One thing I’ll suggest is Benadryl I was bitten by a spider in one of the villages. My leg swelled up and it was night time. Luckily the doctor was just leaving (only twice a week there in that village do they have a doctor ) and he gave me anti allergy med. so mosquito repellent and Benadryl or anti allergy meds.
Good advice! The anti-histamine in Benadryl can make you drowsy - when combined with melatonin, it helps to rest your sleep schedule and defeat jet lag. Also , I recommend bringing Nyquil/Dayquil. Croatia does not have an effective cold medication like it - and my husband and I tried them all. One more thing- Croatia has excellent medical care, should you need it. We saw a doctor twice during our month long stay. As foreigners, we had to pay, but it was not expensive. Both doctors and pharmacists speak excellent English.

Hello from Canada! Heading to Croatia on NCL cruise this October 6. What should we pack for the weather then? Can you see Rijeka by foot? Looking into an excursion on the Island of KRK. Anything you would recommend?
For money change, The exchange offices in the very center of some cities have bad rates, but those just a few steps outside the center can have much better ones. The exchange offices in malls and supermarkets have really bad rates, and so do those in the offices buying gold. During the 1990s serbs rpd over 50.000 bosniak and croatian civilians and mutltd there gntls in front of there parents... I really wonder why noone wants to visit serbia
do not carry medication if you travel by plane if you wear them, have your doctor write you a letter "for use" it's for airport security, you don't want to be labeled a drug dealer, or at best just confiscate the drugs
All you have to do is either carry the medicines in their original containers or get a note from the doctor or pharmacy stating which medicines you take. Been doing that for years, and have travelled to many countries without any problems. Never put your medicines in the checked-in luggage - always have them in the carry on. Checked-in luggage can get lost!

do not carry medication if you travel by plane
if you wear them, have your doctor write you a letter "for use"
it's for airport security, you don't want to be labeled a drug dealer, or at best just confiscate the drugs
All you have to do is either carry the medicines in their original containers or get a note from the doctor or pharmacy stating which medicines you take.
Been doing that for years, and have travelled to many countries without any problems.
Never put your medicines in the checked-in luggage - always have them in the carry on.
Checked-in luggage can get lost!
if you are coming here bring some money for people we are actually starving here while you are only ones having fun vacation and chill
