I’m normally a lone wolf here but I hated the way the guys treated Ross in this episode. He is clearly going through a breakdown because of another failed marriage and he wasn’t going to be there permanently. He just needed time to find a place.
I would totally agree with you if it was new/out of character. But Clearly he was like this with Chandler in college and if you remember the episode where he was completely inconsiderate of Monica at her apartment when dating Rachel. People can be irritated by a rude guest even if they are going through a hard time.

I'm just gonna say... Emily, not trusting Ross when it comes to Rachel, is completely valid. Need i remind you of how Ross and Julie turned out. He cheated on Julie because Rachel wanted him, not to mention she literally went to his wedding to tell him she loved him. Granted, Emily was not privy to that, but the point still stands.
I agree! I don't usually care with whatever opinion people have but Emily gets so misunderstood because people refuse to see it from her side. By Ross asking Emily move to New York to try make their marriage work, he's ALSO asking her to move far away, give up her home (and job!), and basically never see ALL of her friends and family. She's not the only one demanding things. She's asking him to do the same but on a much smaller level, and only because he has given her reason to doubt him. It's definitely for the best that they didn't work out; clearly the trust was irreversibly broken and they both needed to accept it and move on.
Thinking that Rachel has to go after Ross again is CRAZY, she literally already declared her love and he said he loves someone else and moved on with his life.
But no one said that? Nick was saying it doesn’t make sense she doesn’t want to go out with Ross for being divorced when the last guy she went out with is divorced. And after the wedding she still wanted Ross when he would have to divorce Emily to be with her. But no one said that Rachel has to make a move or initiate something with Ross again…..

I feel like Rachel doesnt want to jump into something with Ross if its not the perfect timing because if they do try again, it needs to last this time. I think shes too afraid hes not quite ready yet and thinks she needs to wait a bit longer... But she should at least express that to Ross.
You picked up on Rachel's personality trait, she only wants a guy when they're unavailable. Honestly, I was very much with Joey and Chandler on this one. They kindly opened up their home to Ross, filled the apartment with all of his stuff to the point you can barely walk through it, Ross should just be thankful that he has a roof over his head and perhaps chip in for their rent for the month. It was extremely rude of him to start changing their stuff, like the phone message, to start imposing volume limits, and so on. This is not your home. You're a guest there. Stop bothering the hosts

I was confused about the Rachel thing too at first but I think the “no divorced guys” is just a quick line she tried to go with to explain herself, but ultimately what put her off was being ditched at the airport and then having a lot of time to stew over it in Greece
I was not a fan of Rachel’s reasoning for not wanting to date Ross. I don’t even love Ross and Rachel as much as most, but she can’t say she doesn’t want to date a divorced guy when she just pined over Joshua last season and tried to date him when he was going through a divorce. And why would she want to be with Ross after the wedding, he would have to divorce to be with her…
I think Rachel is still trying to deny her feelings for Ross here. She got shot down at/after his wedding, so she is trying to protect her ego by acting like she doesn't care and is really into someone else. It's an extension of how she acted with Joshua when Ross first met Emily. She's overcompensating.
I think that Rachel no longer wanted to pursue Ross because she now felt like second choice. He was initially willing to cut her out of his life for Emily. No one wants to feel like their partner is settling for them.

I feel like Phoebe isn’t always the nicest to Ross, but when she is nice it’s so adorable.
The friction between them is mostly due to their differing beliefs. Phoebe doesn't adhere to science.
Ross’s hand movement would annoy me so much if I saw him do it constantly, but it’s one of the funniest gags just seeing Ross do it constantly.
I love how Pheobe offered for Ross to come stay with her, such a sweet gesture on her part.

I'm just gonna say... Emily, not trusting Ross when it comes to Rachel, is completely valid. Need i remind you of how Ross and Julie turned out. He cheated on Julie because Rachel wanted him, not to mention she literally went to his wedding to tell him she loved him. Granted, Emily was not privy to that, but the point still stands.
I agree! I don't usually care with whatever opinion people have but Emily gets so misunderstood because people refuse to see it from her side.
By Ross asking Emily move to New York to try make their marriage work, he's ALSO asking her to move far away, give up her home (and job!), and basically never see ALL of her friends and family. She's not the only one demanding things. She's asking him to do the same but on a much smaller level, and only because he has given her reason to doubt him. It's definitely for the best that they didn't work out; clearly the trust was irreversibly broken and they both needed to accept it and move on.

Honestly, I was very much with Joey and Chandler on this one. They kindly opened up their home to Ross, filled the apartment with all of his stuff to the point you can barely walk through it, Ross should just be thankful that he has a roof over his head and perhaps chip in for their rent for the month. It was extremely rude of him to start changing their stuff, like the phone message, to start imposing volume limits, and so on. This is not your home. You're a guest there. Stop bothering the hosts

I was confused about the Rachel thing too at first but I think the “no divorced guys” is just a quick line she tried to go with to explain herself, but ultimately what put her off was being ditched at the airport and then having a lot of time to stew over it in Greece

I was not a fan of Rachel’s reasoning for not wanting to date Ross. I don’t even love Ross and Rachel as much as most, but she can’t say she doesn’t want to date a divorced guy when she just pined over Joshua last season and tried to date him when he was going through a divorce. I think Rachel is still trying to deny her feelings for Ross here. She got shot down at/after his wedding, so she is trying to protect her ego by acting like she doesn't care and is really into someone else. It's an extension of how she acted with Joshua when Ross first met Emily. She's overcompensating.

I think that Rachel no longer wanted to pursue Ross because she now felt like second choice. He was initially willing to cut her out of his life for Emily. No one wants to feel like their partner is settling for them.
