The pyroshow at the start of the second half especially was incredible. You guys are awesome.
As for the game itself, they started the better but we rightly got a penalty for a foul on Sorgic. Meyer stepped up and buried it. Then of course they get a penalty for handball. Frydek penalised for handball again. Nowt he can do about it other than defend with his hands behind his back. Tosin made it 1-1.
At this point, the game was pretty even with Jashari running things for us. Everything we did, he started or was involved with. I am actually falling in love with him and it'll be a sad day when he departs.
Second half and we came racing out the traps with Brecher making two saves, firstly to deny Sorgic, and then a tremendous one to deny Meyer. Dorn then missed a glorious chance and for me the game changed when Ottiger put in a rash challenge on a yellow. Frick took him off and moved Dorn to RB and just for that second we lost our shape. Low ball in, Loretz can't get there, Tosin taps in. The last 20 mins though we offered NOTHING and Zurich saw it out comfortably.
I thought Ottiger had a solid debut honestly. Jashari especially first half ran the show. Sorgic was probably my man of the match for us. He didn't score but he set up numerous chances, he pressed their defenders and he generally just had a good game. I hope Frick sees how well he did and keeps him in for the home game against Sion in 2 weeks.
