When GiHun talked about sacrificing people for the greater good, the front man knew he had already changed and was willing to have people die. The front man probably thought so too when he was younger.
This is what I thought about too when watching the show. The front man knew he had proved his point when Gi Hun didn't mind sacrificing people to achieve his goal. I think this is also why he betrayed them in the end, perhaps if Gi Hun hadn't made that choice the front man would keep being on their side since he wouldn't be satisfied until he had proven his point about people being trash / disposable.

I believe the Front Man was just like Gi-Hun. He was a good guy before playing in the Squid Games. He was broken by it. He tried to come back and stop the games, but was stopped. And ended up becoming the organization's pawn.
Isn’t the fact he used to be good more or less confirmed as we know he was the brother of the cop. I think the whole point is Gi-Hun and the front man are two sides of the same coin one turned bad and the other doesn’t which I think will make the front man change back (but possibly at the cost of life) in the third season as he still sees Gi-Hun doing what is right despite everything he’s been through.
Not to mention that in ho also returned home and discovered his wife dead, much like Gi-hun coming home to find his mother lying lifeless on the floor.
I realy believe what frontman told Gi-hun was truth. About joining games for his wife and unborn child. If its true, then Frontman is realy just like Gihun. Probably returned broken yet victorious, too late to save his wife and child. And what to do with the money now.....?
I also have a theory: At the beginning of episode 6, during the first round of mingle, the shaman entered the room with the group. She looked at Jun-hee (n°222) and then at her baby bump, then looked at Gi-Hun and said there is a reason he lived longer that he was destined to and a reason he was brought here. I do think this might have something to do with season 3. Will Gi-Hun do something for Jun-hee? Like helping her with the baby or something?
I think many of the guards might be former players. Remember in the first season, 13 people opted not to return to the games after the initial vote to end them. The organization said they will monitor those people. I bet after a while they approach them later to recruit them to become guards, knowing they are still in desperate situations and can keep secrets.

you’re missing an important detail about the female guard number 11. She’s not living in her car and in poverty because she can’t make ends meet… she’s spending all of her money on private investigators to search for her daughter. There’s a scene in the first episodes where she walks by gi Han in an office where he is privately paying someone to look after his friends son from season 1. She recognizes him implying she’s been a guard for years and in many games and then goes on to try to hand an envelope full of money to open another search for her daughter. The overall importance is the show is implying that regardless of reason or motive people forced to live in “the system” will never have enough wealth and will always feel the pull back to “the games” to obtain more.
Can you imagine if there was a literal version of hot potato? I'd not be surprised if there was, as that would be definitely entertaining for the VIP's, to say the least.
Heres a crazy prediction: maybe gi-hun will somehow get an opportunity to play against the frontman for the position and if gi-hun becomes frontman maybe he can actually put a stop to the games

While I enjoyed Season 2, I did miss Ali, Sang-woo and Sae-byeok. While I’m glad there were no flashbacks to them, they were all good characters season 1 introduced. Glad season 2 gave us some good ones too.
By the end I wated Sae to win more than Gi Hun. I really felt for her in the marble game. She built this connection with the South Korean girl and when she sacrificed herself you could see Sae really torn and upset. It felt like she had to win for her. Also once Gi Hun learnt that she used his money to help her brother. He started to care for her and build trust and a bond with her. She was no longer a thief but a friend. It was probably better she stole his money than him trying to get away with it at the time.
Prediction 1. The youtuber, the mother, the son, the pregnant woman and the trans woman will all survive. 2. Player 246 isnt actually dead and soldier 11 only wounded him and he survives as well. 3. Soldier 11 will be aided by Jun ho and his squad in invading the island 4. Number 001 will die without anyone's knowledge and Gi-hun will secretly take on his identity by either switching jackets. So he can get in touch with VIP's can arrest and/or kill them. 5. Player 388 will sacrifice himself to make up for his cowardice in the season 2 finale.
4.) Gi-Hun assumes 001 is dead. He faked his death on the radio to return as the frontman. Though now that he has seen his face, when the mask is taken off, Gi-Hun will be shocked when he sees 001.
This promising theory I’ve heard which I’m sure is 100% true is that Il nam (og 001) is/was in ho (front man) dad. You can hear jun ho (cop) and his mom at the dinner table talking about how his brother and his father are absent from thier lives. Meaning they were absent doing the games together and il nam wanted the games to go on and figured the only person he could trust with these sick games is his son that was also in the games prior to becoming the front man
Also one major part I missed was that in one of the first episodes in season one when they are all in the game, they get food and gi hun wanted chocolate milk instead of regular (i forgot if he can’t drink milk or he just doesn’t like it) but he catches up to il nam who is walking away with his food and as he talks to him about the milk il nam says “your just like my son” with not drinking milk. The in season 2 we see in ho disguised as one of the players and getting a meal with milk and giving it away saying “I can’t drink milk”
I’m not on board with this theory in the slightest. Il nam, the man with so much money who was bored and decided to make these games, didn’t help his son’s dying wife? Watched his son play games where he could have died, for fun? Il nam talked about his son and family often so it’s not likely he didn’t know who he was. Also it’s unlikely In ho and Jun ho aren’t blood related because donating a kidney means they’d have to be a match. So it’s either they both got reallllly lucky or they’re related by blood. I see everyone brings up the milk situation and I think everyone forgets In ho is manipulating Gi hun to try and get closer/gain his trust. At the end of season 1, In ho refers to Il nam as “sir”, like a boss and arrived to the room after he died/wasn’t there for him. I just don’t see or feel how them being related would work for the story. All that being said if I’m wrong then so be it but it all seems really unlikely..
Me too! I know his wife was ill and died 5 years ago when this took place and was pregnant, along with him getting a bribe. Maybe that bribe got him into the games?
I think the frontman is 100% the old man’s son. A little detail was the old man talked about his son being lactose intolerant, then the frontman when given milk, doesn’t have it.

