If you are someone who packs out meat then these packs are the way to go. I a 53 years old and I look forward to the pack outs because of the comfort of my Mystery Ranch Marshal. The quality and durability is second to none. I can also load a elk quarter and be ready to move faster than most with a traditional pack. I sure hope these packs don't get discontinued.

My son and I both own Mystery Ranch hunting packs and appreciate them. I say this to Yeti's senior management: I strongly urge you to reconsider your decision to discontinue the Mystery Ranch technical line of packs and other related gear after 2025. There are very few quality hunting packs on the market that are properly made as Mystery Ranch packs are, and I think it's a very unfortunate and terribly misguided decision. This decision, if not reversed, will certainly impact ALL future decision-making purchases I will be making regarding hunting coolers, packs, and every other piece of related gear that Yeti/Mystery Ranch (and its competitors) sell. There are quite enough poorly designed "everyday-use" soccer-mom/soccer-dad products already on the market. One can go to Wal-Mart or Sport-Chek for that next-to-generic utter crap. The last thing we need is yet another quality gear manufacturer, that actually understands the technical needs of its customers, falling victim to the so-called "wisdom" of corporate accountants who think they understand how to run a company, but who know nothing about quality gear built for people who actually use it in hardcore use. You can either choose to keep us and the outdoor community, as customers, or lose us. Your call.

I absolutely agree. I fear that YETI will turn through brand into nothing more than a poorly made overpriced product geard at people that enjoy living in a HOA.

Is this the same frame as my previous version Metcalf? Will that Gravelly pack attach to my frame? Thanks.

Hey guys, I love your products and love supporting local Bozeman businesses. I have the Bridger 65. I love how it looks and feels. The problem is that it is waaaaaaayyy too heavy at 5.5 lbs. I was excited to see this video in my feed, because I'm shopping for an ultralight pack. I was surprised to see these "ultralight" packs being listed at 5.0 lbs for the 50L size. That's still crazy heavy. The Durston Kakwa 55 is an ultralight pack, and it's listed at 2.0 lbs. That's a world of a difference. I wouldn't call 5 lbs even close to ultralight.

UL stands for, useless. Always breaks, Mystery ranch is bombproof. And that at 5lbs is amazing.

@@Dasbeerboots It aint too heavy for a packout pack.

@@2DaysYouth That's not what I'm saying. Mystery Ranch called it an ultralight pack. You said UL stands for useless. This is not an ultralight pack by any definition of the word.
