What a great video! After reading many books about trading and Japanese Candlestick Patterns, this video cuts through all the fluff and names of different types of patterns and give you WHAT you need to know regarding Candlesticks. I love how he spent time on market structure and context, those are very important especially when trading Price Action. Keep up the great work!

I always refused getting to know everything. Pattern, certain books... I self-taught myself with YT, google and logic and psychological thinking (it's like to finishing an endless puzzle which gives you more and more a clearer picture).
No one can really teach someone to daytrade a strategy. You need to know experience it.
The strategy need to have YOUR DNA.

Yes day trading needs to be in your own DNA thru your own experiences. Every successful trader uses the same strategy differently, yet produce similar results.

It is all about refining your strategy.
Your own ideas might be working. But there is always room for improvement.
I always work on my scanners to refine them.
Never stop working on your strategy. I love to improve my strategy. It is not work for me. It helps me to be more successful.
Keep in mind, that wir are in a very difficult time. Everything, what just "works" ATM might work extremly well, well the economy is getting back to normal state.
It is important to keep your head over water and catch every oppotunity you can get to use the market for your advantage.

candlestick patterns are extremely powerful specially on higher timeframes ( weekly and monthly ) and as you said when combined with support and resistance areas and when combined with relative volume between the current bar and the previous one ....... you can easily trade based on this idea only.

candlestick are powerful but when cluster of candles and convergence with western indicator used are much more powerful.. candlesticks indicates the reversals early but indicators confirms.... this is awesome video....

One point in the video was very interesting and belongs to the trendlines, because a horizontal trendline could be signal an entry- and exitpoint in one step, or not? In the video, I found that maybe a trader could enter a trade a littlebit earlier and could set his SL right under the horizontal trendline.

Awesome 👍 explanation.... It's very true that people tend to cram various candle sticks and don't understand their actual significance vis a vis their place of occurrence.... Also, people fail to identify CONFLUENCES by the help of SUPPORT, RESISTANCE, TREND LINE, LEVELS (Pivot, Fib.) to help themselves in the decision making process....
You rightly and in a very simplistic manner tried to DECLUTTER our mind from the mere jargons of different candle stick names to a more practical approach towards using them....

I had just watched someone go down $2800 in the red, and then bring it back up to $28 in the green at the very end.. After watching your video, I see that they did not use a losing trend line at all, and their trending up line was placed at the tops of the green candles wicks as well, instead of the bottom.. While if you know what you are doing already, maybe it wouldn't matter as much.. I just feel that most trends before they dip appear to have fast opening and closing, warning to sell, before a big drop.. First time watching anything on daytrading today, so like you say, sometimes the presentation of the candle and the location in the trend line doesn't even matter and could drop out after a high sell out, creating the big dual side by side candle effect..

Excellent video that captured it all within minutes. One question that no one seems to speak about within these tutorials is the time frame which candlestick reading is most beneficial. Is there anyway you can make a video on that? Meaning can you rely one into time frame more than another whole day trading or holding long trades? I moved to 5 min when day trading and year/week when playing monthly to 6-month trades. Are the patterns and/or candlesticks more accurate on the 2min or 5min or 15min or 1hour or daily or weekly etc.? Since staring, I’ve realized that so so many new traders (even existing traders) can’t seem to find the answer to this which makes it difficult to trust in your move. Hope you can help. Thanks.