Why do they allow anybody to win? Why do they allow anybody to leave? Why not take the winner alive, keep all the money, and harvest the entire body fresh? Surely this all started with aim or harvesting organs to sell on the black market to wealthy and desperate buyers? Everything else is a byproduct of that. Entertainment, gambling. They could even pick several contestants to 'win' based on their medical records. How healthy they were and how rare their bloodtype is etc. The games are already unfair having an insider pretend to be a contestant. It doesn't make any sense to let them leave.
My theories:- I believe In-Ho has been in charge since he won his version of Squid Games. Il-Nam was once in charge but since he found out about his tumour, he needed a successor to replace him so In-Ho decided to become The Front Man. Seeing as though Gi-Hun has nothing left back home, The Front Man will try and recruit him so he can return home to his family. The Front Man will offer Gi-Hun a choice: Join replace him or Jun-Ho dies. The games are international. David Fincher is said to be reimagining Squid Games for the US. Jun-Hee will have to sacrifice the baby if she wants to make it to the final round. We also need to know how and why the Fisherman knows about the island and why he was recruited by the organisers.
Youre right at some point that storyline between gi hun and the front man will be resolved. At the same time Jun ho's character arc involving his brother the front man will be addressed too. I could see the writers pitting the two guys against each other. I can picture that the games have a number of local fishermen who are tasked with keeping an eye on traffic going nearby the island so its not discovered. Maybe the games spared their lives at one point in exchange for their service
One thing that I thought was unusual was that Seong Gi-hun promises his group that if they make it out alive, he'll financially take care of them all. However, some of those in that group STILL vote to continue the games. Why? 🤔
Cause some people are just pure greedy, it clouds judgement. This is highlighted when player 007 is pleading with someone from the O side to come over to the X side. He promises to buy everyone a meal. This is scoffed at by player 100, who says he'll buy the whole ranch with the prize money. Himself, like many other players, have been consumed by greed Like player 100, a lot of them on the O side are in a lot of debt. So the current prize money wasn't good enough. They don't trust Gi-Hun & some of them don't even believe he's won the games. So that plays a factor as well. It also proves the front mans points that people will still continue the games cause of how greedy & desperate they are.
Now in season 3 all eyes are on Hyeon-ju. The best diva ever. And also one of the character who going to be the main character in season 3. Hope he will not die.
Another Question: Will Kang No-eul betray the games now that Player 246 (the little girl's father) is presumably dead? Or is he even dead and will he be "extracted"? The Organ harvesting scheme is still going on and I think that aspect will come into play.
I don't think he is dead. The actor himself is a kind of an A-list in South Korea and we are given enough backstory about his issue in the 1st two episodes. My assumption is that he was shot by No 11, but not dead. This will then be the bridge for the story to dive deeper into the organ harvesting storyline.
I think for season 3 they’ll let the blue team know that Gi-Hun actually did win the game, maybe they’ll make the game’s mandatory from now on and no more voting, which they’ll regret as they’re force to play the games now so the main guy shows Gi-Hun that he really can’t change the world, they’ll break Gi-Hun and he’ll probably end up the main head of the games now
I just also want to add that I'm suspicious of the boat captain from the very start. My guess is that he was recruited by the Front Man to find the body of his brother, as obviously, he didn't really intend to kill his brother from episode 1 shooting him only his shoulder. But he also made sure that the boat captain to watch his brother and made sure he won't find the island again.
One aspect of the frontman i don't think is discussed enough is his personal stake in this. Remember, he was once a participant in the games, which means he probably went through a very similar experience to Gi-Hun. But while Gi-Hun does his best to ensure nobody else is exploited by the games, the frontman straight up joined the exploiters. That's why he insists so much on the equality of the games, and also why he personally joined in Season 2. He needed to prove to himself that he deserves to be up there, that he was the strongest, and that anyone else in his situation would've done the same.
