Don't worry nice shy people! we will gravitate towards each other and form a big blob and consume everyone else mwahahaha- oh...y-you...don't wanna blob? ok...
I remember watching all of your videos when deciding where to apply to uni. I'm now rewatching them to pass the time until I start at Sheffield! Can't wait!
Your video cheered me up :). I've had a rough few months, I under performed and was withdrawn from my engineering course at cambridge. I'll be starting uni at brunel, which isn't very good but probably the only choice I have until I sort things out. Everywhere I look I am reminded of how much I've messed up. Thank you for cheering me up.!
You always had that one person in halls in your first year who would discuss which place is the best either the south or north of England and the different accents and how they say a certain word.
I'm starting University for the first time this September at the grand old age of 22, and I am so excited. I think I'll be a whole other category, the "living a second teenage-hood"
The two that resemble me the most are the shy nice guy and the guy who never leaves his dorm room. Unfortunately, I will probably not do well in life, and I have no basis on which to judge whether I am nice or not. I'm just incredibly socially awkward.
Starting this october, im planning to be the person who lives at home and who you only ever see in lectures guy, similar to the dorm guy but even more reclusive.
I was the guy who rarely never left his dorm room, I had my nose buried in books because I had so much studying to do. Plus the rest of the dorm were people I didn't like. :)
Subscribed!! I loved this video!! I'm gonna be starting uni soon and I can't wait. Also, an I the only one who finds an uncanny resemblance with fleurdeforce?
Haha the guy who never leaves his room was in the room right above me. I didn't see him all year and only 40 people lived in my halls. I did hear him jumping on the floor most nights at 4am though. Thanks Fabian.
How wonderfully amusing. I'm going into my fifth year and i've met EVERY single one of those types!! brilliant!! Should've gone to sheffield uni, it's so much closer to home.
I think the point of university is to go through being all these people. I have got with so many guys, with a London accent, being posh and having a bangin' London accent all the while being Mr Shy.
I was a mixture! Between the shy person that's probably going to do better than everyone and they guy who discovers his hotness too quickly over the year. Haha :)
I know that now I should say something about Her fantastic humor, knowledge of the subject that She's speaking about and Her video editing skills... but She is SOOOO CUTEEEEE :)
I never had the misfortune to the relentless creepy guy but i think that was mainly the fact that I had a load of really great guy friends who (if they were drunk enough) would try to pick a fight with anyone who made me feel even the slightest bit uncomfortable!
I've managed to battle the whole 'omg you're so old being fourth year' by completely avoiding student areas and hanging out with other fourth years. Watching this video reminded me how annoying I was in first year, despite not really matching any of stereotypes properly. I hate freshers xD Fun fact though, the people from London who overemphasize their accent usually die in Manchester. I spent a fair while trying to hide my accent in first year. Trufax.
OMG i didnt hear anything u said in the first minute cause your eye lashes are soo bloody pretty!!! you have such long lashes! please share your tricks ;) ;)
Soo true! You just forgot two Potheads and the ones that study are too much! But soo soo soo true! Love this vid, sending it to my freshers when they join in Sept (I'm a 4th year peer guide). Also agree on that 4th year... wow you're old thing.
Haha, it's so true! All that's missing are the super keeners/perfectionists who want to get a perfect A+ average and get in med school early. And who brag about studying for their MCATs in first year.
I just subed to your channel because of this video, great stuff. Here in the states we get all those stereotypes too except the London guy would be replaced with an inner city poser Yo! I'm on my third year and feeling old already haha
I'm a fresher, just started last week - LAD - check Indie one - check The creepy one - came into my friends room and wouldn't leave, check. Thin one who used to be fat - My bestie, check. The shy nice guy - Next door to me, check. The dorm guy - He has a giant meat cleaver in the kitchen which he hasn't seemed to used yet... check The girl who loves guys - Never see her because she's always across campus hanging with the lads, check. The one with a Landan accent - Check, man innit?! No lie.
what uni is that, at bradford we have a few of the ones you mentioned and a lot more... its quite diverse here. really fun listening to people from different cultures and thoughts
Hahaha Fooooking nailed it! I don't know what category I fall into though, I've never left my dorm room so I havent met most of these people you speak of...
It's pretty fantastic. Just be true to yourself. You'll meet people like you and make a bunch of true friendships. It's very scary, but there's a lot of support, and everyone is friendly at the start because everyone is nervous and desperate to make friends.
I'd like to think of myself as a bit of a lad as I can knock back an impressive amount of alcohol when I go out but I don't pull any girls as I'm also half computer/youtube nerd which makes me a very shy and fragile fresher when hungover :) haha
oh god im gona be the shy nice one..
Final Chronic YAY
Same
Walk into the club like... Ouch, I'm /that guy/.
