Of course I will download a map from you, and I really enjoy videos like this, I hope there will be more videos like this in the future and of course, it really helps new players to find a good place for their camp.
I haven’t been playing turtle but I think I’m gonna come back and play through the next season. Maybe even spend some cash on Adams and get the current season before it’s over. I definitely kind of want to get the next season because there’s that really cool follow first tent, I don’t have any of the good fall out for only have the PC, which gives you a scrap stash in a place to scrap stuff but there’s something that I can’t think what’s missing something missing I guess you can cook no music you can’t tuneup and I think doesn’t the new one that’s coming in the next season doesn’t have scrap stash ammo stash workbench I am gonna has everything right music food Plus a place to sleep. I think it has everything I didn’t. I haven’t had a look at it. I’ve only listen to somebody talking about what appeared to be in the the data miners list of new items for the season but I almost think I got to come back and play through the season then Plus meat week is coming and there’s a bunch of new items in meat week and already have everything else from the week last meat week as I got five or six pepper shaker plans I mean just lucky as hell last time they’re all gone now of course so I mean I can make one, but I sold all the plants But there’s a bunch of new items I think this coming week and it’s one of my Fasnacht and meet with my two most favorite events in the game really don’t care for the rest of the events but I like you and Fasnacht and getting the masks when they put new masks in and I got two of the new mask last time Actually I think last time there weren’t any actually brand new masks but they were still masks that I didn’t have from the previous few new masks. Either way I like five snack and I like meat week maybe week I’m also like because I am very weak, and I’ve got like overflowing at the seams with the scrap and items to turn in for more scrap when you know, and my vendor full of items for sale, because I have one of those kill box camps, you know that’s based belt right around the arm one of the spawn locations are with all kinds enclave, lazy turtle pie, how to reach just legs waist, kills everything in a few seconds it’s both a burden and and really cool because one I got to be there all the time every 15 minutes because you know Increase damage from Ma demo expert on every dirt, and if I’m not there, then the critters tend to you know Lee ways to my camp instead of my camp lane waste of them by the amount of loot that comes out of it I mean not to mention all the new items from doing the actual, you know event I’m pretty sure meat week is probably Fast and I can meet Rick or private to most active events for not just me but for everybody at me
One of my favorite spots in the cranberry bog was simply just a hole in the ground, that had a tunnel connecting to another hole, and I placed my camp right in the middle of that tunnel. Allowing me to use a good portion of both pits on either side. Made one into living quarters and the other into a workshop with a wall and door covering the entrance.
Agreed, I was using the double spawn to the east of vault 76 and probably 8/10 when I logged in I got "C.A.M.P cannot be placed" and eventually moved because it was tedious server hopping just to have my camp spawn
@@Mashangi I have that exact same spot, with the exact same problem. Funny thing is i also have the spot with the acid underwater. That camp is almost never taken. One other besides the lead next to cliffwatch is the spot east of mac's farm. There's a gold spot and it is almost never taken. Gold sells for a ton anywhere you take it, and its right down the way from the cranberry forest!! LOOOOL!!!
No resources, but camping across the street from the Nuka Cola plant, you get a bus stop with two Raider NPCs (that will use your games and camp toys) and access to the river. It's my new favorite spot!
My main camp is always by pleasant valley train station. Junk extractor, vendorbot, scrip machine, nearby water source, 3 static brahmins for extra milk/food, on Grahm's walking route, on keycard vertibird route and its decently close enough to WH and center of map to get pretty good vendor traffic. Plus great for magazines...theres about 7 spawns for mags at pleasant valley...
I built a nice log cabin next to the waterfall east of the crashed plane in the Mire. But my current camp is in the Cranberry Bog. At first I built it on the lead vein by RobCo Research, but have since moved it to the depot halfway between the Scorched Earth event and the Watoga train station. I try to provide every amenity for SBQ hunters traveling to the RR station to sell their spoils (I built an underground home but ran out of budget before I could decorate it, alas).
