His understanding of music and his ability to apply that knowledge so effortlessly, with emotion, to any instrument he so chooses, including his voice and his songwriting, is truly something to behold. I’ll never get tired of listening to him perform.
I don't think most people realize how difficult the run Brian did at 4:15 is to do. The run right before was a more a basic repetitive run, but the one on "It's so hard" involved a lot more movement on the scale and creativity. That's why the group was freaking out at the way he just casually pulled it off like it wasn't simple.

this is a legendary collab. crazy amount of talent here. not just surface skill, but truly developed talent making great music. brian mcknight has such a strong grasp of music theory and can apply it to all of his instruments, including his voice, in his own style. aside from the way he pronounces and holds notes, the pitches he chose to switch up the song during his turn gave me instant chills. I don't even know if it's all rudimentary at the end of the day, but that shit at 4:16 got me so good.
His vocal prowess and delivery is virtually unprecedented. Aveon Falstar can sing right with these guys too. I still say he's got to be related to Brian McKnight somehow.
