      Those are very powerful words to share, and I am so glad it could have that kind of impact on you. Thank you for watching & I hope to see you during our future content where we actually play these games on my backlog!

    MY BEST FRIEND on PS5 has this problem. I told him I have 5-6 games on my backlog and he laughed out loud and called me a lightweight. He said, "give me 15 minutes, Ill be back".....He came back on the mic and said, "My backlog!?! Oh yeah, I just counted. Within the past 3 years I have bought 134 games and I have 133 left to play."

      I don’t think I have that many but it’s definitely triple digits 😅 granted most of mine are series and such so organizing it definitely helped me a ton in actually getting them prioritized

      @@dagerry Nice! Yeah I love the ability to hide games on Steam. Same reason I’ll delete games I’m not playing on consoles as well. Making sure it’s something you are interested in still is definitely the key 🔑

    Idk if its my age but i stopped worrying to much about games. I always felt that i miss out on something if i didnt play all good games. You dont ppl. Just play a game u actually want to play atm.
    I finished GTA 5 yesterday the first time without pressure, loved it.

      Exactly one of the points at I get at! One of the biggest things is to do it how you want to that allows you to just simply enjoy gaming again & maybe organize it a bit to help you decide what comes next.

    I got overwhelmed by my list, so I made a "decisions jar" for fun. It has all the games and series I own. If I get bored or don't know what to play, I take out a note. I am currently playing persona 5 royal and Persona 4 arena. I got Turnip boy, which I played for about an hour before I decided that I had my fun :)

    Heres what I do.. I do not buy a game until I have completed two on my backlog. and I also play games on easy mode if it has one. If I get far enough into a game that I'm invested and want a challenge then ill turn up the difficulty.

    I have like 1 hour gaming time every second day and 2-3 hours weekends. It's hard to put in my whole list. Last time I started city skylines and looked at the clock every 10 minutes.. I can play multiple smaller games. One shooter, a strategy game I've mastered years ago, and a hunting game. I rotate them how I see fit but trying something new is exhausting from the start..

    • @Macstremity
      @Macstremity  10 месяцев назад

      Just take it a sequence, level, mission etc at a time like I mention in the video! Usually those are not up to an hour in length which means you have plenty of time to make some progress on some of those great games that are out!

    The real problem is that I haven't felt goosebumps, screamed out of excitement, or laughed my ass off from a game in ages. It's all just the same 'meh', no matter how good the game is

    So you're saying to experience these game's firsts like the double sided lightsaber and the terrifying noise of a clicker. But how can one experience these firsts when you have already told them about it? Bit of an oversight I'd say

    • @Macstremity
      @Macstremity  10 месяцев назад +1

      These games are over 4+ years old, and one even had a popular TV show made from it. There’s a difference in experiencing yourself the feeling and it being simply shown.

    • @briannairb793
      @briannairb793 10 месяцев назад

      @@Macstremity I guess that's subjective then. When I get told what's gonna happen in a video game I am indifferent to that thing happening when I play it. I avoid game trailers for this exact reason. I want to truly experience a game for the first time, instead of just knowing what's gonna happen and looking for that thing to happen.

    • @Macstremity

      I personally used Adobe Premiere Pro but that’s only because I split the entire suite on student pricing with somebody so it’s very cheap for me.
      DaVinci Resolve is definitely the best free software for video! Canva for creating graphics if needed

    The formula I used in my spreadsheet: =Hours_to_finish_main_story * 0.001 * Hours_Weight + (Metascore+Userscore) / 2 * 0.001 * Hours_to_finish_main_story + Intrest
    PS. This formula doesnt work well with MMORPGS cuz to many hours