I built by the pond area near the bear on the map. No resource aside from water, but it is away from traffic and rarely spawns dangerous creatures so I did not have to pile turrets all over. I once found a great spot in the Mire and built a house, but it was flagged to always spawn anglers so they would keep appearing in or by my house no matter what and wreck it each time.
I got a camp at the forest junkyard location. Since it’s already got a lot of junk I leaned into that for the build. I piled every random decoration, and furniture, and junk item that I thought would fit a junk collector/ hoarder look. In the center I used the mobile home prefab and built a deck over the roof. The inside is just as packed. The benches are on the roof deck. I have the wandering musician as my ally. 😃
It's not a dual extractor camp but I do love the little farm at the edge of the Ash heap and savage divide. It has a couple houses, a greenhouse, wood extractor and has 2 NPCs to work the farm while I'm off ninjaing a bunch of mutants. (Mine is a front for the enclave research station hidden in the inaccessible building behind the keypad door. I love using a keypad door and hiding the pass code in my camp, it feels like I'm making secret content for people to stumble on :) )
i like aaronholdt farm where the junk pile and bee hives are. it is on a slope so building is akward. but you have doggos several bugs that will drop acid and anticeptic if you get tics moleminers and scorched visit occasionally. easy source for corn tatos mutfruit razorgrain pumpkins honey cranberries. and if you dont mind a walk arronholdt has a power armor station armor bench weapons workbench brewers station and cooking station already. also sometimes you get free range and leader of the pack events there.
i'd consider the best spots to be ones that arent contested :) there was a flat spot on the golf course I used to use, but I always hard to server hop on log in not sure why bethesta didnt patch it so a server where your camp spot was vacant is the one you get connected to
My CAMPs are less about extractors/resources and more about being close to locations I frequent. I get far more resources from CAMP items, scrapping, and general looting than extractors provide (though I do tend towards junk piles). My favorite places to have a CAMP are near WATOGA, near Morgantown, near Wavy Willard's, near Eviction Notice, and either Helvetia or Point Pleasant. I also like to build in impractical / hard to reach places - Seneca Peaks, the Swamp south of Harper's Ferry. Any place with a good view. To each their own, of course; there's no "right" or "wrong" per se. Depends on one's priorities.
I’ve built my camp just slightly north of kerwood mine, no resource spots, but has an amazing view of watoga and the mire You can always (if you have one) use a JUNK dog collecter to gather materials
I'm cliffside just south of West Tek, the cliffs are flat so it's good building and you have a view of Watoga and the cranberry bog. Mister Church (youtuber, fallout player) did a video about building in that junk yard location in the forest. It's a great place for resources!
damn it he showed my location in the savage divide, it's indeed amazing with the amount of plants around. But this means I'll probably get more camp couldn't be placed messages
Do you genuinely farm metals at end game? I'm always at cap limit and just buy all my junk at this point. I'm never low on scrap regardless but I have a "utility" build which has max charisma, so i get maximum returns for my caps. Just to spend some of them at vendors.
Regarding water sources… a lot of people don’t know it, but the abandoned mine shelter has a spammable water source in it. Much faster getting water from it than a sink in your camp, and accessible no matter where you put your camp.
@@istvanpalanki5316 yes, of course. But if I’m building, say, on the top of a mountain with no water nearby, then I can just go into my shelter and quickly get all the water I need.
Mine is in Twin Lakes, haven't changed it ever since people used to nuke White Springs. Everyone is welcome for some free fresh coffee and grilled radstags. Look for the camp with the name Loxyas written in greek letters above the door.
Ther is a spot along a cliffside a bit north of lake eloise that has an acid extrator spot in a small cave at the bottom of the cliff and a lead extractor spot at the top of the cliff you can use but you have to set your camp half way up the cliff wall in the right spot to be able to utilize both. I managed a nice 7 level tower ther. Still one of my favorite builds. My other is actually on the lake with the brahmin as I use a lot of milk. I might have to relocate now to the spot just south you highlighted.