The first one, I am gonna absolutely die if that doesn't get answered. Every time there's an interaction with the guards, I get this excitement cus I have SO many questions about them and I wanna see them all unmasked for some reason, I just need answers so badly. That's one of the things I loved most about s2, they introduced a character who was interesting, but not that interesting until I see her dress up in the damn soldier uniform instead of the player uniform. And I love the interactions between her and the organ harvesters and definitely need more of that
By the end, I was thinking that the front man secretly wanted to end the games too. He had so many opportunities to kill Gi-hun especially at the end when Jung-bae was killed. Why was Gi-hun spared in that moment?
Well, this game is created to serve a small group of very rich and influential people (The VIP's). They are the ones paying for it all, and just like gladiators fought and died in the colosseum for amusement, the people watching wants twists and turns, they want to be entertained. And this must have been one of the biggest highlights as long as the games have existed. A winner coming back, playing against all odds to end the very games they are paying for. The entertainment value is through the roof, they are not going to kill off the one man that brings the most joy, if they can avoid it.
I would imagine any previous winners either delved headfirst into a life of depression anxiety drugs and alcohol..... or they become shareholders in the game and profit from the organ harvesting. It would depend on the nature of the person deep inside and how they deal with trauma. Some want answers, some try to forget, some succumb to the power trip and excitement of winning such a big gamble.
The organ harvesting isn't official. It's all under the table, set up by the guards to profit off of dying people. If the shareholders cared about organ harvesting, they wouldn't hire a player to do the harvesting, neither would they ask the guards to deliver the bodies in secret and pretend as if they are actually incinerating them.
Heard a theory that the guards are the ones who picked the red Ddakji when they played against the recruiter. Players chose the blue/green. So basically the color of your Ddakji determined your uniform/role.
I’ve also heard this but if you re watch season 1 episode 1 when they’re doing the initial showing of people playing their is a mix of players using a blue or red Ddakji and plus the guard recruitment is clearly different given Guard #11 is just approached with a card and not persuaded with cash from Ddakji
@@francoissaad6576 Guard 11 is a regular, that's why she was recruited directly. The Head of Security (or whoever that guy was that she was sent to for not cooperating with organ harvesting) says something on the lines of, "remember how I found you, killing an entire unit all by yourself trying to get to the border" which implies they have history. Also the fact that no words were exchanged when she got the card, she just received it and immediately knew the assignment.
I think the frontman was like Gi-Hun, a person that cared about everyone too much and wanted to end the games after he won. Once he got out, he was driven to end the games and went back to end it but at the expense of his family most likely. He was super triggered by the kids comment by T.O.P making me think that he didn’t know about it while he was away so he blames himself and broken by his actions to return home to face his family. So now as front man he has more control and doing what he thinks is going to stop the games. Even if it means sacrificing people for the long game of gaining enough power to change the game to favor more players. Hence the surprise look on Gi-Hun with the change of the vote after every game and the money gets divided by every remaining player. Atleast everyone can walk away with money and more people survive
Two of the coolest Season 3 theories I've seen are: One, the Front Man is actually the son of the old man, the creator of the games. So the games were actually passed down from father to son, plus front man was at the old mans bedside when he died. Two, Gi-Hunn will end up becoming the Front Man! Even though, as it stands, that character change and motivations change wouldn't make sense, seeing Chi-Hun come full circle to being in charge of the games and seeing him in the Front Man mask and attire would be absolutely mind blowing

