Presented here is the fourth song in the series- Hal Swift's arrangement of "These Days", originally released on Rich Mullins' 1986 self-titled debut album.

Eeeeeeeeeeeee! I absolutely love it!!! :) The original atmosphere -- and I don't know, feelings, reality, just how dark this song truly is -- that's not only in the lyrics but also in the music of this version, I love the extra vocals and the horn. There's a line from "23rd at 32" -- "trying to keep my head while all around me, the world was losing its mind" -- I clung to that when I was in college, much as I clung to the sentiments expressed in "Maker of Noses." This song makes you feel it, and your version ramps that up to an 11. Thank you so much. (ETA: also we all need Jesus more than ever, I think. More true now than when it was written.)

Hal was able to isolate Rich’s vocals- and in some cases, individual instruments- using a variety of different AI music isolation apps.
