Your man is good ma'am🤞👌 he won't struggle to speak IsiZulu or IsiXhosa . 👏👏👏
Yess❤
Yes, Zulu is a tonal language.. It's how you say it that determines what you actually mean.
True. So is Xhosa
It's hard to teach other people to do the click because we don't teach the children how to click. They learn by themselves. So u guys have to live with us to get them right.
This was a fun video guys.. thanks.. my cheeks are aching now from laughing 🤣🤣
Lol yes that’s EXACTLY how we would pronounce CiCi/Ciara’s name 😂😂. Fast learner 😂
🫠 this stressed us out!
In the Zulu language we have about 12 different sounding clicks that are done using different areas of the mouth and different parts of the tongue.
WTF!! - Well That's Funny!! 😆 L🤣L😂 !!! Never thought learning languages was so much fun!!!
Those were just the foundational clicks.😂 We also have deeper ones, which are a combination of letters, like, GC, GX, NX, NC (also including HL even though it’s not a click but close). These are a bit harder to master.
True. It only came to mind when I saw your comment.
There are two major language groups in South Africa, Nguni and Sotho. Sotho includes Tswana and Pedi. Venda is part of the Shona group which is mainly in Zimbabwe but stretches into Mozambique in the east and some areas of Botswana to the west.
For xhosa those are the easy one it goes harder the more you learn. Qi is easy than Nkq, Ci is easy than Gca. So in order for u to graduate to Nkqa, Ngca, Kre, Ngxu you will need to first pass the Ci, Ka, Xa, Rh. Even in primary school grade 1 they start with the ones you currently learning then the teacher graduates the kids to much harder clicks. It is like maths the start with easy then it goes hard the more you know❤❤❤❤ I takes time. The are Xhosa people who can not even pronounce some of the words
He's good 👍❤️❤️❤️ n she's trying .. I love you guys
The Nguni peopleof South Africa are the Zulus,Xhosas,Ndebeles and Swati- we all speak similar languages but interestinglythey're also different.IsiXhosa is intensively clicky that even I as a Zulu person struggle to pronounce the word let alone speak the language.IsiZulu is moderate while isiSwati is very soft on the clicks it almost sounds like a Zulu baby learning to speak isiZulu 🤣.IsiNdebele is sructured differentlyand it'shard to speak even though one would understand some of the words to then figure out what is being said.Kerp learning fam 👌🏾🇿🇦.
Very interesting
isiZulu is not moderate remember that majority of Zulu speakers today do not speak deep isiZulu and isiZulu is also a diverse language, there are many words with similar meanings and some words are more common than others
@@sinethembakhulu4458 I don't understand what you're saying because anyone who understand these languages knows that isiXhosa is very click intense and that in isiZulu the clicks are a bit few and moderate.I am Zulu and I know this for a fact!
Zimbabwean isiNdebele is closer to isiZulu than South African isiNdebele.
@@ianbeddowes5362 That's probably because those people were originally Zulu and not Ndebele in the SAn context- so what they speak is a variation of isiZulu.
i love how he said "Ipipi and no one knew wtf that is"🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
🤣🤣🤣
🤣🤣🤣🤣
🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂😂
Ngeke usasizakala😂😂😂
😂🤣😂🤣
"Icici" would mean an ear-ring, but I like how Mrs Mrs. Demouchet said "ipipi" and not ask herself what it means.😂
Did he just say pipi 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I also think I heard that, iyhoo this guy mara 🤣🤣🤣
😭😹😹Yep
😲ohh god he really said that
The lipstick tho 😂😂😂😂
"ipipi"😂😭...he wrong for that lol
You guys are getting there. First the CT slang, and now this. Getting your dose of SA culture. I was ROTF when Dion asked if you can click too hard or soft. I think the louder you click, just puts emphasis on the word. Like when you're excited, or upset, the click will come out violently 🤣🤣🤣. And the P, Dion is doing it right. Sorry CiCi
I think Swati would be way easier to learn as they soften their clicks. It sounds like Zulu but much softer.
We firstly have BANTU ETHNIC GROUP, which is the biggest group in africa!! The countries in Africa where the equator passes through and all the countries south of the Equator are from the same lineage. We are children of NTU, That's what BANTU translates to. Then you have the BANTU people in the far south called NGUNI, who adopted the clicking sound in they language from the khoi and San people! I can go to Malawi or Uganda and find some of the words we use are the same🤷 it's one big family 🤣😂
From Kenya and for the X I also found myself doing the neck thing and closing one eye 😅🤣🤣🤣🤭
Zulu language is the most easy language in South Africa in a way that everyone who come's in the country learn isiZulu before other languages. And we are good teachers by the way 😁
Icici= Earring
Cela= Ask
Cula= Sing
I enjoy your reactions 😁
I want to be adopted in South Africa
The click, the M's kiss, the oo's the p's the k's & teeth swishes are all spiritual, heavenly mantras automatically( all over Africa in most languages. ). The name also means ( statue, status). This is why naming ceremony, and dedication.
😹😹😹😹😭Yall killin' me today, I miss yall so much♥️🌹🌍🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦
❤️❤️ Where have you been?
