How in the world have I never seen a single person mention the fact that Luffy doesn't even know what devil fruit he has? Damn near everyone else knows besides him. Obv he's going to learn at Elbaf. And since his power grows based on his imagination, once he fully understands who Nika even is and realizes he doesn't have the gum-gum fruit but instead, the sun god fruit, that's going to unlock his full potential. It seems so simple and I haven't heard a single person mention this.
Exactly, and we have people saying "oh g5 isnt imagination powers its only rubber" when we ade explicitly shown that Luffy has no idea and STILL is saying gum gum this gum gum that. Hes still using gum related attacks and people still think thats all gear 5 is going to be able to do. Its like a cat not knowing it has claws, so it doesnt use them. That doesnt mean its completely and utterly incapable of scratching you once it finds out.
A lot of people have already mentioned this, so you must not be involved in the one piece community much. Also Luffy can get stronger all he wants and realize what fruit he has, it still doesn’t change the fact that his stamina is not good. We need a powerup for that more than anything.

we’ve seen couple of instances where they use the nika word and Luffy goes all “ehh?” He doesn’t KNOW yet, once he gets to know, he gets his power up
@@MoonViewJayGaming I consider myself very much into the community. I don't know anyone fully caught up to the manga who isn’t. That’s why I’m saying I’m surprised I haven’t seen anyone say this. Also, we all know stamina is an issue. That was a thing from Day 1. My point isn’t about him getting tired, it’s about his maximum output not yet being showcased because Luffy himself doesn’t even know what fruit he has and who Nika even is. Once he realizes that, we’ll REALLY see his peak.

Luffy doesnt even know his fruit yet and that hes NIKA. So all that is left is his fulky mastery of g5 and stronger haki!
Stop being so technical you know what they refer to when they say “another form” …it’s not a direct transformation but it’s rather a significant power up that is so different from base gear 5 that it may aswell be considered another form of

I think I figured it out. Just like with thriller bark and shadows, everyone has a shadow and if you flip it, everyone has a flame burning within them basically like a soul. In fact just like the mother flame powers the ancient weapon, this flame is what powers devil fruits. People in the ancient kingdom sacrificed their flame to power a fruit, the stronger your flame the stronger your fruit. This is why you will explode if you eat two devil fruits, because your body can't handle it. And I think this flame also powers haki within everyone. This is why Impel down and the underworld in one piece is cold, it is to stifle your flame and weaken your will. Also if you remember zoros heart had a flame around it when he was trying to impose his will on enma. Also think shanks and his family have the strongest flames burning which is shown by their red hair, which is why he has the strongest haki. Like in thriller bark when luffy swallowed the shadows to make nightmare luffy, it may be the mother flame or other flames, but he will consume some flames to make dawn luffy or sun god form. Blackbeard and luffy are the only people who can house multiple flames. lunarians are genetically modified humans that can control their flames, like sanji. Got more theories in my head but dont know how to word them and my break is almost over lol

The mother flame will probably complete his gear 5 form. Luffy is probably incomplete right now which is crazy to think, since he took down Kaido. It would probably be called gear 5.6 to represent his favourite number, but to also show that it’s not a completely different form/gear.
Maybe his final form would be using Gear 5 and Gear 6 simultaneously. It was shown that he could use Gear 2 and Gear 3 at the same time so there is a possibility that this could happen and like you said 56 is a very important number for Luffy.
@@zigmantasbajoras The only problem with that is Luffy using the words “this is my peak” when he transformed into gear 5 for the first time. Using gear 5 and 6 at the same time would make that statement Luffy said untrue because he would be passing his peak (gear 5). That’s the only reason why I think Luffy will not get a totally different form, rather just an enhancement or innovation. So halfway. (Number 5.6 (close to 5.5 which is half of 5 and 6) But I can honestly see your idea still happening too though.

