- Psalm 113 is known as an Egyptian Hallel because of its connection with Passover celebrations, commemorating Israel’s deliverance from Egypt. It was sung as part of the Passover ceremony.
It is about calling God’s servants to continually praise Him.

25:45 The verse citation should read "Philippians 2:6-8" instead of Philippians 6:2-8
Praise the Lord! ❤
There is no one like our God.
Thank you Pastor David for this beautiful and insightful explanation of Psalm 113. The Lord has raised so many of us from the dust of our transgressions, that we will follow and praise Him from this time forth and forever more. In the name of His precious Son, Jesus. Amen
“Let is praise the Lord whose mercies never cease.” Hallelujah!!!
I being a Pakistani Christian understand this Psalm 113 very well. As I was no body but Lord bless me so much that I cannot count my blessing. I was raised in Anglican village in Pakistan. My story and Jabez ( 1Chronical 4:9-10 ) is same. I praise the Lord because of the character of God. I praise the Lord for spiritual, and physical blessing beyond my understanding.
Amen! May God's blessings continue to come to you!
Amen!
What an encouraging and wonderful testimony!!!

Incredible that Jesus could sing praises to the Father on the night of His betrayal & & subsequent crucifixion teaching us if He could praise in His circumstance, certainly so can we in ours.
Amazing

Lisa, such an incredible offering of support, you are too kind.
Blessings in His name, for you and for all you do.
Yes, Praise God as I see more n more of His lovingkindness. 4 years ago my home burnt down (after incorrect installation of woodburner by a company) and I've had no home since BUT God has kept me and used this experience to bring me closer to him, so I praise and thank Him despite the circumstances. The court case is finally in a couple of months. V7 "He raises the poor from the dust and lifts the needy from the ash heap" Can I pray and trust God based on this verse to raise me (definitely poor and needy) from the literal dust and ash heep? Is it taking scripture out of context? I do pray that God will help me in court over my home but pray even more that He continues to raise me to praise Him, as I discover more of His covenant loving kindness (that you have often explained) , faithfulness and joy in Him not circumstances or possessions. Praise God.
Exaggeration of praising God is like picking any high number to represent an infinite number.
Hence indeed it is impossible to exaggerate in praising God.
Who Is Like the Lord?
Thank you for your teaching! Praise the LORD! Your first scripture reference listed in #1 should be Philippians 2:6-8. 😊
Thanks for catching that, it's much appreciated!
Thank you for your kind words and support.
The meaning of the word praise in English, Halel in Hebrew is...
✨
Hallelujah means God-shines...
✨ God ✨
When it is said to praise His servants, it means all His servants shine, remember Moses after went back from Sinai and The tabernacle, and the angel that brings a message to Samson's mother,
and also Yeshua after praying, their faces shines.
✨ 🙂 ✨
And when it says "morning and night, forever shine", it means regardless of the sun, that we know as the source of light on the earth, the shines of God never dim. God shines forever and ever.
Now the word praise in English is the context "after". After consciousness, see the bright shines, we then declare the truth, "God truly shines, indeed He is shining, and all His servants are shining brightly".
Praise is an acknowledgement if the truth/reality, faith, to believe based on evidence.
God is shining!
✨ God ✨
Hallelujah!
The word becomes flesh, the abstract letters become concrete reality.
God's words are the reality.
Man's words are representations (signs, letters, words) of the reality that ought to conform (nail/fastened) to the reality (God's word - working hands).
Thank you for the enduring word.
My husbands faith is ice cold
Can you please pray for him?