I have a theory. For the games it’s always Red Light, Green Light as the first one and Squid Game as the final one. All other games are picked at random. Only proof I have is that only those two games are played in the same place and the guards helmets are all in the shapes that are used for that game
when they play the game with the recruiter a lot of the people in the game were seen choosing red. i think if you choose blue then you are recruited as a guard and red you play the game. maybe but idk

The game Ddakji they play before they’re invited. It’s the game where you have to slap the 2 cards on the floor to get the other to flip. I’d like to guess if you’re the red card, then you would be a guard. If you’re the blue card then you’d be a player. Probably not true but it’s a good theory.
That is wrong and it has been confirmed because when they first arrive in season 1and 2 there’s people that pick the red card and they are still players it shows on the big screen Also, I forgot her name but number 11 didn’t even play the card game and became a guard.

I know this is a stretch but I would love it if the guards and the VIPS were made to play the games. also I hope the final Squid Game is with every winner from around the world, playing one more time. Like a champions tournament
According to the recruiter in beginning of the season 2, he was working as the guards before since he was young and then he later has shoot his own dad. Also, some of the guards are younger, probably either got kidnapped or getting sold by their parents or maybe just like Na-eul, getting hired by them.
I really believe that the Frontman also wants to end the games that's why he infiltrated the games to see how Gi Hun's resolve on ending it. He hoped that Gi Hun would be the answer he was looking for. He was clearly disappointed in Episode 6 of Season 2 that Gi Hun would sacrifice others just for his cause.
It's 45.6 billion won, there are 456 players (Gi-Hun being the last), so 100 million per player goes into the pot. It's explained in both seasons when they talk about the prize money.

It would be interesting to see Netflix making new versions of Squid Game in other countries. Even if it was a one time thing where they show multiple countries in one season. Or create multiple versions in different countries and then have one where all the winners of different countries play an altered version. Although, that would take a lot of time to do that.
My question is why did the head dude put himself in the game and "let" 456 do what he did as far as starting the uprising and letting a lot of the workers get killed. The only thing I can think of is maybe he was getting board and wanted some extra entertainment or to really f*ck with 456 cause he wants to stop him from ending the game or a combination of both.
The uprising was planned. Front Man manipulated the whole thing. If it wasnt for him, they may have all voted to leave after redlight greenlight. The guards were also told to prepare for the 'special game'
He kept the main char friend alive just to mess with him mentally, The front man already achieved his goal when GI-hun deemed those players as a mere sacrifice instead of looking at them as humans

By sacrificing his team for the greater good, Gi Hun has blood on his hands too. The running theme of the show is that human nature doesn’t change. That’s why the game exists. Human nature is not gonna change by season 3. Imagine if at the end of Season 3, Gi Hun becomes the new Frontman. What if In Ho had been nudging him slowly towards being his successor the whole time?
001 from season 1 was their dad right? Or was he only one of the guys’ father (half siblings) bc he refused the milk and he was there when 001 died (im not finna butcher the names so hopefully this made sense what i was talkin about😅)
I think Gi-Hun is gonna be forced to play in multiple games for years as punishment or have to play in one big deadlier Squid Game in the next one. It'd be punishment to make him play in the games he couldn't stop and continue watching people die an kill each other, but can't stop it.
I think the bigger question is, Is In-Ho really keen on finding the island to stop the Squid Game? Or is he so focused to actually find his brother and confront him? Will him finding the island actually lead him to fight against them? Is he actually against the injustice right now?

I actually thought No eul - no.11 guard was Sae's(3rd place contestant from S1) mother. She got out of North Korea and was looking for her daughter. Turns out that guy was ripping Gi Hun off. The mother already escaped and she was paying this tracker to find her daughter but he knew she was already dead. So he was taking both Gi Hun's and No Eul's money.
I couldn’t stop thinking about why Jun-ho lied to Gi-hun about not seeing the Front Man’s face. Sure, he might have been trying to win his trust, but I can’t shake the feeling that there’s more to the brothers’ story than we’ve been shown. Perhaps we’re being set up for a protagonist-antagonist role reversal?
Also, I can’t stop noticing the good cop/bad cop dynamic and how they framed In-ho as the villain, despite him trying to save his wife’s failing liver and even donating a kidney to his brother. This feels tied to the organ trafficking on the island. While they present it as a side story with no connection to the Front Man, I can’t help but sense it will circle back to the main plot. Could Jun-ho actually be the Front Man? He would have the means to come and go from the island if the boat captain is on his side. Or perhaps both brothers are running the operation together, driven by some twisted altruistic motives linked to the organ trade.
I really hope jun-hee makes it out alive, I feel like that mini rebellion will spark something in season 3. I also believe the shaman lady is very important as well for what we may see in season 3. She made a lot of interesting points. I do think hopefully this won't happen but this show in unpredictable, I think they will fail to stop the games.
Some of these questions are kinda answered already by fan theories. One question I want to be answered is, why are the bunk beds still in the same position after 3 games? Last season, beds occupied by dead players are removed. But now, it still remains in place.
I believe 456 will die in season three and the woman who is pregnant will be able to walk away with the money. There could be other winners, but I don’t foresee him wanting to live beyond what he’s done to help save others. He’s already sacrificed the relationship with his ex-wife and his daughter, he already had all the money stashed and barely used it except for investigating a way to get back into the games, so he really doesn’t have too much to lose after acknowledging that he was willing to let some people die in order for his calls to come to life.