Nami ngathi ngizwe athi ipipi 🤣🤣🤣
@@neomontja71 hai ulishilo iBabazi😭😹😹
@@TheDemouchetsREACT working and we having loadshedding(Electricity problems) in SA by the time I get home to watch some videos my battery is low and the power is out😭♥️♥️
@@njabulomwelase9169 athi ipolopolo lo baba kodwa 🤣🤣🤣
You guys are doing very well. Keep up the good work. Seningaqala nokucula manje ( you can start singing now)
yeah there are clicks that are softer than others, clicks also have variations for exam the C click has variation: Ch, nc, ngc and they all sound a little different with each letter you add. The more letters you add the harder the click will sound
You guys are hilarious 😂😂😂😂❤
I love you guys ❤️
The lady looks alot alike Sthandwa Nzuza ❤😍. A South Affican actress, Radio presenter...
haha you guys are too funny when you try click sounds
I'm here for "ipipi"😂😂😂🙊
When he says any questions, 😅😅😅I dont even know what he started with
Haa 'ipipi' 😂😂 got me
Tobaco Pipe is also called ipipi in Zulu for those who are shocked and laughing lol…
Your man is getting it Queen let him teach you🤣🤣🤣
Icici is an earring in XHOSA
Bro in the vid said "Colombia, Canada, Coca Cola" 💀💀
I Love You Guys...The More The Clicks The More Ancient A Language is. We're really one people it was the colonizer who seperated us emphasising language barriers but its really one language just spoken with a twist as per your location
Letter P in the South would be pronounced as letter b in the North😂😂😂
Ipipi 🤣🤣🤣🤣
@The Demouchets REACT I have been browsing looking for the link to your reactions form but I am failing. I wish there was a way I could add it to my favorites. I want to request reaction to Tshivenda Domba or Python dance. Thanks.

@@TheDemouchetsREACT Thank you 👏❤️
You’re welcome.
yeah she's doing toooo much 🤣🤣🤣she gets out of breath
That guy is naughty… ipipi?? 😂
He’s actually right 😂😂😂
Mr Dion is too good 🔥😅
He sounds like the Shaka Zulu character in that movie
Even when my uncles are in a conversation, I listen but waiting on someone to explain (Khoisan)
This man really said "ipipi" 🤣
"Ipipi, impono mpono" 🤣😂
Lol when you guys kept rewinding to let him say iPipi over and over again... 🧐
We were obviously trying to learn the language. We were not listening for that word.
@@TheDemouchetsREACT no fault of yours 🤣 it got awks here with my mom around.
🤣🤣
Tsonga or Shangaan is also Nguni so there's five.
imagine as a woman going around yelling IPIPI🤣🤣🤣
"Iqaqa lazi qikaqika kuqaqa ngomqolo laqhawuka uqhoqho"
You should practice with these
😳😳 Seeing it in written form is even trickier.
I could teach you guys how to say it
If you can get this then everything else would be much easier
Did he say iPipi??😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Girls he is just saying papa as in daddy
😂😂😂😂😂
Hey Team C you need to breath ipapa
@Dems......well tried 👌🏽with regular practice you will ace the clicks. And am happy because you will be able to pronounce my name. 🎉
In the other "clicks" video you reacted too, Cierra kept saying that they used to make the "Q" sounds at school but she didn't know what sound it was..... And that's how you say the "Q" sound.
The guy in this vid was not using the word that shocked everyone maliciously, in proper IsiZulu it means smoking pipe that old men use to smoke tobacco, and through time has been adopted to mean something else.
Yea...u must hear the H in Xhosa
This C is very painful, I'm a South African but I can't do it.
Did that man just say e pipi
*goes to Google*
😂😂😂😂😂
@@TheDemouchetsREACT ipipi means, a penis in Zulu language. Anyway I wish you guys can come and visit Kwa Zulu Natal because we have a lot of attractions n activities for tourist n I know u guys will definitely love them
Learn Swati it's much much more soft and subtle
I feel like you have to have all your natural teeth to speak Zulu.
There are several other Nguni languages in South Africa. Zulu, Swati, Xhosa and Ndebele are the recognized or rather major one's. A lot of past politics involved in that. The Colonial past and the apartheid education system.
Without H it is xosa
The guy is a bit extra though, lol. The P is usually softer than what he is demonstrating.
Testament of Asher - 7:6 “For this reason, you will be scattered like Dan and Gad, my brothers, you shall not know your own lands, tribe, or language.”
7:7 “But he will gather you in faith/truth through his compassion and on account of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.”
Zulus looking good for Gad - not know your own land, tribe or language.
that dude voice scare the hell outta me
So Zulu click language is supposed to be Xhosa?😁
Your husband is right. It’s just a P. Come on there is P in the English alphabet.
Zulu doesn't have that much clicks and it's easy that's why most people speak it but Xhosa sets the bar with clicks and it's difficult
how many clicks does Zulu have?
@@zaneleprincessngcobo1875 since your surname is Ngcobo it's no surprise uba inzule will reply to what I said which is true but you wouldn't ask me obububhanxa if you're really zulu coz you know what I said is true nina niyangingiza
I think you do too much 😅 which is why it's will be hard to pronounce in a good way
The man is sounding like he is speaking xhosa not zulu
Then you don’t anything about isiZulu.
Xhosa is pronounced like "tlosa" t-l-o-sa
Sierra said🤣 "that's too hard for me I can't open my mouth " 😭that's crazy to me ,that your guys mouths cannot do what my mouth can do literally...but I know when you keep on learning you'll be fluent in no time .
and yeah Ipipi means something that only Dion has out of the two of you😂😂😂🪦⚰
Don't try too hard. I It's like saying Papa as in daddy. Just more emphasis on the P sound. He is also overdoing it trying to explaining
😂😂😂😂😂
