Oh my Lincoln is so grown up! I used to watch this channel with my kids when they were younger, it’s been 5 years or so and I just came across it again this morning and I’m glad to see they are still at it.
If it was more affordable and in kids sizes, all my kids would have a pair and would be great for my grandfather who has difficulties putting on his shoes!
yeah the price is usually lower but due to resellers buying em and reselling for 300 more than what NIKE puts em as, the price has gone up alot. They ruined it
They mean accessible for people with disabilities, but yeah. A lot of things related to being disabled are really expensive. Wheelchairs cost way more than those shoes. It really is a problem when people are stuck without the assistance devices that would give them more independence and/or less pain because they can't afford it.
If i remember well, the retail price was under 100USD, but it seems most of the shoes landed at resellers who are now asking 200+ dollars for it and this is a pitty. On the other hand it seem this was just a good advertisment for nike, if they would care the people, then they would produce it again…
@@eastonchristensen3601 limited run, as a daily driver to someone who is physically impared it would last them maybe a year at best. nike is not your friend, unless you deal with trafficking children in Malaysia to make shoes for you idk.
I have the yellow and green ones. Putting them on is easy as taking the first one off is. Taking the second one off if you use your feet can be painful sometimes with that big bit of plastic digging in your foot
Thanks for sharing. I didn’t know these existed. I have a permanent impairment of my hand so tying shoes is time consuming. This would be way better than forcing my foot in and out which wears out normal shoes.
It's really cool that a big company like Nike is making accessible design like this. It sucks that the price is so high right now but I hope as the technology has been around for longer, and more people buy them, the price will go down. I think it's great that these look cool and are convenient even without a disability, both because disabled people want to be fashionable too, and because it makes the market for them bigger. If lots of people want a shoe like this, mainstream shoe companies can make them in larger quantities, which means economies of scale.
accessible shoes existed forever, nike just made it with bright colours and cheap gimmicks. i work with problem feet often. the full zipper shoe in specific would be useless, the first part you start to rub in a shoe is the back, where the heel counter sits. good companies make a hard plastic heel counter with leather to reduce friction and wear. having your heel rubbing on a plastic zipper would likely cause a nasty blister. and the people that these shoes are targeted to are likely people with low mobilty/diabetes. typically people with diabetes have 0 feeling in their feet, so what to you and i would be a nasty blister, to them would be an open infected wound. that being said, the shoe that you can slip into from the top and the back closes in on you is a demonstration of true accessible design. until you realize a major oversight that you now have a shoes made of 2 parts *quite literally* held together with elastic. so that would last maybe 4 months of daily use before you notice the elastic stretch and eventually wear out or snap/break. so if you are disabled, high income (those don't mix generally) and don't mind waiting for another pair of shoes to come in the mail every 6 months. these are the shoes for you no doubt.
Will definitely be interesting for stroke survivors who are hemiplegic paralyzed on one side like myself I’m definitely looking into getting one of these thank you nike indeed 🙏🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👍🏽
They should require a doctors note to purchase them. This would help stop people from buying and reselling just to make quick profit. This would make it easy for anyone who has the slightest reason to need these shoes while deterring resellers from buying to resell for increased price
I've had a pair of the Go Flyease for a few month now and I stopped wearing anything else! Even in the night, instead of my slippers, I just slide into them. I wear them to work, out to dinner, cycle commuting , and even took them on my last MTB ride! They've held up great. With a bum knee I had trouble getting regular shoes on; hence my original inspiration to purchase. I sure hope they continue to make them! I got my pair for well under $100, but I'd like to get a pair of all black as that is better for work and such, and the only ones I can find are $1000!
I love all the new Nike designs, but they are never made for really wide feet people. I love would to get these for my mom, but Nike's shoes are too tight. I got her the nurse shoes and they were just way too tight, even if we sized up.
Do you think they’re comfortable enough for every day use like for hiking walking do you think that little rubber piece would wear out overtime what’s the regular price of them
Do a Kizik shoe??? They were designed in Utah; have Zac bring you a pair! They have a titanium spring for the heel. They are also a step-in style full shoe.
OK I admit I first thought how lazy do you have to be to want an easy wear shoe. However now I see how they work they could be very beneficial to the mobility impaired so thanks for showing them, I have never heard of them
Yep, most products that seem to be made for "lazy" people are actually for those with impaired mobility or disabilities! Thats not to say that pointless products don't exist either
That's a good looking knife. 👌
😂
Sussy Baka
Good looking statue as well.
7:39 knife is as strong as zack is💪😄😄😄😄😄💪💪💪💪💪

Wow, I remember watching a bunch of videos from this channel. Your son has grown up, a lot. Time flies man...
they're expensive for shoes that are labelled "accessible"
Accessible for the rich

Just the brand name, product itself $20

I love your videos man. the best channel on RUclips 💖
this pair of shoes if im not mistaken is probably $120-$140 retail so it is actually affordable, so dont get confused with the $500 resell price
It was a limited run, so actually the only way to get them is to pay the 500$ resell price
@@eastonchristensen3601 or even smarter idea wait for Nike to make it not limited.
@@amosm1091 not going to happen, I don’t think you understand what a limited run means😂

you should try pull tie elastic laces. they are 1 hand operated and can be fit to any shoe with existing laces.

But what's the back part made of? I would like to have seen that cut in half for a look inside.
What’s inside the iPhone?
The shoes looks like old school 2000s style imagine wearing a rainbow coloured dress with these shoes would perfect for chased by street dog's 🤣💡
Cut in half lengthwise
我很好奇他的中底裡是否有nike氣墊
God he’s grown up so fast last time I watched he was a little boy
What is that LV bomb like thing
Next video: What’s inside iPhone 13?
As a shoe fan this video breaks my heart.
$500 I just look on Google it say $175 😂
Shoutout to jerry’s knife!
I'm the only one who sees lincoln left hand?😂😂
Do whats inside an wilson 2000 baseball glove
my heart breaks to see this
Yeah, nobody should support Chinese slave labor
You sound like an off brand Ryan Reynolds no offense
Wow 👍👍👍
You didn't even tear the shoe open, I liked the old vids better
Nike doesn't owe anyone jack. It's ridiculous how people are complaining about it on Twitter. They're clearly having manufacturing issues.
Seriously 🥲
The shoe without the back half are like the Jimmy shoe from Seinfeld!
Hello there👋👋,how are you?hope you’re having a wonderful day?GOD BLESS YOU!❤️
Same Lincoln, I’ve never heard of it
Use oil linkon on your legs it helps

What size does lincoln has
3:53 for the shoes
I’m a quadriplegic and I could use some of those. My feet will slide right in. Send me a pair please
As much as I would love to see more sneaker videos, it also pains me to see these limited editions destroyed 😅

Why do we need shoe laces in general? I find them pointless. Little things should be easy/easier not difficult