Don't worry nice shy people! we will gravitate towards each other and form a big blob and consume everyone else mwahahaha- oh...y-you...don't wanna blob? ok...
Cracked me. Up for a all consuming blob?
+John Doe it should be a society
Alistaire Wu If I were more social, I would form one next year :D
I'd wanna blob hahaha. I'm going to uni this september and I'm dreading that I won't meet nice people quick enough to become close friends with. >
Lynn Ng clubs. It is a lot easier to find link minded people from there.
Guess I;m gonna the the shy guy who nobody gives a shit about XD
"I'm so fucking indie" omg that's so funny! Hahaha
I'm probably the 'nice girl' one. Although I'm fairly self-sufficient, I'm too shy for a social life here at home, let alone at uni.
I died when I saw the Londoner who exaggerates his accent xD thats probably going to be me bruv...
OH gosh I'm that London guy
You covered every single type of person I ever met at uni. So accurate.
I remember watching all of your videos when deciding where to apply to uni. I'm now rewatching them to pass the time until I start at Sheffield! Can't wait!

You forgot the one who thinks that they can drink copious amounts of alcohol, only to pass out on the kitchen floor before we even leave..
Char Aznable Yes I met a few of those.
HAAAAAAAAAHAHAHHAHAHAA the delicate one was a perfect impression of someone I know, hair and all! So true about the LAD phenomenon too, it's huge.
as a freshers, i can honestly say this is SO on point
You always had that one person in halls in your first year who would discuss which place is the best either the south or north of England and the different accents and how they say a certain word.

I'm not even in university, but I think I've already met all of the people you said I would.
I'm from Australia and besides the one from London, these descriptions are so dead on! It's almost creepy!
Starting Uni in a couple months. Really excited about it and glad I came across this video :)
I have met every single one of them. Frighteningly accurate
Watched this video when I was 13😂 and now I'm going to Sheffield uni this year. Didn't know you went to Sheffield. 😝
Thats crazy haha! Hope you have the BEST time!! :)
Laurbubble I know hha thank you 😝
Accurate! Missing freshers since I've graduated. :( Have a great start to your last year!
The Relentless Creepy One gave me the legitimate shivers. Yuck yucky yuck YUCK.
Starting uni in a couple of weeks and I thought I was gonna be fine, until I realised that I am 100% the delicate one 😂😭
Yeah I've met most of those kinda people! I love your impressions of people!
The Shy nice guy that nobody pays attention to & The Guy from London...
Has my name written all over!
suprisingly accurate
I love that you have a Daniel Sloss flyer :P
I think the point of university is to go through being all these people. I have got with so many guys, with a London accent, being posh and having a bangin' London accent all the while being Mr Shy.
In which I am a mixture of the shy nice guy and the guy who never leaves his dorm room. except for food. I'm not a serial killer I swear!
I was a mixture! Between the shy person that's probably going to do better than everyone and they guy who discovers his hotness too quickly over the year. Haha :)
***** I know! Age does that to a man :)
Out of curiousity - where is your picture? Love to see where my judgements are coming from :)
***** horrible thing to say but I laughed
I know that now I should say something about Her fantastic humor, knowledge of the subject that She's speaking about and Her video editing skills... but She is SOOOO CUTEEEEE :)
shy guy and never leave my room
Your 'London' accent almost went Jamaican for a second there XD
u missed out the shut in otaku
SUBSCRIBED! I've just finished uni but staying in the same area for at least another year working - totally gonna gatecrash Freshers this year! :D
YOU REALLY should have used this video for the competition you recently entered. This one beats the one you entered with!
lmao you got me with the eyebrows
I never had the misfortune to the relentless creepy guy but i think that was mainly the fact that I had a load of really great guy friends who (if they were drunk enough) would try to pick a fight with anyone who made me feel even the slightest bit uncomfortable!
I think my house at uni has every single one of these...
I've managed to battle the whole 'omg you're so old being fourth year' by completely avoiding student areas and hanging out with other fourth years. Watching this video reminded me how annoying I was in first year, despite not really matching any of stereotypes properly. I hate freshers xD
Fun fact though, the people from London who overemphasize their accent usually die in Manchester. I spent a fair while trying to hide my accent in first year. Trufax.
only one missing is the metalhead
Matt Jones A few others - the one who is obsessed with cannabis, the one really into films, the drunk, the boring one, the eager one, the joker etc
Three months into uni and I can tell you this is pretty much accurate. :L
OMG i didnt hear anything u said in the first minute cause your eye lashes are soo bloody pretty!!! you have such long lashes! please share your tricks ;) ;)
i love the british accent!
