I use them but I try to get students not to use them because they stick rigidly to them because they are easy tools. Problem is the encourage practitioners to press too hard on them. You also don’t develop the sense of dipping which is part of the rhythm of writing.

@@-mike-8134 they are great tools but people need to know when to graduate off and away from them. I always carry some with me when I am travelling.