Turtle, I play with the Atom Cats of Appalachia on PlayStation, and I have to say I personally love the last location you posted daddio. Cause you see that is where my camp is and seein as how us Atom Cats are all planted on that street, we’ve come to refer to it as Atom Cats Alley. That specific location is the Atom Cats Raceway where we welcome all those is the battle of cool vs uncool to come watch (or compete) in our Power Armor Races. However, I am really looking forward to seein you donation box camp. So stay cool, and we will catch you on the flipside!
I'm a pretty basic bitch and have my camps in popular spots (Charleston Station, oil seep in cranberry bog, junk node under the monorail piller). My camp failing to load is pretty common and I have, on one occasion, been on a server where all 3 were blocked. One was by a tent though though
Maybe you should do a little contest where people design a CAMP in that spot and, if you like something they did and will incorporate it into your CAMP, they'll get 1-2 scrip legendaries
My camp is on that lake in the Savage Divide with the three brahmin. It's such a good area to have a base. Really beautiful, close to a train station, and the Pleasant Valley ski cabins is amazing for resources and taking out scorched. There could be better places on the map, but I feel lucky I stumbled across this area early in the game
I have my camp built at the end of the road from the faschnat festival. I built it as a quick camp to get to the event faster and it’s grown into a neat little neighborhood. I’m close ish to the wayward for low lvl players to hit my vendor and it’s right in the middle of the map so it’s easy to find haha

Why did I not know of this before now? 😄Acid fissures are cool (I smelt ore a lot). Berry mentat faming? Really? For me that's actually cooler than the acid fissure. Close to the train station is really cool too, not to mention all of the good reasons to be close to Top of the World. But my all time favorite CAMP (my only CAMP realistically) is just east of Fort Atlas, to the left of the dog on the map. Acid fissure+awesome view==Best Camp Ever, for me. But you got me thinking. Maybe I'll build a CAMP at your location #3! If anyone smelts a lot or just wants a breathtaking view, you really should try the "by the dog" acid fissure location!
hello Mr. Angry Turtle. hope your well. for me personally after 5 years and thousands of hours since beta i found my "End Game" final camp location. well....its right above WS. when i say Right above. i mean that in a literal sense. took me weeks and weeks. my camp icon is on top of the WS marker;) best wishes to you. ps. i never have to worry about it being attacked or i never see "your camp cannot be placed' its good to be different.
I like the camp with the 2 settlers the female settler can give you magazines. And there is a cranberry coke. The bad side the settlers die out of nowhere. Idk why but I wish that could be fixed. I wish there was more camps locations with settlers that give magazines.
Junk extractors in your camp work great with the F.E.T.C.H. collectron! I always come back to my camp to recover all kinds of helpful junk in good quantities.
I always spend a lot of time walking the map looking for a good new camp location and I have settled on several. Although I wish we had more camp slots still, I'm going to check out a few of these for future endeavors.
My first camp was at the lake/cave and it is a great camp area. Occasional super mutant group our hounds will spawn but they are almost always on the cliff and pretty easily controlled. Also if you put your shelter entrance right up against the rock in the cave it makes it a little more immersive. This is also a great way to stock purified water for caps.
It doesn't matter where I put my dam camp every time I get off and start fallout up again theres always someone in that location already i go to the far end of the map where no one goes and boom there a camp there to after like ffs
Great spots! Trying a build at the spot with the underwater acid and it won't let me build the extractor on it. Is there a trick or did they patch that?
Since enemies are attracted to Fusion generators, I put mine on a springboard and make sure I wire to something and then I trip the springboard. My fusion generator just vanishes and cannot be destroyed
I built a second camp right on eloise lake it's near scorched event good environment spawns floaters and can spawn legendary floaters they can't attack camp objects only on death there explosion deals dmg if there close enough to camp objects, which makes it ideal location. But anybody just looking for xp build at the golf club next to white springs or next to West tek. Edit if you can design bases good like me and your making a water base you will also have just enough room to put your food rss mutfruit tree razor grain tato plant etc on the ground unless you got the soil wallpaper floors. That would make it look better to. I use 2 industrial water purifiers to keep Me hydrated and to sell to vendors.