Soo true! You just forgot two Potheads and the ones that study are too much! But soo soo soo true! Love this vid, sending it to my freshers when they join in Sept (I'm a 4th year peer guide). Also agree on that 4th year... wow you're old thing.

Yay it's another uni video. You're def not old, I'M OLD! Oh the first year, meeeemories! x
I am in my 5th year at uni. I know the "wow you are old" reaction from freshers. very funny video.
Thanks for the video, i'm the shy type. I feel better now.
So glad i found your channel! you're hilarious!:D
I can honestly say that going to university in Australia, I have not met that guy from London who exaggerates his accent :P
I'm a second year now and this is so true.
I think I'm the polite one, lol
I'm back at uni too, 2nd year, and yeah, i've met every one of those types of people :D
hahah this is awesome. loved the lad bit!
I just subed to your channel because of this video, great stuff. Here in the states we get all those stereotypes too except the London guy would be replaced with an inner city poser Yo! I'm on my third year and feeling old already haha
I'm a fresher, just started last week -
LAD - check
Indie one - check
The creepy one - came into my friends room and wouldn't leave, check.
Thin one who used to be fat - My bestie, check.
The shy nice guy - Next door to me, check.
The dorm guy - He has a giant meat cleaver in the kitchen which he hasn't seemed to used yet... check
The girl who loves guys - Never see her because she's always across campus hanging with the lads, check.
The one with a Landan accent - Check, man innit?!
No lie.
Hmmm in october I'm going to be a fresher, and I have a terrible feeling I'm the' sociopathic end up on the news' one...
what uni is that, at bradford we have a few of the ones you mentioned and a lot more... its quite diverse here. really fun listening to people from different cultures and thoughts
i'm a fresher and yes i agree with you also this video is awesome
Oh god the guy from London always cracks me up! Fucking brilliant!
The awkward moment you realise you didn't meet one of those people because you are that person.
Hahaha Fooooking nailed it! I don't know what category I fall into though, I've never left my dorm room so I havent met most of these people you speak of...
I have seen each and everyone of these people.
Im starting uni in a few weeks. Here comes freshers. Oh shit.
In the US we go to uni for 4 years, I’m studying abroad in England and am a 4th year this year…I get the “old” looks too haha :D
lol the funny thing is that I live in halls in London and there is literally no one here who has a London accent!
Oh god. That summed up my entire first term. Thanks so much for the laugh xD
Old? You? Life starts on the 6th year at the uni, still undergraduate.
I love your videos so much!
Oh god I'm going to be so self-conscious at uni now....which one am I?!!
@zaielle my classes are in groups of 30 and the teachers always complain that we are ''such a large group''
I'm so gonna be that nice shy one......
I love how "lad" in America is like a cute little boy, but over there it's more like a "bro." :P
Ah good one! I forgot about that!
I thought he was referring to the guy that never leaves his dorm?
Lool I'm definitely the LAD, watch out Leeds!
I'm a mix of the nice shy guy and the guy who never leaves his room. Is that bad? :S
Remember When That was probably me. The social life at my uni was dire... it was only when I did six months at a language school I could partay!
i like the shy nice guy
...cause i'm a shy nice girl :D
p.s. you make such good impressions of the boys hahaa
you forgot the self righteous annoying know all type
xD met a lot of 'lads' I was working with the freshers helping them get to night outs, 9 times out of ten they had their tops off.
Which one were u ?
I'm still in 6th form, but I have a feeling im going to by the shy guy
I have a friend who's the Scouse equivalent of the London lad. Except he's from Birkenhead. And does it ironically.
I'm scared about going to uni next year now... ;-;
+kasumikat me too, haha
Things Michael Knows XD
It's pretty fantastic. Just be true to yourself. You'll meet people like you and make a bunch of true friendships. It's very scary, but there's a lot of support, and everyone is friendly at the start because everyone is nervous and desperate to make friends.
Josh Blake it's my second week here now and I was shocked about how easily people make friends but yeah I'm going to stay true to myself!
kasumikat You'll have a blast :) Every student's biggest regret is not joining enough societies, so try your best to do that if you have the time!
very talented...and very astute! "wicked, sis....whatever."
hi great to see a fellow sheffield-er on youtube, love the videos keep it up an ill add your facebook :D
If my kid brought you home he'd get a high five, when's the last time you heard that one?
I'd like to think of myself as a bit of a lad as I can knock back an impressive amount of alcohol when I go out but I don't pull any girls as I'm also half computer/youtube nerd which makes me a very shy and fragile fresher when hungover :) haha
yeah, she is so pretty
I think I will be the oldest from the first years. I'm 26. Plus, I'm shy, like very shy; due in part to my verbal dyspraxia.
I LOVE THIS! keep it up XD
Enjoying the vids. What category were you in?
Caving in to FB pressure, terrible
Damn this is so accurate .
