Anyone else notice that the drum major changes outfit at the 2:00 mark? He starts off wearing a red shirt and white cap and then switches into his Drum Major outfit.

As a Gopher fan I can watch the Ohio State marching band performances for hours….no wonder they’re the best damn band in the land

I've just found out that a university can only win the Sudler trophy ONCE! Hence, I now understand why the OSUMB are not winning it every year as THEY SHOULD!! Yet, Avon HS can win the BOA every year?????

Quite impressive, but what am I looking at? Can't hear the announcer, no subtitles, no text. What are those figures they're forming???

I heard him fine. Read Dr Seuss' book Oh The Places You'll go you'll see sense in kid with balloon, elephant and Grinch type faces shapes. Figures like diamonds and crosses and pin and standing still in arch shapes are traditional marching band formations. As this is a band comp I'm sure there are required elements like that.
