsey fumbling a direct snap in the game we played without a QB in the covid season so even that no fumble stat was false. I watched the games Lindsey wasn't half of what you guys claimed he was. Especially after Jano left.

    He was clearly the guy, and then they went and signed Melvin Gordon big money for no reason. It's a bad business man, he had his best seasons making undrafted money

      wasn't good at pass blocking, and struggled big time catching the ball out of the backfield. Gordon was needed and why he ended up starting over him.

      ​@SnuggieMaple why waste a roster spot on a FB when they can use it on an important position they needed filled? he didn't have the best vision while running the ball. once teams realized he was just gonna try to bounce outside all the time, the started shutting him down and his production dropped big time.

    to explain why he got cut ill explain as a Denver fan. Pretty much him being in the game was a direct sign that we were running the ball as he wasn’t a good receiving back and was to small to pass pro; which is very valuable in the play action game. Not only that but he wasn’t very patient when it came to waiting for block or hitting the hole- he bounced it outside as much as possible and it worked for a minute until defenses keyed in on this. they turned from 15+ yard runs to gains of nothing. He struggled to develop his vision and was cut therefore- love the dude tho ❤

He wasn't a great pass catcher and he was 5'8 190 trying to block 6'4 275 linemen coming full speed at him so of course he was bad at it. Running had nothing to do with it. RBs are easy to find these days.

    He wasn’t cut after his rookie season, he played in Denver from 2018-2020 seasons and was a free agent in 2021. Idk why the guy made it so misleading

    The fact that this man was even blessed enough to excel in a game he loved while staying in his home state for college AND the NFL while also being able to represent it to the fullest is an absolutely amazing feat.. I’m pretty confident that he, along with the his family and friends and loved ones, are very proud of him and his achievements. Props to him. Such a solid dude.

    They did Lindsay Dirty Broncos had nobody really and he had back to back 1000 yards seasons and then they got Gordon and he did nothing really and they cut him I just didn’t understand why they did him like that was he the best running back no but he was a good one and I believe the broncos haven’t had a 1000 rusher since he was on the team

    yeah, but as mentioned before, Phillip Lindsay is "kicking Ass" as a host in the late afternoon on 104.3 the FAN, with Zach Bye .. He didn't just have it handed to him like Derek Wolf, and others. But he has been able to stay there only because he's got natural talent !! The name got him in, but his knowledge of the game and other pro sports, will keep him there for a very long time , if he so desires. He's a winner ..