Gear 5 main drawback is its energy consumption. Luffy has already shown he absorbs energy from what he eats. Him eating the mother flame is forshadowed by him eating Kizaru's laser. Its hot but not impossible the mother flame is turn him into the Undying flame that Vegapunk was looking for, perfecting Gear 5 and doing what Joyboy couldn't do. Since i believe that Joyboy also didnt have a mother flame to consume in his time and was the reason he failed in the past.

@@gtro5565 That is true, HOWEVER IF Luffy does eat the Mother Flame, then i think that COULD physically hurt the 5 Elders because a few of them have scars and its possible that the scars aint cut like scars BUT BURNED SCARS since Luffy had a X shaped scar on his chest, so i think he will add new burned scars on them and those scars WONT be removed instantly afterwards.

Everyone is thinking about the mother flame wrong. It is an unlimited power source. And we actually know of another unlimited power source. Sun God Nika. Luffy is the sun god which to me means he has the sun at his fingertips. And whats a sun? An unlimited power source of warmth and comfort. The mother flame is just a physical form of this power. Need proof? Look at the Iron Giant that was awoken by the Sun God. Hell Vegapunk said he flew too close to the sun even.
So white gear five is like a blank canvas and the mother flame would fill it in if Luffy consumes it. It would definitely solve his energy problem and he constantly burns out when he uses this form.
When Kaido attacked with boro breath after big mom's thunder attack, and it didn't work, Kaido asked why? Luffy said guts, but maybe something to do with mother flame?

In One Piece chapter 1061 and episode 1091 respectively, Luffy had underwent another Gear 5-like form with red hair and pink like smoke when he gotten angry about food.
red hawk was first used in water, the mother flame is also being kept in water. That right there, its your foreshadowing - Maybe, this mother flame is something that completes Luffy's full form and Joy Boy was defeated because this mother flame was extracted from Joy boy, hence, defeated.
Luffy's next Power up = Eating Mother Flame
I believe it’s just going to be another Gear 4 type situation, where there were different forms for that specific gear: Bound-man, Tank-Man, and Snake-man.
The Gorosei, and even Rob Lucci in their awakened Zoan forms have this black-flamed hagoromo, with their hair becoming black flames as well. While Luffy is the only one we see with a more cloud-like, white hagoromo.
We’ve seen the silhouette’s of Nika before, and his hair at times looks more like flames than clouds. Idk, I wouldn’t be surprised if Luffy is able to use fire in a manner more reminiscent of the Mera Mera no Mi.
I like the idea that Luffy might just be in a hybrid form as well, but it seems like both the people from Elbalf, and Vegapunk recognized this form as Nika, so it makes me think he’s already in his full Zoan form, and not just hybrid.
As for the two weapons Nika is seen wielding, I don’t really think Luffy will have an actual physical weapon as we all remember how bro used a sword in Wano. (Lmao). Luffy has always been a brawler-type using his fists. Although I think it would be pretty awesome to see more Wukong-inspired aspects with Luffy, such as Luffy using a staff, but as I stated before, I doubt even that will happen, as he would probably need more time training with it, and I don’t see another time-skip happening in One Piece. But back to the sword, and spear… I believe the sword, and spear are most-likely representations of the other powers/abilities Luffy will have some sort of control over. The sword represents fire; and the spear represents lightning. We’ve seen aspects of this throughout the story already with Red Hawk, and Red Roc, and during Wano when Luffy was able to grab a hold of something that isn’t even tangible, and throw it at his opponent. (The lightning bolt)… Even from the filler fight with Grount, the fight against Don Chinjou, and against Katakuri. The foreshadowing has been there from the start.

The sun aspect in the sun god moniker is luffy and joyboy's attraction trait, he attracts all types of ppl as allies, luffy has the greatest gravitational force like the sun does next to blackbeard's black hole metaphorically speaking. luffys isnt gonna get a new form as oda can draw luffy doing anything now but theres most likely gonna be new tier or types haki if anything

there's a good chance that gear 5th is actually just the hybrid-zoan form of the nika fruit, meaning that he still has more to obtain to go full-nika mode, don't know though, gear 4 could be the hybrid instead, just a hypothetical

Sun is a metaphore for the attraction the character has. Its a characteristic, he is not literally the god of sun. Just like the gorosei arent literally the planets.

