I am glad to hear that!
I will keep releasing them, although they will probably become unlisted after about a week. Which means they will no longer appear on my channel, but it will still be possible to see them by clicking on the link to the unedited version on the original (edited) guide.
BTW, interesting historical fact - last decision to escalate war in China is named Ichi Go, which was the name of operation Ichi Go, which happened late in 1944, when Japan was loosing everywhere, and they desperatly tried to tie the Chinese and Indo-China fronts, to manage logistics. This operation cost Chiang Kai-shek a lot of people, and absolutely destroyed China infrastructure, which then led to civil war between his nationalist faction and Mao Zedong communist China. Japan was indirectly responsible for creation of Communist China.

Also, Ichigo 苺 means strawberry in Japanese. Although, in this case it was meant as operation 一号 (actually ichigou) which simply means number 1.
Would love to know how you calculate the optimal sequence for building (civs, mils, infrastructure, etc) and also for research. Basically, how you develop your spreadsheets.

Unfortunately, there is no easy calculation. It is trial and error over a huge number of test runs. Every time I optimize it a bit more, if I notice I lack some equip I increase the production slightly from the previous steps, or reduce it if needed.
This is why country guides take a huge amount of time and effort to make, but they end up being very well optimized!

I decided that from now on I will always continue the runs after the main guide with one or two more episodes. For example: guide - the Soviets - the USA.
I will also start uploading unedited videos regularly, just a few days after the edited videos.
Sadly, I do not have a proper unedited version for my German guide.
I might continue that run in future or with the next updated version. But I think I will work on the Soviet Union guide first.

Hi! Thank you for your suggestion, yes ideally in unedited videos I should be taking my time and explain a bit more. The issue is with the editing, since it takes longer the more I talk.
Unfortunately I am entirely alone in this project at the moment, so I need to take care of every aspect of the editing and uploading, and I only have limited time.
This is why I recently started making fully unedited step-by-step guides (there is one on the Roman Empire and an upcoming one on Germany). If these guides keep being successful I might make one for each country I play!

I can never get the naval invasion of Netherlands to work, it keeps saying i need naval superiority in far east Indian ocean and timor sea which are both out of range of my sea units. Any help?
The positioning of the navy is very tricky in this case, you must make absolutely sure that each fleet is in the perfect spot at the time you trigger the invasion.
If the invasion is not triggering you will need to re-position all of them because they tend to automatically move away.
man there is a probllem with the guides, im not that good at atacking and bc of that for example im already in dec 1939 while u are on aug 1938 , for me germnay is already atacking and now i have to change almost everything, this are good guides but idk the little time changes change the whole gameplay, also sometimes i forget to do smt for example i forgot to put planes to train so i had to wait like 1 year more to make the plane designs and start to make them, what i mean is that is very easy to go in to another whole path idk
@@ALexalex-ss4sb hi! Timing can be quite important in some of these guides, but usually you can just follow the same strategy, just a little delayed. You will probably get less score at the end of the war but that won't be a big issue.
In this specific case, if Germany already took down Belgium and France, you can simply invade the UK from your puppet Netherlands. What you are not taking from the Allies, you can take from the Axis later!
@@MachiavellianStrategist thx man, also i tried some smaller countries in ww2 like mexico or india but i literally cant do anything they dont have enough factories, idk if its posible to conquer the world with one of those small countries maybe u should do a guide
@@ALexalex-ss4sb it is definitely possible, but it takes some practice. I have guides on some minors already, like Turkey, Brazil and Poland, you should give them a look!
@@MachiavellianStrategist i stoped watching the guide launched war against spain and prtugal then germany launched against me soviet union and my faction got all 3rd reich teritory in europe and asia but he went to canada and venezuela allied with them so the war agains germany never ended, , tried to launch an atack from the US to canada but soviets started atacking me in europe, they got hungary austria yugoslavia so i send all my military to central europe to try to claim the 4 capitals but i cant do shit they are too strong cant even move man this game is very hard without guides
@@ALexalex-ss4sbKeep at it. I started like this too. HOI IV needs hundreds of hours to become an intermediate player. I'm 300h in and I still watch these guides. There is just so much to this game. Always something to learn
How do you have 300k manpower in 1:04:33. I finished my Netherland war like 2 weeks after you and on 22nd September I have virtually zero.
I see now, very easy to miss, if you could update the spreadsheets with general dates for decisions, it would be really helpful.
@@oro88 hi! It was probably the institute indiscriminate conscription decision right?
I thought about adding dates to the spreadsheets, but it is tricky because there is quite a bit of rng on the precise timing. The current format is in the form of a checklist, meant to work as long as you follow that same order, even if you are not fully in sync chronologically.
For example, we need that extra manpower to adjust the templates and recruit additional divisions, so it's okay even if we get it a bit later since we don't really need it in the Netherlands.
In either way, I am always looking for ways to improve my spreadsheets, so I will definitely consider your suggestion!
How are you invading with more than 10 div in the beggining
It is the first special forces doctrine for marines! I got enough navy experience for it by training my initial navy!
why do you get that much air exp? i cant even get to 10 that early
It is from the civil war in Spain i believe. Unfortunately there is a bit of rng involved. You can increase it by microing your planes a bit and making sure that they are always assigned to the region with the most enemy planes.
