I feel like you have a painting of a Leica m camera on the wall so maybe you bite the bullet and go for the 240. It’s a jump in price but maybe you won’t wonder what it’s like to own one. Life’s to short. Enjoy it now. That said I’m sure you’ll love whatever camera you choose.

Hi Darren, Nikon. Zf looks amazing, but trying to stay away from the SLR type camera now. X100R (or VI) as some people think it might be called out next month. So it’s a toss up between that and the M8. I found 1 secondhand for €1600.
Another possibility would be a Fuji XT2. Very solid MIJ camera and you could get a couple of the Fujicrons and still stay under budget 😁.

Leica Q2 or Q3 the summilux lens on its own is worth more than the body alone..
Would love it, not in my budget though, maybe €1800 at best for my budget.

Have you considered the Nikon ZF? Xpro 3 is great I have the X100V and that's brilliant too