I don’t think he will get another gear, personally, I think getting to Elbaf and learning more about who Nikka is will give Luffy the “ideas” to make his form into fire.
It was stated by the Goresi and VegaPunk, I think, that the power of Luffy’s fruit is ONLY limited to the user’s imagination 🤷♂️
Maybe Luffy learning or hearing about the kind of power Nikka has/had will open up his imagination more to powers he can have. Probably a small training arc will happen in Elbaf to “fully” get the StrawHats up to par with the powers of the Elders/BlackBeard/Imu.

Maybe the image of Sun God Nika with the sword and spear is a symbolic representation for Luffys Sun God Nika getting Pluton and Poseidon somehow.
Luffy could make the water or other liquid rubber and eat the flame encapsulated in the liquid if the fire needed to be in the fluid for some reason.
I think he has a ways to go for haki still, but what if he recovers the weapons that the sun god were depicted having in his silhouette at Elbaf or something. I know I personally wouldn’t want luffy to fight with something other than his hands but maybe there’s something there

FYI the figure that we saw when who’s who was talking to jimbei he was referring too the sun god nika so we don’t know for certain if that figure was joyboy or the sun god nika.

The problem is, the elders and Kaido both confirmed that Luffy has awakened his fruit already, so all we know is that this is his awakened form, we don't know what it can do, other than bend reality and make everything rubber. Maybe Nika wasnt the sun god before, but was changed to be Nika the sun god since he ate the mother flame? The legend says Nika the sun god, while the devil fruits name is Hito Hito no mi mythical type: Nika (Not Nika the sun god, but Nika) I doubt he will eat the Mother flame, he has no time to currently, the one problem is that Luffy knows his devil fruit by the properties of rubber, if he simply was told the true nature of his devil fruit and the name of it, I'm sure he will be able to use his form 100 percent
The "Mother Flame" is self awared energy, it can't be "consumed". Oda sama never said Gear 5th is Luffy's "last" upgrade", Luffy Sama only said that it's his peek (currently), so we can't dismiss an option for Luffy to get another powerup.

Do we think the iron giant is going to do something with the mother flame. Like grab and store it for luffy. We dont have a ton of into on what the giant is going to do. It could have something like franky. We will have to wait and see. But I hope we get the info before they get off of egghead.

Just watched the bb and ace fight. When bb tells ace about his power. It’s gravity that not even a ray of light can escape.
Luffy’s final power up will be advanced conquerors haki. It’s not confirmed that using it the same as armament coating is advanced conquerors. It’s really not even confirmed that it’s advanced armament actually. When we see Releigh use it against the elephant, it throws the elephant before it hits Releigh. So there’s probably plenty of training for Luffy left to do.
Fire Luffy makes white smoke turn to black smoke just like the gorosei's.

Right here's my take on this. I think luffy's gear fifth is his last "power up" BUT it won't be his final form. Just like gear fourth luffy could make different forms as his gear fifth when he mastered it. This is highly unlikely tho because oda already did it on gear 4th and it's gonne be repetitive but hey for me this has more possibility than this eating eternal flame stuff

i dont think that there'll be a gear 6 cuz gear 5 is luffy's peak and he said that too, he can get stronger haki or master his moves. I personally think that when luffy will arrive at elbaph with dorry and broggy, they'll tell luffy that he's sun god nika and explain everything about nika to luffy as they already saw that luffy is nika. After knowing that luffy is nika, luffy will become more powerful and hence it'll be his gear 5 peak.

I have a theory luffy is gonna maybe almost die to a goeresi combined attack but the ancient robot will apologize to luffy and repay him bye bringing him the mother flame but the robot won’t be able to handle it so he will die but luffy will absorb the flame and activate gear 6th which is his sun god Nika full zoan
