Fast fwd to July - I rec'd a p/c from a friend of mine w/Knights of Columbus (St. Bernard's Church in Tracy, CA) asking if I would be able to provide a donation for our Parish Fall Festival (which is actually this coming weekend). I made 4 of these wreaths - of different sign/color/accent variations. The auction started on-line last week & so far my 4 wreaths that had starting bids of $5 (and min increase of $2) are now $30/$30/$35/$37 with 3 days to go still! Clearly are a big hit & it certainly looks like I'll be making more wreaths next year! I also promised 2 more for another friend's charity function in Oct & of course I have to make 1 for my Soul Sister bestie & 2 for my home as well! THANK YOU SO MUCH for you amazing ideas and very thorough tutorials! I watched a recent Halloween haul of yours - got lucky & snapped up cpl of the vintage inspired kitty/skull/pumpkin signs after seeing them here. I had to go to Tracy, Manteca, Livermore AND San Jose locations to get them & so glad I did. I will of course return to your channel for future ideas, inspiration & guidance. I even shared your channel w/young gal in SJ store that was looking at the wire pumpkin forms- I watched that video too & she was so inspired she choose to try to make them. I made this today. Thank you for an excellent tutorial. Mine turned out exactly like yours. What do you think about taking the purple gems from the rings and glueing them in as eyeballs on the skulls ? Would that be overkill ?
Hello! Lovely wreath! Around 4:45 when you're gluing the pipe cleaners to the wreath and board to the ends, do the wires stay sticking up? I don't think I understood where the pipe cleaners go on the outer ends.
The pipe cleaners pull down the wreath rings that do not lay flat on their own. So glue down under the ones that are lifted and then tie them down. Hope that helps.