The Guards are chosen at random just like players. Remember or go back to the episode when recruiter is talking about being in the games with a mask and when it came down to a game and had to shoot a "pig" he realized it was his dad and shot his dad. The recruiter was a guard before. 2. Jun Hee baby is going to be taken cared by Guem ja. she stated that shes delivered babies before and also she brought a knife that was in hair clip. so jun hee is probably going to die and shes going to cut her open and take care of the baby as soon as her son dies in the game. 3. In ho dad is II nam son. When II nam says youre just like my son in being lactose season 2 you see in ho give his milk to jun hee that he cant drink it. II nam also said he would usually see his family but not anymore. in ho and his brother are step brothers probably something happened that he had to go away. 4. 246 is going be saved by 011 guard 5. gi hun and in hoo will be perm players a yingyang for squid games. gi hun is 456 the last number and in ho is 001 the first number. they are both going to keep playing the games to bet who wins and can change peoples minds to leave or stay.
I believe at the end of season 3 that Gi Hun will be alive and be brainwashed into being the new leader or be manipulated into being the new leader by possibly not just killing the front man who threatened his daughter's life but everyone he knows. It would be interesting to see the international squid games with Gi Hun being involved or if he wins the game a second time he will be put into the international games by force. I believe that if the pregnant lady gives birth the front man will take the baby and raises him/her but kill the lady and the dad.
The issue on my end. We have way too many people that we all want to survive.. lol but only 1 can. So 2 ways this plays out 1. Everyone dies but 1 .. 2. The main storyline people 456,222,120 will all survive in some way. And the game will forever be changed
They also need to answer if the game will reset or continue? I'm guessing the players who stayed in the room will continue to play and those who are not inside will be disqualified. They might also rig the games to choose who will die.
What I want to know is why Choi Woo-seok, after the death of his boss and Seong Gi-hun being trapped in the games, didn't just go back to the Pink hotel and help himself to that huge pile of cash on the bed? I mean jun-ho will find the island since we saw in trailer of season 2 that the guards are shooting from the outside so my theory is that the jun-ho will find out about the secret of captain park which will result in heartbreaking scene where he explains him that the frontman commanded captain park to protect him and avoid the island for his safety but after jun-ho tell him to show where the island is anyways he will tell him but captain park will somehow die after that jun-ho will secretly swim to the island sending the drone gathering proofs and swim back to the police station showing the proofs after realising that the games actually exist everyone will go to the island resulting in another battle with guards and i think that guards will win and it will appear that jun-ho got shot at both of his kidney which will result to frontman to come out and donating his last kidney which will kill frontman since he will have no kidneys but atleast his brother will survive

The other winners were all kind of shown in Season 1, where there are even more winners per year, according to the folders found on the basement. We don't know who they are, but there are certainly many winners. Probably they got the money and run away to a new life.

When GiHun talked about sacrificing people for the greater good, the front man knew he had already changed and was willing to have people die. The front man probably thought so too when he was younger.
This is what I thought about too when watching the show. The front man knew he had proved his point when Gi Hun didn't mind sacrificing people to achieve his goal. I think this is also why he betrayed them in the end, perhaps if Gi Hun hadn't made that choice the front man would keep being on their side since he wouldn't be satisfied until he had proven his point about people being trash / disposable.

I think the whole point is Gi-Hun and the front man are two sides of the same coin one turned bad and the other doesn’t which I think will make the front man change back (but possibly at the cost of life) in the third season as he still sees Gi-Hun doing what is right despite everything he’s been through.

At the beginning of episode 6, during the first round of mingle, the shaman entered the room with the group. She looked at Jun-hee (n°222) and then at her baby bump, then looked at Gi-Hun and said there is a reason he lived longer that he was destined to and a reason he was brought here.
I do think this might have something to do with season 3. Will Gi-Hun do something for Jun-hee? Like helping her with the baby or something?

The organization said they will monitor those people. I bet after a while they approach them later to recruit them to become guards, knowing they are still in desperate situations and can keep secrets.

you’re missing an important detail about the female guard number 11. She’s not living in her car and in poverty because she can’t make ends meet… she’s spending all of her money on private investigators to search for her daughter. There’s a scene in the first episodes where she walks by gi Han in an office where he is privately paying someone to look after his friends son from season 1. She recognizes him implying she’s been a guard for years and in many games and then goes on to try to hand an envelope full of money to open another search for her daughter. The overall importance is the show is implying that regardless of reason or motive people forced to live in “the system” will never have enough wealth and will always feel the pull back to “the games” to obtain more.

While I enjoyed Season 2, I did miss Ali, Sang-woo and Sae-byeok. While I’m glad there were no flashbacks to them, they were all good characters season 1 introduced. Glad season 2 gave us some good ones too.
By the end I wated Sae to win more than Gi Hun. I really felt for her in the marble game. She built this connection with the South Korean girl and when she sacrificed herself you could see Sae really torn and upset. It felt like she had to win for her. Also once Gi Hun learnt that she used his money to help her brother. He started to care for her and build trust and a bond with her. She was no longer a thief but a friend. It was probably better she stole his money than him trying to get away with it at the time.

