    Mam according to your video chiasmata occurs at pachytene, isn't it? As in the same phase crossing over occurs so must be chiasmata also occurs along with but mam I read somewhere else that in the diplotene phase chiasmata forms. Please solve my curie

      Those two sister chromatids are copies of one another. Those two do not add up to give 2n chromosomes. They are separately n and n.

    During meiosis II the four daughter cell should have half of 23 chromosomes (not pairs) because the daughter cell after meiosis I has 23 chromosomes so thr four daughter cell should have half why is there 23 only
