I've only used this once to sharpen my mower blade ruclips.net/user/postUgkxPDBfLu68o58Aw85O_J-zIFfjJARBhp-3 but so far very happy with it. I've never used one of these so took me a bit to figure out how to set it up but once I figured it out it did the job just fine. This is likely a single purpose tool for me to use on my mower blade and possibly the occasional axe sharpening so didn't see any need to spend a lot....this will do just fine!

Coming from a skilled diy'er/welder/fabricator, this would not be recommend for anyone without grinder experience!! I have been hurt and seen so many hurt from grinding/sanding disks, they average 30,000 rpm's people!! if you were to add too much corn or get can/blade off center/balance any things could turn ugly quite quickly. Your better off using blender or coffee grinder for the small amount at one time you get. I have seen a similar blade fitted to weed wacker for grinding in buckets, seem to work pretty good and you control the speed and it keeps things safety from your face. sorry.

I do the exact same thing except I use an upside down lawnmower and an oil barrel to grind entire corn stalks.