Turtle ! You’re a master of this game ! I’ve been looking for a new site for awhile, I’m a vendor and have not had much traffic lately, so my vending machine has been full. I kinda disagree with the crater/ toxic valley location you pointed out. I personally find WAY too many Rad Scorps there. I hate those things. Thanks for posting and as always, thanks for the info.
I get more value out of being near a vendor, scrip machine, and dirty water. Esp charelston station where I can build right up to the station platform. And one near eviction notice where I usually end up overuncumbered with legendaries.
Hey turtle, I'm a new subscriber, I was wondering if it's actually good to put your camp near a workshop? I Googled it and didn't see any clear answer to the question.
Turtle this maybe a dumb question but how did you get the over head looking down view to see the radius of your camp? I'd like to use that for the bog location with the two resources
Hi, Turtle. Thank you. This took quite a while to put together, I'm sure. I prefer camps that bend expectations a little (floating, under the map, in the sky) or theme-based such as continuing the pumpkin house almost seamlessly, and I have a lot of resources, and I love to have other players visit to see them, so my locations tend to be quite different from these.
Lead weights(i.e. dumbbells) can be found at the prison yard with super mutant event occurs. Also the sludge in ash heap has them. My buddy and I often go here for lead.
I have not used the Gatling Laser since they fixed the problem with starting with 999 with the Power User perk card and it jumps down to 600 after the first shot. I bought a bloodied ultracite gatling laser today. Now it counts down 400 shots from 999 then registers ZERO and loads a new fusion core. It's WORSE. Now I have only 400 shots instead of 600.
So just started playing the game but the first base location, isn't that near where nukes are dropped all the time? What do you do about that and what happens? I imagine your base just goes poof lol
@@AngryTurtle Ahh I see. I just found out even in Pacifist mode players can still use mechanics to destroy your base lol. They place a prefabbed mass rocket turret base down and just destroy your shit. I had a base in that toxic valley making purified water to sell for 4caps ea, workbenches for players to use, stash to store your items, and even beds in case they wanted to rest to recover. 2 lvl 1000 players must have felt threatened by a lvl 25 players base. Sad the game doesn't give any type of warning your base is being attacked, especially by other players lol.
re: Cranberry Bog Yes, yes, please I support all players camping in cranberry bog to camp near the copper deposit and not the junk pile at Thunder Mountain Substation alone. That deathclaw Thunder Mountain will totally wreck your camp.
i only look for nice sights but unfortunately most regions are kinda ugly and cliffs are pretty hard to build on at the end i managed to a get spot that's really hard to fit in so i never have to server hop and enemies constantly spawn, bunch of legendaries too
🐢In case you're looking for the map ;) twitter.com/AngryTurtle20/status/1659624200422735882?s=20

I always spend a lot of time walking the map looking for a good new camp location and I have settled on several. Although I wish we had more camp slots still, I'm going to check out a few of these for future endeavors.
Wow!! Turtle taking risks! Love it! Go Turtle Go!
Very happy to see your Savage Divide spot is exactly where I have a camp. 😊
7:41 great spot, my friend have his camp there and right where you look at the pack of brahmin that's where I have my camp, love that spot.
That last location is really nice. 👍👍
I like these picks. I am gonna try out that sweet lake/cave but now also on the look out for containers to convert to donation boxes!
@@geishapup Thanks for the tips!
We have an angry turtle, and now we have a heroic llama!
Damn I thought I discovered that cranberry bog camp spot
Thank you, very useful and good locations, I will try some of them.
For me it's definitely the terrain and looks that matters. However this is wonderful for the resource spots. Thanks for the map and video!
Decent list. I'm glad your requirements are different from mine. Means my CAMP spots won't be used as much 😙
Wow Thanks Turtle! I asked a while ago for you to do this and you did! Thanks so much man, you rock!!!!!!
Thankfully my secret spot is still a secret
Me too, high five!