This promising theory I’ve heard which I’m sure is 100% true is that Il nam (og 001) is/was in ho (front man) dad. You can hear jun ho (cop) and his mom at the dinner table talking about how his brother and his father are absent from thier lives. Meaning they were absent doing the games together and il nam wanted the games to go on and figured the only person he could trust with these sick games is his son that was also in the games prior to becoming the front man
Also one major part I missed was that in one of the first episodes in season one when they are all in the game, they get food and gi hun wanted chocolate milk instead of regular (i forgot if he can’t drink milk or he just doesn’t like it) but he catches up to il nam who is walking away with his food and as he talks to him about the milk il nam says “your just like my son” with not drinking milk. The in season 2 we see in ho disguised as one of the players and getting a meal with milk and giving it away saying “I can’t drink milk”

I’m not on board with this theory in the slightest. Il nam, the man with so much money who was bored and decided to make these games, didn’t help his son’s dying wife? Watched his son play games where he could have died, for fun? Il nam talked about his son and family often so it’s not likely he didn’t know who he was. Also it’s unlikely In ho and Jun ho aren’t blood related because donating a kidney means they’d have to be a match. So it’s either they both got reallllly lucky or they’re related by blood.
I see everyone brings up the milk situation and I think everyone forgets In ho is manipulating Gi hun to try and get closer/gain his trust.
At the end of season 1, In ho refers to Il nam as “sir”, like a boss and arrived to the room after he died/wasn’t there for him. I just don’t see or feel how them being related would work for the story.

My theories:-
I believe In-Ho has been in charge since he won his version of Squid Games. Il-Nam was once in charge but since he found out about his tumour, he needed a successor to replace him so In-Ho decided to become The Front Man.
Seeing as though Gi-Hun has nothing left back home, The Front Man will try and recruit him so he can return home to his family. The Front Man will offer Gi-Hun a choice: Join replace him or Jun-Ho dies.
The games are international. David Fincher is said to be reimagining Squid Games for the US.
Jun-Hee will have to sacrifice the baby if she wants to make it to the final round.
We also need to know how and why the Fisherman knows about the island and why he was recruited by the organisers.
Youre right at some point that storyline between gi hun and the front man will be resolved. At the same time Jun ho's character arc involving his brother the front man will be addressed too. I could see the writers pitting the two guys against each other.
I can picture that the games have a number of local fishermen who are tasked with keeping an eye on traffic going nearby the island so its not discovered. Maybe the games spared their lives at one point in exchange for their service
One thing that I thought was unusual was that Seong Gi-hun promises his group that if they make it out alive, he'll financially take care of them all. However, some of those in that group STILL vote to continue the games. Why? 🤔
Cause some people are just pure greedy, it clouds judgement. This is highlighted when player 007 is pleading with someone from the O side to come over to the X side. He promises to buy everyone a meal. This is scoffed at by player 100, who says he'll buy the whole ranch with the prize money. Himself, like many other players, have been consumed by greed
Like player 100, a lot of them on the O side are in a lot of debt. So the current prize money wasn't good enough. They don't trust Gi-Hun & some of them don't even believe he's won the games. So that plays a factor as well.
It also proves the front mans points that people will still continue the games cause of how greedy & desperate they are.
Now in season 3 all eyes are on Hyeon-ju. The best diva ever. And also one of the character who going to be the main character in season 3. Hope he will not die.

Another Question: Will Kang No-eul betray the games now that Player 246 (the little girl's father) is presumably dead? Or is he even dead and will he be "extracted"? The Organ harvesting scheme is still going on and I think that aspect will come into play.
I don't think he is dead. The actor himself is a kind of an A-list in South Korea and we are given enough backstory about his issue in the 1st two episodes. My assumption is that he was shot by No 11, but not dead. This will then be the bridge for the story to dive deeper into the organ harvesting storyline.
Don't think he's dead, but should anything happen to him, it just might cause No-eul to snap. She's very close to the edge as is.

I think for season 3 they’ll let the blue team know that Gi-Hun actually did win the game, maybe they’ll make the game’s mandatory from now on and no more voting, which they’ll regret as they’re force to play the games now so the main guy shows Gi-Hun that he really can’t change the world, they’ll break Gi-Hun and he’ll probably end up the main head of the games now
I just also want to add that I'm suspicious of the boat captain from the very start. My guess is that he was recruited by the Front Man to find the body of his brother, as obviously, he didn't really intend to kill his brother from episode 1 shooting him only his shoulder. But he also made sure that the boat captain to watch his brother and made sure he won't find the island again.
One aspect of the frontman i don't think is discussed enough is his personal stake in this. Remember, he was once a participant in the games, which means he probably went through a very similar experience to Gi-Hun. But while Gi-Hun does his best to ensure nobody else is exploited by the games, the frontman straight up joined the exploiters. That's why he insists so much on the equality of the games, and also why he personally joined in Season 2. He needed to prove to himself that he deserves to be up there, that he was the strongest, and that anyone else in his situation would've done the same.
The first one, I am gonna absolutely die if that doesn't get answered. Every time there's an interaction with the guards, I get this excitement cus I have SO many questions about them and I wanna see them all unmasked for some reason, I just need answers so badly. That's one of the things I loved most about s2, they introduced a character who was interesting, but not that interesting until I see her dress up in the damn soldier uniform instead of the player uniform. And I love the interactions between her and the organ harvesters and definitely need more of that
By the end, I was thinking that the front man secretly wanted to end the games too. He had so many opportunities to kill Gi-hun especially at the end when Jung-bae was killed. Why was Gi-hun spared in that moment?

