Cultures in the Classroom

In partnership with UMW’S James Farmer Multicultural Center, the museum welcomes educator Wunneanatsu Lamb-Cason (Ho-Chunk/Schaghticoke) to discuss her work to decolonize education. The program will discuss the lasting impact of government policy on indigenous communities and how we can support students through accurate representation while building awareness and understanding for interpreting Native American history and cultures.
