I did intermodal as an owner operator with Schneider National in Denver for several years and I liked it a lot and did really well. Scheider is my favorite trucking company. I've worked for Swift, Covenant, Werner and Landstar Ligon, so I have experience with a few companies. The one thing that impressed me was that Schneider always paid me, even for a few loads I forgot about. With Swift , if I didn't call on every load, they simply would not pay. The other things is that they pay for so many training related things. Swift also charged me $2, 500.00 for getting me my CDL in 1993.
Ballpark, what kind of money can an owner operator make a year in this Division...

Is the Atlanta(Fairburn) Area considered to be one of your busiest locations for Intermodal? Are Intermodal Drivers doing 20 loads a week, is 20 loads a week a realistic goal out of Atlanta?

You guys just need to live within 50 miles of Kearny NJ and have a Cdl A.
I sign up for your school for your company but my Recruiter kept lying a lot. I save the emails. Saying one thing. Than email something else. I was very happy to go to school. She said when I finishes school.I will be doing the job I applied for. Dont worrie about it.But before I got ready to go. She said when I I finish school. I get what ever job is open. I have a family. Cant do long haul. I turned down over 5 companys to work for you. Supervisor wont call me must be ok with the lying.

I get the feeling, that if I don't have all the questions to ask, no one will offer them. And that to me is a lie!
Even that simple!!