Times 3😂😂
What's your secret spot
@@thedjdiamondmagician351not telling you
Here I thought we had found very spot but thank you for letting us know we shall begin searching
Since enemies are attracted to Fusion generators, I put mine on a springboard and make sure I wire to something and then I trip the springboard. My fusion generator just vanishes and cannot be destroyed
Thanks for the tips angry turtle 🐢
Had a great camp at that savage divide location until I accidentally deleted it
Might have to build a little raider settlement in that toxic valley spot😅 awesome vid👍
I already have a camp at one of these locations, but I won’t say which. 😁😂
Sick, been meanin to look around for the best place to put a camp for a junk pit
Where would you build if you WANTED a steady stream of random enemies walking into your camp?
Well so much for my fav spot. Now everyone will be there
I get more value out of being near a vendor, scrip machine, and dirty water. Esp charelston station where I can build right up to the station platform. And one near eviction notice where I usually end up overuncumbered with legendaries.
I wasn’t aware wood extractors were a thing, they don’t appear on there resource map- the interactive one at least the one I have
Hey turtle, I'm a new subscriber, I was wondering if it's actually good to put your camp near a workshop? I Googled it and didn't see any clear answer to the question.
Turtle this maybe a dumb question but how did you get the over head looking down view to see the radius of your camp? I'd like to use that for the bog location with the two resources
when placing camp use third person and hold v to look around the high overhead view in this video was photo mode
@@AngryTurtle thank you. Great video by the way.
I set up my camp in San Francisco, now i get paid to be homeless
Hi, Turtle.
5:08 I have a question about the enemy spawns at the location. So I can probably set up defenses and turrets if needed
11:42 I like this particular location but it is somewhat popular especially when meat week and mothman equinox begins
Awesome video!!! going to move my camp forsure! anyone seen a double lead though?
Prolly easier to server hop Nuka world on tour where the game booths are. There's a pyramid stack ppl never loot .
@@saltfarmer4008 oh like a stack of lead bars or something? ill check it out thanks
Lead weights(i.e. dumbbells) can be found at the prison yard with super mutant event occurs. Also the sludge in ash heap has them. My buddy and I often go here for lead.
Is there any places to get Cooper and aluminum or segment and aluminum
Im going to have to work on my other camps because my camp spot will now be more popular than it already is lol
Omg my camp is exactly at that spot in the savage divide!
Wolf attack, classic :-)
I have not used the Gatling Laser since they fixed the problem with starting with 999 with the Power User perk card and it jumps down to 600 after the first shot. I bought a bloodied ultracite gatling laser today. Now it counts down 400 shots from 999 then registers ZERO and loads a new fusion core. It's WORSE. Now I have only 400 shots instead of 600.
I've not ran into a camp In the #2 spot.. bet you I will in the next couple days. 😅
So just started playing the game but the first base location, isn't that near where nukes are dropped all the time? What do you do about that and what happens? I imagine your base just goes poof lol
you can escape when someone is trying to nuke your camp, none of the spots in the video is in standard nuking locations
What is the exact location spot of the very first one?
re: Cranberry Bog
Yes, yes, please I support all players camping in cranberry bog to camp near the copper deposit and not the junk pile at Thunder Mountain Substation alone. That deathclaw Thunder Mountain will totally wreck your camp.
What is the acid used for?
high quantities needed for melting ore
Over 1000 hours and I still haven't harvested blight one time. Maybe someday
I have 4 camps around the map and the other day I joined a sever and every single one of my camp spots were already taken😅
Tutel 🐢
i only look for nice sights but unfortunately most regions are kinda ugly and cliffs are pretty hard to build on
at the end i managed to a get spot that's really hard to fit in so i never have to server hop and enemies constantly spawn, bunch of legendaries too
Me watching hoping he doesn't show my base location... I don't want to move or server hop every time I log on! Just kidding, thanks for the video!
You farming really leed at normal places not in luck hole mine? 😮
Very nice
My privileged ah living in the golf course cuz I what grass 💀💀💀
darn wolfs lol 7 mins in
Thanks for not recommending my fav spot. :p but then, resource farming is very much not important to me, so- different priorities- different camps.
Cousin Sven?
Hoek?
Get griefed foodies 😂 your fave spot just got outted by the OG
❤🐢
Just want a flat spot

I'm not sharing my secret locations, everyone will want them 😅
👍👍👍👍