The Front Man's goal is to completely undermine and break Gi-hun, not kill him...yet...
Well, this game is created to serve a small group of very rich and influential people (The VIP's). They are the ones paying for it all, and just like gladiators fought and died in the colosseum for amusement, the people watching wants twists and turns, they want to be entertained. And this must have been one of the biggest highlights as long as the games have existed. A winner coming back, playing against all odds to end the very games they are paying for. The entertainment value is through the roof, they are not going to kill off the one man that brings the most joy, if they can avoid it.
I would imagine any previous winners either delved headfirst into a life of depression anxiety drugs and alcohol..... or they become shareholders in the game and profit from the organ harvesting.
It would depend on the nature of the person deep inside and how they deal with trauma.
Some want answers, some try to forget, some succumb to the power trip and excitement of winning such a big gamble.
The organ harvesting isn't official. It's all under the table, set up by the guards to profit off of dying people. If the shareholders cared about organ harvesting, they wouldn't hire a player to do the harvesting, neither would they ask the guards to deliver the bodies in secret and pretend as if they are actually incinerating them.
Heard a theory that the guards are the ones who picked the red Ddakji when they played against the recruiter. Players chose the blue/green. So basically the color of your Ddakji determined your uniform/role.
I’ve also heard this but if you re watch season 1 episode 1 when they’re doing the initial showing of people playing their is a mix of players using a blue or red Ddakji and plus the guard recruitment is clearly different given Guard #11 is just approached with a card and not persuaded with cash from Ddakji
@@francoissaad6576 Guard 11 is a regular, that's why she was recruited directly. The Head of Security (or whoever that guy was that she was sent to for not cooperating with organ harvesting) says something on the lines of, "remember how I found you, killing an entire unit all by yourself trying to get to the border" which implies they have history. Also the fact that no words were exchanged when she got the card, she just received it and immediately knew the assignment.
I think the frontman was like Gi-Hun, a person that cared about everyone too much and wanted to end the games after he won. Once he got out, he was driven to end the games and went back to end it but at the expense of his family most likely. He was super triggered by the kids comment by T.O.P making me think that he didn’t know about it while he was away so he blames himself and broken by his actions to return home to face his family.
So now as front man he has more control and doing what he thinks is going to stop the games. Even if it means sacrificing people for the long game of gaining enough power to change the game to favor more players. Hence the surprise look on Gi-Hun with the change of the vote after every game and the money gets divided by every remaining player. Atleast everyone can walk away with money and more people survive
Two of the coolest Season 3 theories I've seen are:
One, the Front Man is actually the son of the old man, the creator of the games. So the games were actually passed down from father to son, plus front man was at the old mans bedside when he died.
Two, Gi-Hunn will end up becoming the Front Man! Even though, as it stands, that character change and motivations change wouldn't make sense, seeing Chi-Hun come full circle to being in charge of the games and seeing him in the Front Man mask and attire would be absolutely mind blowing

According to the recruiter in beginning of the season 2, he was working as the guards before since he was young and then he later has shoot his own dad. Also, some of the guards are younger, probably either got kidnapped or getting sold by their parents or maybe just like Na-eul, getting hired by them.
I really believe that the Frontman also wants to end the games that's why he infiltrated the games to see how Gi Hun's resolve on ending it. He hoped that Gi Hun would be the answer he was looking for. He was clearly disappointed in Episode 6 of Season 2 that Gi Hun would sacrifice others just for his cause.

Square guards are the one responsible for recruiting guards whether it be prisoners,orphans,homeless people(not in heavy debt but has nothing,that is why guards there where either psychopaths or kids that are not afraid to shoot guns at people and people with necrophilia(the prisoners)

I think the forces 456 has is very small compared to what they have to deal with so i think once they get there which they will probabbly catch the traitor captain and make him say where the island is(because that is the only way they would know where it is really) they be outnumbered and jun ho makes a call to his police friend to help him in the shoot out

Hyun-ju i believe is gonna win if all games happen which in unlikely, i think 2 of the 3 games in the walls will happen and will probabbly be the one to help in the shootout if 456 forces enter the island with the help of 388 which will be filled in anger of letting down his friends from giving the bullets

For me honestly it has to be a 13 eps season needs so much progression and character development needed, i think its too late to add more characters to the series but lets see, there is definetly gonna be a second shootout where 388 will shine i swear it will be the most emotional scene in the show
It would be interesting to see Netflix making new versions of Squid Game in other countries. Even if it was a one time thing where they show multiple countries in one season. Or create multiple versions in different countries and then have one where all the winners of different countries play an altered version. Although, that would take a lot of time to do that.

