‘Unbreakable’: ‘Cherished’ US-Israel alliance will be ‘stronger than ever’

Donald Trump has vowed the “cherished” alliance between the United States and Israel will be “stronger than ever” under his administration.
The US president was joined by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at the White House for a joint press conference on Tuesday evening, local time.
“Over the past four years the US and Israeli alliance has been tested more than any time in history but the bonds of friendship and affection between the American and Israeli people have endured for generations and they are absolutely unbreakable,” Mr Trump said.
“I am confident that under our leadership, the cherished alliance between our two countries will soon be stronger than ever.”
