PC is extremely simple to use. I don't understand how it is and less simple to use than a PS5. You press the power button, sign in, then launch the game. It's not rocket science
I get the graphical difference, but why does the PS5 version have this desaturated look to it? Turn the brightness down on your PS5. 1.0 looks like shit. It definitely doesn't have that by nature. Seems like a disingenuous comparison.
It's a problem with HDR being built into the PS5 4K format webm by default even when it's turned off. MP4 doesn't have this problem but it's in 1080p. Gotta convert the 4K webm over to mp4 before I can edit the video with Adobe Premiere and choose the right colorspace. BT.709 works but BT.2020 is better. I'm still experimenting with it but hope to have it fixed by next video.

@@johnbrooks2122 Because the whole point is to showcase the potential of what pc can do vs the potential of what a console can do. If they are using a pc with low-end specs equivalent to a console, it would not be an accurate nor would it be a fair comparison at all.
I'm a pc gamer, but I used to only play console games. The thing I liked about console was that every game was optimized to run a consistent frame rate. Just very accessible and consistent. With pc, running mods gives crazy new possibilities to games, and the graphics can be maxed out to a much higher degree.
You're right. I originally attributed the difference to dynamic resolution scaling but went to go recheck my settings and realized PS5 doesn't have an FOV slider (default: 75-80) but PC does and it was set to 100. My mistake on that. Will keep FOV on default for next comparison.
If he lowered the fov, he would have more fps than he does right now so it would actually look better than it does on this video since it would be a smoother image thanks to more frames. Since youtube only supports 60 fps, it makes no sense to not raise fov if you can get 60 fps or higher with maxed fov, the comparison would actually be even more unfair if he lowered the FOV since youtube can't display above 60 fps XD

Why is part of the PS5 screen so dim? It doesn't look like that in reality.
PS5 gameplay was recorded with HDR on but the PC didn’t use HDR so the video uploaded in SDR making the PS5 looked washed out.