My question is why did the head dude put himself in the game and "let" 456 do what he did as far as starting the uprising and letting a lot of the workers get killed. The only thing I can think of is maybe he was getting board and wanted some extra entertainment or to really f*ck with 456 cause he wants to stop him from ending the game or a combination of both.

I think Gi-Hun is gonna be forced to play in multiple games for years as punishment or have to play in one big deadlier Squid Game in the next one. It'd be punishment to make him play in the games he couldn't stop and continue watching people die an kill each other, but can't stop it.
I think the bigger question is, Is In-Ho really keen on finding the island to stop the Squid Game? Or is he so focused to actually find his brother and confront him? Will him finding the island actually lead him to fight against them? Is he actually against the injustice right now?

I actually thought No eul - no.11 guard was Sae's(3rd place contestant from S1) mother. She got out of North Korea and was looking for her daughter. Turns out that guy was ripping Gi Hun off. The mother already escaped and she was paying this tracker to find her daughter but he knew she was already dead. So he was taking both Gi Hun's and No Eul's money.
I couldn’t stop thinking about why Jun-ho lied to Gi-hun about not seeing the Front Man’s face. Sure, he might have been trying to win his trust, but I can’t shake the feeling that there’s more to the brothers’ story than we’ve been shown. Perhaps we’re being set up for a protagonist-antagonist role reversal?
Also, I can’t stop noticing the good cop/bad cop dynamic and how they framed In-ho as the villain, despite him trying to save his wife’s failing liver and even donating a kidney to his brother. This feels tied to the organ trafficking on the island. While they present it as a side story with no connection to the Front Man, I can’t help but sense it will circle back to the main plot. Could Jun-ho actually be the Front Man? He would have the means to come and go from the island if the boat captain is on his side. Or perhaps both brothers are running the operation together, driven by some twisted altruistic motives linked to the organ trade.
I really hope jun-hee makes it out alive, I feel like that mini rebellion will spark something in season 3. I also believe the shaman lady is very important as well for what we may see in season 3. She made a lot of interesting points. I do think hopefully this won't happen but this show in unpredictable, I think they will fail to stop the games.
Some of these questions are kinda answered already by fan theories.
One question I want to be answered is, why are the bunk beds still in the same position after 3 games? Last season, beds occupied by dead players are removed. But now, it still remains in place.
I believe 456 will die in season three and the woman who is pregnant will be able to walk away with the money. There could be other winners, but I don’t foresee him wanting to live beyond what he’s done to help save others. He’s already sacrificed the relationship with his ex-wife and his daughter, he already had all the money stashed and barely used it except for investigating a way to get back into the games, so he really doesn’t have too much to lose after acknowledging that he was willing to let some people die in order for his calls to come to life.

Remember or go back to the episode when recruiter is talking about being in the games with a mask and when it came down to a game and had to shoot a "pig" he realized it was his dad and shot his dad. The recruiter was a guard before.
2. Jun Hee baby is going to be taken cared by Guem ja. she stated that shes delivered babies before and also she brought a knife that was in hair clip. so jun hee is probably going to die and shes going to cut her open and take care of the baby as soon as her son dies in the game.
3. In ho dad is II nam son. When II nam says youre just like my son in being lactose season 2 you see in ho give his milk to jun hee that he cant drink it. II nam also said he would usually see his family but not anymore. in ho and his brother are step brothers probably something happened that he had to go away.
4. 246 is going be saved by 011 guard
5. gi hun and in hoo will be perm players a yingyang for squid games. gi hun is 456 the last number and in ho is 001 the first number. they are both going to keep playing the games to bet who wins and can change peoples minds to leave or stay.
I believe at the end of season 3 that Gi Hun will be alive and be brainwashed into being the new leader or be manipulated into being the new leader by possibly not just killing the front man who threatened his daughter's life but everyone he knows. It would be interesting to see the international squid games with Gi Hun being involved or if he wins the game a second time he will be put into the international games by force. I believe that if the pregnant lady gives birth the front man will take the baby and raises him/her but kill the lady and the dad.

The other winners were all kind of shown in Season 1, where there are even more winners per year, according to the folders found on the basement. We don't know who they are, but there are certainly many winners. Probably they got the money and run away to a new life.
