I saw a thing on this guy about 15 years ago, now.. when he was playing for Minnisota - he had a smaller place then, and it was filled with all kinds of neat snakes and lizards and other reptiles, and then he had a pen with Huskies, a mama and her litter of pups! He was making howly sounds to get them to howl (I did the same thing with my husky pup) He just loved all his animals, I was pretty smitten. Always been a fan ever since.
For this man to being a Canadian, Brett burns is a Texan at heart look how he lives.

There are numerous wildlife preserves throughout Texas with many exotic animals, with a request made for permission, he obviously was granted the same opportunity.

Dope video but I doubt he climbed 2K feet. I’m curious if he forget to factor in the elevation he’s at? For reference that would be a 1/3 of the elevation gain from the bottom of the Grand Canyon up to the top.

So does he not skate at all in the off season? Is that common? I live in texas and there isnt a lot of rinks in central and south texas. I believe his ranch is south of the hill country and north of san antonio, san antonio only has one public rink and I doubt he skates there.

So cool to see the Zebras! They have Zebras in some parts of Texas, the Zebras get shipped over along with other exotic animals. They can be hunted but I believe the trophy fee is $10,000. Not sure if that last bit is accurate, heard it on a podcast. Not that reliable of a source haha but I tripped out too when I heard Texas has a Zebra population.
He owns a bunch of land and had the animals shipped in to hunt. They will breed on their own
