That wasn't really an issue for the now-discontinued first-generation Chevrolet Bolt, which had a range of 265 miles (426 km). A US version of the Seagull, if it ever gets here, will likely have a single NACS (SAE J3400) charging port instead of two Chinese-specific ports shown here). I wouldn't be surprised that a BYD model based on the Seagull is being developed for world markets, including the USA.
